"For what do I speak? For whom do I speak?", Quamar began the Forest Meeting. The crowd of deer answered, "The deer and the Forest of Tef!" Quamar was Leader of the Forest of Tef. At his side was his daughter Jaxhal, a loyal young doe who wore no set, but wore the antlers of an heiress to Leadership. Quamar's guards knelt. The rest of the deer, the Council, and the Common Deer did the same to recieve a blessing from the Twin Gods. All the deer rose, renewed in the sight of the Twin Gods. "Begin", all the Council members announced in unison. Quamar nodded. "My fellow deer", He amplified his voice,"The Abiogenesis is nearly upon us." Whispers fluttered around immediatly. The Leader stamped his hooves noisily. "SILENCE! I order you!!" There were times he had to be forceful. Jaxhal lied down. The Council shifted. "The Hallows Abiogenesis is on the night of the morrow. Lightbringers! It shall be dark. Bring your utmost capacity of light." The Lightbringers nodded. The Common Deer quieted. "My Common fellow! Harvest your sweetest grasses. Bring what and all that you can to the Hallows Abiogenesis. Adorn yourselves in the red blossoms and the pelt of the Crying Idol", He finished. All the Common Deer nodded, as if a wave of antlers.

"Let me speak" came a melodic voice. Jaxhal rose from the Highrock and stepped forward. Quamar settled down on the ground behind her. Quamar's guard leaned to one side, as if tired from standing. The Leader gave a nod and another deer rushed in to take his place. More whispers rose from the crowd. "Let me speak!", she said, more firmly now. "You see", the doe began, "I am of age", the poor dear looked down, dreading what she was about to say, but orders are orders. "so....." She paused, a pained look on her face. " I am ordered to be joined with a buck eligible of the stature of Leader. By, Law, I am not allowed to rule as one single Leaderessof the Forest of Tef", she she waited for the ecrowd to do something dreadful. She squeezed her eyes tight. But nothing, absolutly nothing happend. Her heart beat weak, she fell to the ground.
