fire in my bones and the sweet taste of kerosene..

Yar, I hate to post this uncolored right now, but I'm trying to wait for my tablet before doing so, intricate details and all that rot. Plus I tend to forget pieces I intend to finish, so this should serve as a reminder.
A single cherry stem? I bet we could do 50 in one minute flat with those tongues XD Now that my friends, is a skill that will be utilized in life very many times X3
I cannot claim that title, sadly. My titles are usually the mutated lovechild of my mind and any relevant song or noise I'm listening to. In this case Revelry-Kings of Leon.
"Once, long ago, this place was nothing but trees. One could not count them all - they filled every nook, every corner. They stretched endlessly into the sky and their great leaves blotted out the light of the sun, the bright of the stars, and the white of the moon.
"The trees were selfish, back then. They had the sun on their leaves, all for themselves - all of the plants on the forest floor withered up and died, for they had no sun for themselves. Without small plants, all of the animals died. The rabbit, the crow, they had nothing to eat, because of these selfish trees.
"But one day, a beast made of fire stumbled into the forest and, upon seeing its sad, sorry state, he grew quite irate. In this beasts mind, the only way to fix things was to get rid of some of the trees...for they had grown quite endless.
"Thus, he walked amongst them, setting many of them alight until one by one. They burned slowly, like candles lit for the dead, until enough were gone that the sun, the moon, the stars could shine down into the forest."
Bylah's head turned, looking at the small fawn beside him. Smoke curled out of his mouth, pushed forth by three tongues that writhed behind the beartrap of his teeth.
"Once done, he found the largest tree he could and laid down beneath it; he slept for days, slowly burning alive.
The first deer to come into reality in these woods did not find this fiery beast. All it found was a pile of ash, and a vast Old Oak, hollow on the inside."
