They're not meant to be color-accurate!! I just wanted to play around with colors and the flat brush after I got to thinking about Holi even though it's many months away.
Here's Verve all by herself!
We've got a purple Verve on the left and a red Tamas/Guard on the right. I drew him as an afterthought--just because he needed some art lovin--so he's not as cool looking as Verve.
(last night I swear the contrast was up super high or something because they both were pretty eye-searing)

I never heard of Holi before, now I googled it and do actually recognise it. That looks like a really fun thing to make art for too. Bright colors!

Ever since I saw your works of Verve wearing facial paint, it got me to thinking of how fun it would be for her to have bright colors all over her x)
All of the colors I tried for Tama's hair didn't work how I wanted except for that garish pink, haaah.
Holi looks like so much fun, doesn't it? Man.. every year I forget that they celebrate it in Seattle. Hopefully this year I won't forget and maybe I'll snag a picture or two to share with everybody!
I'm soooo glad you like it <3 I make most of my stuff when somebody decides to turn off the internet in the evening, so I didn't have a chance to grab a reference for her face, buuut I don't think I did that bad from memory. Verve has a really pretty face and her neck is lovely and long and--I'll keep myself from fangirling all over lol

I'm pretty sure they don't celebrate it around here. It's a shame. But you should go yeah! Make pictures! Have your camera pink and ruined! Err. No, skip that bit. But yes XD I've never seen it before, but it looks really neat. Maybe one day.
Ow that evil somebody.. No you didn't! She's very recogniseable, you remembered her pointy ears, baldness and long neck very well! Aw thank you, you're flattering me too much now! ;_; It's really rewarding to hear her design is liked, it means a lot ♥

Yay!! Mixing up opposite colors can be tricky, but I had a lot of fun with it x) You should try splashing random colors on your arts sometime!

Mmm yeah. A pink camera would be nice, but not so much a ruined one xDD; I wonder how easy it is to get one's hands on that colorful dust..
