What is Malware? He claims to have assisted the stricken hemophiliacs of the Bartleby family for generations, using an odd technique of blending a usage of human medicine and god-given forest abilities to heal virtually any wound, no matter the severity.

He demands order and stability in order to stay mentally sound, and as a result, has detatched himself away from the fluctuating life in the Endless forest, where situations are both chaotic and yet peaceful. Instead, he chose to thrive in an orderly, human-built habitat, where the chaos is muted by government, yet exists on a constant, pulsating level.

If you're going to have chaos, at least let it be consistant.

However, due to learning of his master's whereabouts, Malware has returned to the forest once more out of sheer loyalty.

Virtually nothing is known about Malware's deer life to begin with. Not even Faith himself knows of the stag's core origins, save for his abandoned name: Douglas.

Despite having a human name, the stag prefers people to simply flick their eyes up to his pictogram to address him... but for those who prefer words rather than eyes, he goes by Malware.

Deer - He's of average size, with dull green fur that seems to have greyed at the tips over the years. His face is that of a human, wrinkled with crow's feet and worry lines. He has a bulky body structure, not appearing frail but at the same time not at appearing strong. His face is always devoid of a mask.

+ Faith Bartleby +
Beyond all else, Malware will stop at nothing to ensure Bartleby's well-being, even going so far as to spend years searching for him. However, he does not at all feel any sort of loving affection for the younger stag. Rather, he holds with Faith a sort of respectful buisness-like family tie. He respects Faith, but by no means does he love him. Malware considers him more to a friend than anything else. He considers it an obligation to take care of the young master, but he has never shown actual resentment towards the task itself.
Perhaps he is merely upset that Faith is unable to pass on the line due to being infertile, one of the few things that he cannot fix.
Maybe that's why he's so bitter.


+ Jergens Foster +
Malware respects Jergens, though more on a professional level than an emotional level. He forgives him for hurting his master, due to knowing of the red stag's delusional behavior at the time, and continues to treat him as a 'higher-up', unlike most other forest deer.


* Alaska *
Though he knew the state during a portion his master's human life, Malware has never fully trusted Alaska, especially now for obvious reasons. Even so, Malware thinks more highly of him than the other deer in the forest.


* Crybaby *
Malware is intrigued by the small buck, which is very rare for him, and may even on occasion seek him out. He doesn't respect Crybaby as much as the white buck's older brother, but that's likely to change in time.
