Okay, so I've gone through the process of naming my deer about three times.
Why am I still a nameless, pictogram-less adult deer...?
To make matters a bit worse, my computer lags. BIG TIME.
It's like, stop-motion. One or two steps per 10 seconds.
I still haven't adjusted to the "Body Language Only" feature, and to top it off, it takes about a minute just to select one option.
If anyone sees a slow nameless deer, it's probably me.
My deer also has a very... awkward way of replying for the moment.
So far, I only know the "Greet" option. The rest are like, "huh?". Last time, a white stag walked up to me and greeted me, and I replied with cowering in fear, followed by a taunt. .-.
I also went into the laying down position, and I couldn't get back up. I tried jumping, but it froze and I kept jumping.
I had about 20 deer watching me, everyone just about as confused as I was.

The game is slow on my computer too-, go to "Display" and decrease the forest detail, and other things like shadows. Slower computers will be able to handle the game better.

You've tried to log in? Go to menu and then network and fill in your username and password.
And don't worry about the body language, no one is good at it at the beginning. That's why we have nameless feer and fawns for everyone to show they're new players who are still learning things. C8

And I suggest that you try the emotes out while no one is close to see you. Click them all and see what your deer does. Then you know what and how you are able to.
