If you edit in Photoshop, then I can give you some tips (as long as my dictionary can translate them)
I'm not sure what tips exactly you wish to know but about this your work: except that white spots it is not a fail.
So some my tips for removing the background:
- Do not use only eraser, try to use the tools for selecting area and then just delete it
- When the background is one simple color (here it looks so) the best tool is usually the 'magic wand'
- If you want to check that no cognizable spots of the background have left, create a new layer and paint it with color that is contrasting both to the color of the erased background and the object itself. When you put this layer down, you will see them easier. (especially when working with bright light colors)

Hope it helps.
Thank you, I should try it
