Inspired by some conversations between Toxic and Tails, I imagined a meeting between the infamous Nightmare and Tails.

Needless to say, it's not going well for Tails...

I swear it looked better in reality, but taking a picture of it killed it and so I messed around with it in photoshop.

EDIT: I apologize greatly for stretching.

Thanks! Call it a burst of inspiration, cuz usually my sketches don't turn out that developed! Sticking out tongue

Nightmare's skull is fun to draw Smiling love random spikeyness! And yeeaaaah, I didn't notice just how big it was until I stepped back from drawing. Oh well! It works Sticking out tongue

Hehehe, Karooi still startled Nightmare that time when she waltz over and went SNIFF XD I was all O_O;;;;;;;;; lol

Nightmare is huge compared to a standard deer but it works well with this picture :3 Maybe he could be dreaming in a Smoke influenced Dream :>

I wouldn't be surprised! And

I wouldn't be surprised! And it makes sense that for Tails Nightmare would appear in a more 'deerlike' form as it was deer that ran him from his former herd. (His greatest fear is true loneliness.) If Nightmare were to truly delve deep it would awaken all kinds of memories of his brother, the lead stag in his banishment. (and as Tails was very young at the time, his brother would have been huge to him!)

Luckily Tails hasn't run

Luckily Tails hasn't run into Nightmare yet (Or at least I don't THINK he has XD) that's not the best of things to have brought up. Nightmare doesn't delve into the minds of others himself, rather the smoke does. And that smoke seeks out the worst memories when it's inhaled D=

Edit: It's a good thing then that this even hasn't come to pass, because Tails does have quite a few bad memories of his past that could certainly be exploited!
