And by next month I meant two months CLEARLY.
Had left the forest for the first week of the rut, took his two young children Rue and Sam with him to keep them safe since both of his rambunctious and lively children would probably have gotten hurt in the commotion. It pained him to leave his wife behind but trusted her to guard the den and be good while he was gone.
Returned today, and was viciously grumpy and paranoid from what he had seen on his way back in to the forest that all was not well with his woman. Of course he was right, but he didn't know that. Displayed his might and devotion in multiple ways, and was rewarded with a consummation of their adoration and need for each other.
Poor, poor stupid badger. Too blinded by his affection to listen to his (for once correct) paraniod thoughts.

AA LILU BABIES HAPPENING AAA WHAT.
Witnessed the birth of his two children, tried to help his mate ease her pain when it came to the last child. Wasn't much help, sorta flailed around metaphorically while she did all the work.
Met his two tiny offspring for the first time, they hella.

Never updates because all Meao does is sit so many sittings so many.
Went on a big walk to look for any traces of October/Mellow, still cares about the little girl and hopes wherever she has gone shes safe and happy. Came back and rubbed noses with Lilu. His lady is so pregnant. So blobby. Won't dare say it to her face because although he's aware of it shes nothing but absolutely beautiful to him. Rests his head on her bumpy whenever he can and has promptly decided its a boy because he's had two daughters now its time for a change.
Quiet sittings until a newbie came and bothered them, but Shahla and Lilu saw them off with spitting and shovings, he just watched like an old grizzled guard dog before getting interested in Shahla's babies. He wanted to paw them but his paw was literally bigger than their heads so he snuffles them a little but went back to talking with his waifu.
She then rested the bumpy on him and he wagged his tail, offering to get her a lilly root from the water since it had a lot of vitamins and stuff he supposed she would be wanting. Little purple hoover. Well not so little but you know.
Walked around together discussing denning sites and were was most appropriate. Was going to make more of a point of staying near the den site now rather than his usual resting spot to guard/mark it and coat it in his scent to deter predators.
Is really excited now to meet his 'little boy', but masks it all to keep things calm and stressless for the missus.

LAZIEST FLIPPING PERSON EVER DOESN'T UPDATE CHARACTER BIO FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH.
Had mostly had a monotonous, quiet life in the spaces between updates. Mostly sits alone in his usual spot near the idol. Likes it up there but it'd be much nicer if random newblets stopped singling him out for antler spells. Nopls.
Been followed/hounded by a pair of wolfdog pups called Cyrus and Darius for the past two weeks on random occasions. Often stealing his kills or standing around with huge eyes until he just let them have it. Darius clings to him, often literally, Cyrus not so much. Gives him a few more bites than most would tolerate but they usually seek him out regardless.
Today was one of those times, Darius squirmed under him and had apparently drifted off when Lilu found them. Felt sorta sheepish about it, like being caught cheating or something. They just made him feel important and dadydish, so wasn't best impressed when she didn't take to them very quickly. Probably because Cyrus was being a giant douche. False charged them both to show he was the most dominant and they scattered. Sulked at Lilu for not trusting his judgement even if she said she did.
Didn't react when the pups came back to make amends, and grumped around for a while before turning back to his mate and licking her face BB I HATE IT WHEN WE FITE.

Ignored the hole in his shoulder and sat in the same spot, sort of waiting for the pale striped one to come around again. Thought about making a point of breaking his leg or taking his tail this time but alas, he was unlucky. The one time he was gearing up for a fight it didn't come to him. Hmph.
Because of this, eyed two strangers as they came closer to his berry patch and got all grr grr as they did.
After a while though, settled down and started staring at Shahla, his sort-of-neighbour over there by the thick tree. Lilu mentioned a while back that she was related to Shardul and he did see it in them. Wondered since he was pretty sure she might have seen their fight if she felt anything negative against him.
Rolled over to her to find out, and was surprisingly greeted rather hospitably. Wasn't really expecting that. Wasn't sure what he was expecting since he wouldn't have fought her even if she did take aggression to him. Enjoyed her company regardless.
Probably some internal desire to please Lilu by befriending her friends.

Sort of sat around thinking about what Lilu had told him. Ate some berries because comfort eating makes everything better. Even treated himself to a frog from the pond. Sort of noticed Shardul had appeared at some point and was staring at him. Eyed him back but didn't rise to it and instead turned around.
Watched him walk in front of his vision again. And again when he turned. Eventually had enough and got up angrily, starting back towards his safety spot. Was aware of the littler stag coming closer so eventually snapped at him.
Harsh words were exchanged and the younger challenged him. Despite trying to refrain from violence, eventually after taking a knock to his shoulder went into mauling-badger mode. Got a few bites on the other including a nasty shoulder wound and a mangled leg, but got kicks to his own legs and face (minor bruising), A gash on his left shoulder, and a deep puncture from the others horn on his right.
That hurts the most, spat after the other as he slunk off promising to one day kill him. Didn't care, if it wasn't for the threat on Lilu he'd have followed him and torn him to pieces even with a gammy shoulder until one of them died. Even if it meant facing the giant stag from before or worse, the blue pig and its feline companion bodyguards of the pale stag.
Gloated at nothingness, rubbed the trees around his spot and splashed peepee up one of them. Felt dominant, felt strong and good about himself despite everything and tried not to worry about what might happen when aforementioned others saw the younger males current state.
Sat back where he was indignantly and licked his shoulder long after the bleeding had stopped, sort of plugged the small hole with wet moss for now, at a loss with what else to do but stare at it.

Sat down in his usual relaxation spot when Lilu barreled over him, Stood up and they smushed faces. Briefly interrupted by Elle sniffing her way between them before shooting off. Rude little thing, completely blanked him before he could get a sniff in. Fine be like that. Eyed her companion dangerously before Lilu asked for his attention and he half gave it.
She told him she was pregnant.
All he responded with was Oh.
Took a few minutes to sink in, voice all crackling and snuggling/kissing her to death. May have shed some unmanly tears but family was a massive weak spot for him. Became tangled with the mixed feelings and uncertainty and certainly envied how she seemed so excited and calm about it while she was only 2-3 weeks and already he felt like he was failing his job as a father.
Tried to distract himself by talking about the gays having a fawn, and it made him interested. Was informed it was probably Lionel's sibling and Meao eyed them. Whatever woman I have my own assumptions.
With some false encouragement he tried to slinky up to Ezra and maybe try and give him a sniff and a playshove but was ignored blatantly. Stood there awkwardly staring at him before getting the picture. WELL NO ONE CAN BLAME ME FOR NOT TRYING.
Feels really stupid that she is good friends with them yet the white one is scared of him and the purple one hates him for no real reason.
When Lilu left he just sort of hung around feeling even stupider before returning to solitude in his berry patch before suddenly October HI BB GIRL HI.
Still all twisty and awkward feeling so neglected to tell her what he'd been informed of today, he needed someone to focus on and undoubtedly she wouldn't take kindly to the news. Would rather she was here at his side than halfway across the forest in a huff.

Idk Lilu and then cuddling and not much else because thats all they really do HE JUST LOVES HER SO MUCH AIGHT.
Finally spotted Sovereign again. Stared at him awkwardly for ages because how do. Didn't know whether to be angry or upset or happy to see him so just awkward staring. Would rather not mention it and try and slide back into whatever the heck they had before going for them.

ITS TECHNICALLY VALENTINES DAY SHUT UP.

Sat in his berry patch and stared at nothingness. Considered greeting Shahla when she came over and ate a few berries but he felt like being alone so he just stared at her like the creepy badger he is. Noticed Lebannen had slunk over, and recalled her from a few weeks ago when Nik and his cowardly sibling forced Lilu away and split him from Sovereign.
Wanted to talk to her, try and ease the ground a little to prove he wasn't a total blood-lusting bag of grr but she seemed occupied, and aforementioned he didn't feel like having company right now. Lucky that he didn't, soon after Nik himself arrived but Meao did nothing but stare at him too, eventually shuffling in a semi-circle. Didn't wanna chance getting caught staring and starting a tiff, these patches are mine hmph.
Lilu came over, and he uncurled himself to greet her, rubrubrub. She immediately came onto him, responded with vigor, suggesting they went somewhere a little more quiet.
Wandered near the drinkplaats, went at it like bunnies (or in his case doggies) and this time ACTUALLY HIT HIS MARK. Settled down in the afterglow snuggling his woman to death, probably aware she'd be a bit sore afterwards. Made a mental note to fetch her breakfast.

Im so tiPSY RIGHT NOW lets keep it short uhm
Wandered from his berry patch, wasn't very keen on it from the high amount of traffic near the crying idol recently. On his wanders towards the ruins to check for Sovereign (and try and mend the gap he was feeling growing between them since the male probably hated him for accidentally getting him involved in a showdown) noticed Shahla and another he didn't recognize facing down a doe he only somewhat recognized.
Something felt vaugely off, so he just watched in silence as they taunted, bucked at threateningly and laughed at each other, some sort of tiff but Meao didn't know anything about anything, only that the tigress was Lilu's friend and she would not like harm to come upon her. Also catfights are totally hot.
It ended just as soon as he came upon it, pretty sure the tigress was trying to say something to him as he tried to look inconspicuous and meander past, but was fairly sure she didn't want him to come closer and find out, for all he knew it was probably an insult for being so nosy in the first place.
Acquired three fawns, played nursemaid around the ruins with them though constantly tried to scrape them off on someone else. Eventually they left, and he settled down in a flower patch for the evening.

SO TERRIBLE AT KEEPING THIS UPDATED.
Lounged around in his flower patch licking himself, finally feeling more like himself now all his fur had regrown. Even climbed a tree for the first time in what felt like years to pester some bees for their honey, being mostly ratel in instincts of course.
Having a pale pasty exposed face was not very good though, could only manage to get a meter or so close to the hive before the stings on his face drove him back down the tree. Only three, nothing serious but lordy did they hurt. Returned to his flower patch and eyed the crazy blue pig and their gang above the idol. Wasn't going to make a deal out of their presence as long as they did the same.
After a while wandered down towards the pond for a drink, was stopped by his daughter. HERPDERPDERP'd her and gave kisses and cuddles and whoisthis.

U BRING BOY TO ME???
Stared at Warui awkwardly and skeptically as he seemed to be with Mellow. Loved his little princess and in typical cliche father was incredibly protective of her. Shes not allowed a boyfriend until shes 25 I SAID SO.
Still, knew she might not like him getting uber protective so he let them talk and 'play' while he went and got the drink he was intending to get. Came back as Mellow ran out and hid under him, asked her what was happening, to which she didn't reply, got all poofy and glared daggers at the male as he bounded over, for now blamed it on the nameless trying to cast spells on everyone.
Gave her a look like "Is this punk bothering you" regardless, to which she said he was being rather clingy and annoying.
WELL THATS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. False-swiped at Warui, eventually evolving into mock charges, and tried to literally nip his butt to get him to go away but he wouldn't listen. Became insulting, angrier, tried to seriously bite him on the last time and spat some angry harsh words at him. Didn't really want the boy hurt but what his girl wanted she got, and she wanted him gone.
Once he actually got the picture, play fought with her for a while, wrestling her around and biting at her tail before trying to pounce and run and frisk, eventually had to lie down all panting, and both enjoyed the quiet company.

Sat around in silence for a while grooming his scabby self, wounds are all healed and don't hurt as much, though his back is still a bit of a mess while the hair tries to regrow.
Nik approached him with a mini, and Meao backed away sharply and growled as the stag sniffed him. Bristled up and tried to snap at him but Nikhil kept pushing at him and nosing and the older male knew better than to rise to it (for once) and stormed off angrily.
At being followed, went to stand near the Pig and his crazy lioness as if to say "DO YOU SEE THIS", hopefully so they'd let him beat up the bigger stag without getting involved this time. Thankfully however Nik left him alone, distracted by someone else, and Meao hid out at the ruins for a while before returning to his original place.
Lilu found him, and he cuddled and kissu'd her and told her what had happened earlier, before returning to grooming and sitting around. Afterwards spoke to her about more future things like their pup(s) and how he hoped he could have a boy for a change, but the conversation drifted back to Nik and Shard and their ties to the doe Lilu witnessed giving birth the night previous.
Brought up bad feelings when she told him what she knew of Shahla and her relation to the boys, Meao felt sort of akin to her but wouldn't tell Lilu why, thought she would not see him in the same light if he told her the story of what he had done to his last mate and child.

WOOPS I DID IT AGAIN.
But mostly sat around Sov in quiet company. Was joined by Mellow and gave her some cuddles. How you been dumplin? Not much chatting, I had stuff to do.
Sort of drifted off, was woken by the sound of Lilu and Mellow having a bit of a spat. Tried to interviene a few times and split them up but it was like trying to catch smoke. He couldn't do anything but stare at Lilu and shake his head, and Mellow was too fast to catch. Mostly watched them bound around each other snapping while he silently pleaded with Ezra to help him, since the stag had been watching since his arrival with Lilu and Lionel.
Eventually caught his daughter by her scruff when the fighting got a little too serious for his liking, amazing she hadn't collected some scarring the amount of mouthing he does let alone all the scrapping, and literally dragged her away all bristled up. Set her down near the bridge and did the only tactic he knew worked on her, stormed off and hid from her (but kept an eye out from a distance, just in case).
Waiting until she'd run out of steam in the playground cave. Watched over her from the largest rock for a while before noticing Lilu had followed them. Went over and asked her to act a little more mature and stop winding each other up. Forgave the demoness.
Went to see Mellow then, gave her some cuddles and for the first time managed to say that he loved her, in his hamhanded awkward way (also said that he loved Lilu for the first time, but she did not hear that), and that her spats with the purple doe were kinda painful for him. Let her think about that for a while. Snuggled her to death with some kisses and cuddles.

New years cuddles with Lils, did absolutely nothing but lounge around with her being a bit bristly but otherwise kissycuddly and a mope.

29/12/13
Sat around with Lilu talking and grooming and being a sappy mess. Later in the day spotted Shardul and got all tickety-boo about it. They fought, Italia joined in, Meao chased Shard around.
Lats and Umay saw, they attacked him and Lilu. Had to beg them not to hurt her and let her go. Umay wouldn't listen but Lats would, said something about Shard being someones child. Favourtism in the eyes of Mr.Blake since they wouldn't listen to the whole tale. Eventually agreed to an uneasy truce. If he went after Shard they'd all go after Lilu. Not really worth risking it since the male mostly stays out of their way nowadays. Agreed and had a bit of a mope on Lilu for fucking everything up.

20/12/13
Sniffed out Lilu in the ruins, was horrified to find her all bruised and beat up, trotted over (and spooked away Lio) to touch faces and whine in worry, demanded to know whats wrong. Even more horrified to hear the tale, the pale one horned stag who had been attacking a little doe had sent his brother after her and he'd attacked Lilu though she ran away.
Incredibly angry at that news, spat many insults about the two other males for being cowards and attacking females, asked to know what the brother looked like, and once he'd been told enough details immediately stormed off to find him.
Did so, in the company of a fawn and another, asked him to step away from the fawn and come closer, and then had angry words with him about what had gone on, didn't appreciate a man who hurts a lady, and Nikhil came close to threaten him, and worse, threaten Lilu.
Attacked the stag, bit at his neck in his locked-jaw fashion and clung on, ragging around like a pit bull but leaving his back exposed, was horrendously mauled across his shoulders and back by the other males fangs but did the same to his neck.
Honestly it would have carried on until one of them was dead, until Fletcher came and split them up. Gave him angry growls and threatened the new comer though he was struggling to stand without trembling or his legs giving out. Fletcher pushed Nikhil away, and Meao was too weak to go after him but didn't want to stick around for the new male to come back and fight on the younger males behalf.
Limped away, collapsing in a flower patch panting as the adrenaline wore off. Was in absolute agony from his shoulders but stayed where he was in case they followed him. Waited until he was sure everything was calmer and used his last reserves to drag himself back to Lilu and guard her. She eventually spotted Lucy and went to talk with her, and he managed to follow but immediately collapsed into a sit, biting back the urge to sob with the pain of movement. Passed out from both pain and blood loss for a while, when he awoke Lucy was gone. Didn't care, he didn't care about her at all rather the principle of it. Cared about Lilu though, who was licking his wounds. Did the same for her and both of them dragged themselves behind a wall in the ruins and curled up together for the night. Felt a strong sense of devotion to her, especially since he just risked his life for revenge. Still too stupid to realize shes an incubus though.

Anyway was on patrol and came across a Mun in the blue bowl, asked him if it was alright if they sat together and did so for a great many hours.
Smelt Lilitu close, and got to his feet to go find her and instead found her staring at him. Mun didn't stir so he sort of ditched him (sorry 8n8) to be with her. Played pounce-tag, snuffling and pushing her around gently though that pulled his back out.
Sat down to hide the pain. If he had any chance of putting the moves on her again he had to seem fit and agile and very very good with stamina. She somehow got him onto the conversation of boasting about prey he could bring down, and he stated he could pull down another deer if she wanted.
Turned out she did want him to.
Oh.
Slunk around looking for a suitable target, and eventually went after a small, young stag by the stream (snuggled a nameless to death ahaha) and pounced, biting and clawing and trying to brush off the hoofs and antlers to his bulky frame. After a big scuffling he managed to kill the young male and dragged it back to Lilu to show her. She seemed very impressed but she was with company. Ezra and Lionel were there. The bigger stag didn't seem right bothered but poor Lio looked like Meao had killed a tiny baby bunny and was painting himself with the blood.
Well he was covered from head to paw in speckles of blood and having a body hanging from his jaws wasn't the best.
Hid the body behind a tree and went to see if that was any better, but the poor lad wouldn't come any closer and they were having to try and coax him closer. Ho man woops. Told Lilu he'd bury the body elsewhere.
Dragged it away and did so, and went back to find her talking to the little youngest stag. Gave him a harmless tail wag and tried to go over and show him he wasn't a monster but he just noped away. Felt horrendously guilty, he was supposed to be the good guy, he used to be a cop after all. Licked his chops and moped as Lilu tried to give him a pep talk.
Eventually they moved from staring sadly over at Lio and Ez and went to tuck into the deer.
It was all polite nibbling until they started, and then it was like wolves at a ham shank, all growling and snapping about who got the best part and trying to eat as much as fast as possible. Had a laugh about it afterwards.
Sat down to ease his wounds and extremely sore back when Lilu spotted something and stood up. Followed her lead and stood. A lil girl getting snapped at by a big angry looking doe (he couldn't tell from so far away that it was actually male), Lilu said something about it being an unstable male and they just stood and watched as the pair ran away.
When they came back Meao decided that he should actually stay true to his previous position as a law enforcer and shot over all a-bristle; "WELL WELL WELL WOTS ALL DIS THEN."
Gave a yowl and a false-swipe at Shardul which made Lucy run. Thundered after them both intent on breaking up whatever this was. Ended up he and Lilu guarding the little female and Blake getting all kinds of angry and fluffed up, swipes becoming more serious and trying to grab a good enough hold to lock his jaw on him so Lilu could get some good hits in, but wasn't very good at catching the fast male and was intent on stopping him getting closer to Lucy.
Eventually he turned on Lilu and Blake noped super hard and went for a squishing-pounce which narrowly missed. Chased him off and threatened and was threatened from a distance. Yeah come here and say that to my face I'll put my claws in your hind ya craycray stripey sod.
Watched him move off and tended to Lilu's minor scratches. His own back was in absolute agony now so he had to lie down and groom her there. Oh yeah who is your brave knight? It's me.

Lingered around the forest for a while, hunting but not catching anything and eating enough blueberries to stuff a bear. Felt sort of queasy afterwards. Was approached by Lionel and two others he tried to politely greet, but wasn't right up for bouncing around and playing (not really a playful guy) so just watched before they moved off.
Lilu found him, tried to deny he was jealous of the smell of two other males, thoroughly wiped off the smells on her by smothering them with his. Rubbed all over her and smothered her when they lay down.
Mellow then found them both, tried to coax her into behaving but she kept sneezing on everyone in spite. How do deal with teenager. She had a bit of a huff and he tried to give the DADDY STARE OF STARING but she was just 2sassy. Eventually tried to turn to Lilu for support when Mellow ran off but she didn't know either. Gave him a lil kissy on the cheek that made him all "hurr".
Went and found the teen. IN THE WATER. GIRL WHAT DID I TELL YOU. I'M PRETTY SURE ITS DON'T SWIM IN THE POND. GET OUT DA WATA.
Eventually had to swim out there and drag her out. Very many tellings off. She got all huffy, he got all huffy but didn't want to leave her. FOLLOWED AROUND IN THE HUFFMOBILE. eventually begrudgingly she started to decorate his fur with flowers and he lay on his side and took it, secretly smiling. Stop getting older girl.

Slumped near Sov's tree while the guy slept, before moving off to the pond for a drink. Caught the sent of the demoness and went to join her. Greeted Lionel who was there but just stared at Ez since it was all he was receiving too. After a while Lilu moved off, and he moved into the forest to get warm in a sunpatch. Was joined briefly by Djina before Lilu came past and distracted him. Leapt to his pawsies to join her.
Grooming, idle chatter, the doe noticed they were being watched by an odd feline. Bristled up defensively as she came close. Tried to keep between both of the females (sorta) but Lilu gave the impression she didn't want that. Sulkily complied and backed up. Didn't like Umay getting all up in his face like that, gave her a few growls and mock snaps before finally having enough and swiping at her. Prompted her to shove them around a lot.
Conflicted, didn't want to fight, didn't want Lilu hurt, didn't want Umay anywhere near them. Tried to lure her away, then tried to stand his ground and snap at her when she shoved him. Kept his good side to her at all times. Dislikes the feline heavily for such rude and aggressive actions, must avoid from now on.

Guarded Sovereign and his tree, upgraded to mega-guard-mode when Mellow joined them. Wary of all strangers and poofed up/growled at anyone and any thing. Mauled someone today in defense of Sov's tree, though it turned out to be an account-less so hardly that exciting ahah.
Got flowered from his little girl. Ah thank you he hasn't even managed to properly wash off the blueberries you smushed into his pelt ya lil trouble maker.
Met some new faces but with him in ultra-guard-dog mode, no introductions were made. Until next time then.

Had a bit of a stand-off with the fire-faced creature from the previous day. Lots of staring, it wouldn't heed his warnings and angry snaps/growls/poofing and didn't seem mithered about his mock charges. Didn't want to fight the creature head-on since the front end looked mighty dangerous tbh. It mocked him by leaning on his blind side. Tried to bite it but since it was his blind side, tOTALLY MISSED.
Dislikes this creature but has no reason to loathe or wish harm on him as of yet. Will have to wait and see.
Then some more stuff then Mellowww!! Got painted on with berry juices. Thank child.

I have a raging headache so ill update this later but he camped beside sov and djina for a while before sov left. Met a little stag (Norin?) who lead him around the forest but couldn't tell if he was trying to ditch him or not but the stag rudely refused to respond to him. Yelled at him in the company of others and went towards Farrah. Stumbled upon her having a mini face-off with a stag that gave him the shivers.
Watched for a while not knowing if he should intervene or not but his past life as a human and his strong canine loyalty meant he couldn't help but stay and make sure it didn't escalate past harsh "words" between the mute and the not.
Moved closer to guard the female, who moved behind him, and gave the male a stink eyed stare, keeping his one good eye on him as he moved off. Knew better than to ask what all that was about so just sprawled out on the rock beside her in silence.

Hid out in the ruins for a while. Noticed he'd been joined by the fair Farrah and gave her a polite nod. Enjoyed her company for a while before sniffing the faint scent of Lilu. Tried to wake the black doe awake to tell her he was leaving but after a few attempts decided to leave her to it and moved off.
Found the demonic doe, greeted her with vigor and flirted his little tail off to which she responded to eagerly. SCORE.
Went and fetched her some red flowers, and then decided to show off and offered to catch her a rabbit like it would be no fuss or effort. Went off to catch a rabbit. Found a squirrel instead but killed that. The smell of its blood faded the smell of the incu/sucubus and he paused for a while to consider what on earth he was doing, and if he should even be doing it. By then Lilu had come and found him again and the smell returned. Offered her the squirrel and wagged his tail to bits when she gave him a little kiss on the cheek for it.
Groomed the doe, flirted with 'her' which turned into whispering sweet nothings and then into essentially dirty talk. That got him a little hot and bothered.
One thing lead to another and tried to mate the smaller female. Failed miserably since he got on at a weird angle and lets just say the rabbit didn't get into the burrow and Lilu wont be having any baby-Meao's anytime soon. Apologized profusely afterwards but she seemed to calm him with promises of another go as soon as he had his strength back, that cheered him immensely and settled down in the afterglow with her leaning upon him.
After a while though was found by Mellow. Nonononono this is not how he wanted his charge to find him. Tried to stand and greet her but she was repulsed by the smell of Lilu all over him, regardless tried to coax her over but she managed to pick up on his nervous shame and coupled with the smell of the other doe, ran off.
Charged after her without saying goodbye to the demoness, spent a great deal of time trying to find her, calling her name(s) and wandering around. Checked the pond, the forests, the playground and even their little den thingy and eventually came across her in the custody of Reed.
Coaxed her away and thanked the red stag for his care though nervously and tentatively, and lead her away into the forests to sit.
Tired beyond reason now, lay there and let her paint on him with berry juice, thankful she wasn't asking about what had happened in the long red grasses between him and Lilu.

Sniffed a whole lot of sniffs. Trying to get reacquainted with the forest and its inhabitants. Found Farrah in the flower patch. Greeted as polite as he could and asked to sit with her, rather charmed by her paws and fascinating face (but knew better than to stare or inspect the lady). Spent a great deal of time reflecting on his settling-in procedure when he realized he'd been joined by Sovereign. Rather surprised the fallen king would pay him that amount of mind compared to tolerating the ratel male's company on behalf of his own whims.
Whatever, gave him a sniff or three and nodded approvingly. Flumped down and gave him the doggy-stare.
Was roused again when Sovvy ran off, so Lysander followed. Then the royal turned back and seemed rather sad by the action? Perhaps a mistake, wagged his dumb little ratel tail regardless. Confused when the other pawed the earth. Meao took it as a stay here. Stayed. Sat. Waited.
Where the heck did he go? Went after, back at the flower patch?? He got up for him. There it was again, sit, stay, wait. Sat, stayed, waited. Gave an irritated noise before he realized that the stag was actually trying to get him to follow him. Gave a sheepish little nod and rolled on after him.
Spread out in the flower patch, head between his paws like a silly looking dog if it wasn't for his mismatched eyes staring up at the fallen king like a hound expecting a walk would look at the door. He did not see him as the master to open the door but rather the one that was still to be waited for regardless. And PS I'm terrible at analogies. And trying to hint to his history when i haveN'T EVEN POSTED THAT.
Eventually the female left, and Sov fell asleep. Decided to stick around for a while regardless, and spotted a mini fawn playing with some trees nearby. Tried to approach the little thing to say hello but managed to scare it. Wow well done. Didn't put him in a great mood after that but returned to his vigil anyway until he felt it was time to return to his den. Wondered where Mellow had got to.

Lead his little kid around today, showed her how to bash the mushrooms. Met the lovely little boy Mývatn and invited him around but he didn't follow long. Tried to teach Mellow how to hunt the frogs. Gave her a good scolding for disobeying him and going into the deeper water where she might fall in. Had to go get her and drag her out by the scruff. Told her off and used his father-y tactic of ignoring her. Walked off pretending to ignore her and not care.
Let her come back though, and feeling like she'd learnt her lesson gave her some cuddles. Lead to the shelter in the playground for naps. After which back to the pond for a drink, and then back to the mushrooms. Was joined by Lilu, gave her a sniff/snort and a rub. Flirted the pants off the demoness but was interrupted by Kiddo being a brat. Intoxicated by his feelings towards Lilu, scolded Mellow angrily and eventually lead to her biting at Lilu.
Grabbed his struggling charge and slunk off back to the playground. Left her on a rock to think about what she had done while he went into the shelter and let the fluxing emotions disperse. After which tolerated Mellow joining him, and even groomed her apologetically.

HE DID A LOT OF THINGS ON THE 27TH like meeting wroclaw and having a bit of a tiff with Ezra and sniffing Lionel and meeTING SO MANY FACES OMFG.

Sat around, met a strange stag who persisted to bother him many times through the day. Moved off to the ruins and sat up on the wall. Noticed he'd been joined somewhat by a decaying Jack. Honestly the smell made him hungrier than disgusted but sat still regardless.
Met Lilu later, rammed his nose into "her" back and huffed like s/he was going out of fashion. Didn't speak to "her" or even exchange names, despite his ham handed attempts to flirt. Groomed, played and sniffed "her" to death. "Her" spell-cast scent smelt of something very private and personal to him, forging an impossibly quick attachment to the demon because of it.

Hunted with Wagt. Likes the birdy stag, not that well liked back. Whatever. Didn't actually manage to kill anything though.

Met a variety of faces, very interesting deer but his own actions lead to it being very uneventful and hardly worth mentioning. Did however meet a tiny polite yet overbearingly naive fawn. Doesn't know her name, he never asked and she never told. Thus she is named "Kiddo."
Fluffed up his paternal instincts incredibly, spent the entire day leading her around, playing at the playground (in which both of them hit their heads falling off a rock, and Lysander set off a nosebleed) and keeping her safe and snuggled when it was naptime, even if he did have a bit of a telling-off about the depth of the pond and how far in she was allowed. Gave the little fawn many rubs when he went off to hunt for the evening.
