Okay, then...

(Please ignore this message itself - I don't want to delete it and seem deceptive, but it's really not true, and everyone's been very gracious. Remember, friends don't let friends post half-awake early morning grumblings before they've had a single cup of coffee... Eye)

I don't know what I said wrong in that first blog entry to not even deserve a "welcome to TEF" from anyone, but after having to go to all the other threads welcoming newbies to find the answers about how to act as a deer answered... yeah, I don't think I'll be sticking around anymore. It's a shame too. The forest is beautiful and the freedom of running through it and leaping over the streams and hills is exhilarating. Maybe I'll turn off the network and just be a solitary deer or something.

Thank you to shamiya for answering that first blog entry, and for the compliment about the fawn.

Antisocial Deer Disorder

Shika's first few days as a fawn, and it's going a little hectically! I'm still figuring out the controls and how the expression commands work, and so Shika-san probably seems very flighty, nervous and prone to running away to anyone who sees him sprinting by. To the mysterious fellow fawn who came up to him by the riverbank last night, gave him red flowers and did a dance, you have my gratitude, even if it seemed like he laughed, sniffed you once and suddenly logged out. Hopefully Shika'll develop a good enough grasp of cervine etiquette to be more entertaining company soon. Smiling

(By the way, how do you give flowers to other deer? It's the only action that still has me stumped...)

Also, the new purple flower stalks are wonderful!
