Candles?

I know this has been asked before, and I feel terrible about asking again. >.< But could someone please cast candles on me? I've been looking around the forest trying to get them naturally, but so far I'm not having any luck, and Halloween is almost over.

I'm a monarch butterfly orca masked stag sitting all by my lonesome on the playgrounds.

Like Butterflies to a Flame

As the days grew colder and longer, one could see that it was the middle of fall in the Forest. The leaves, though unchanging, appeared brittle. Flowers, though blooming, did not grow any longer. The lake whose water was warm now ran cold. Autum had come to the Forest, and so did its festivities.

Every so often, a large stag would roam the forest. His head had rotted away leaving nothing but bone. His pelt, once a beautiful brown, was now gray. Not lifeless, yet, but no more vibrant than the moss of the Shrine. Parts of his pelt had fallen away and left clotted red patches with bone sticking through. The most prominent, and maybe the scariest part, of his peculiar features, were his large fleshy-red moose-like antlers. A human would guess that his rack was around 8ft long, maybe more. To Aetaine and the other deer however, they just knew they were large, would get plenty of attention from the females (where ever they are), and they prayed to the twin gods that they'd never be turned on them.

Or not, Aetaine, supposed because when Velocity fell into a sleep, wrapped in the warm mist for a blanket, all the deer in the forest would come by, cast magic on him, and become into his image. He could not fathom why. When he asked he was told it was in honor of a holiday most have long forgotten, and he was still no closer to figuring out what THAT meant, so he eventually lost interest and just played along. And then one day Velocity slept close by the playground, his mist suffocating the place... and he saw bright lights, many of them. Intrigued, he came closer and found candles, all lit up and beautiful. He turned his black, masked head to Velocity and smiled. For such a fearsome creature he doesn't leave chaos in his wake. As he stared at the candles, not minding the silence, he began to tire. And when his eyes and legs would no longer support him, he too slept.

Red eyes slowly opened and they saw shadows. It was dark. There were no lights.

Aetaine

Name: Aetaine*
Gender: Male
Age: ---
Hobbies: Staring at the butterflies
Appearance: Monarch butterfly pelt with orca mask and plain antlers (until I can get some candles or candle season is over)

About: Aetaine is a deer that is just there. He likes to sit on the side lines, and if there is work to be done, he'll be the first one to offer assistance in the background. While it sounds like he would be shy, Aet actually isn't. He will walk up to other deer, bow to show respect, and sniff, nuzzle or whatever to show that he's interested. Fawn seem to love him and he them. Seeing a child growing up in the forest that he too grew up in fills him with joy. One thing that also gives him pleasure are the butterflies. He could sit in a flower patch with them fluttering by for hours, but that's not the only thing he'll do for fun. Aside from frolicking around the forest, he will also engage in pelt/antler/mask magic tag. Just hit him with a spell first and give him a few minutes to respond in kind. He does not scare easily. Velocity, as frightening tall and gruesome he is, intrigues Aetaine to no end. Curiousity may kill the cat, but what does it do to a deer? We shall see.

You can find Aetaine everywhere and no where. He is a wanderer and usually doesn't stay in one spot for long unless he's playing.

*"Aetaine" (my version of spelling "Etain") means butterfly.
He hopes to see you all in the forest!

Behind the Deer

No idea where this should go, so pm me or message me if its in the wrong spot. Thank you and sorry in advance.

My name is Daeviashion, but you can call me Dae. I've been in love with animals for years, so when my best friend showed me the game I was overjoyed (as well as going, what did you get me into this time?)

In my spare time I like to write stories, crochet, or read. I also write poems, but I'm never happy with them and they seem more of a chore.

My deer's name is Aetaine and I will post more about him when I have his character together.

As of 10/30/12 9:17 am EST I am still feeling the effects of hurricane Sandy.

Random facts:
~I love keys
~I play the piano and every now and then compose a song
~If I have not gotten enough sleep I will be hyper
~I have a pet rabbit
