Níðhöggr is a fatherly figure to young fawns, proudly showing his
battle scars from predators and the like. He also was a striving young buck at one point in
his life and has gained experience in battle for a mate. His mate, Eir,
is long dead and has moved on from life in the forest. After she died he became very
quiet and hermit like for a long time, only walking out in the open every now and then.
He now has since recovered from the grieving process and fully socializes with other
deer.
He enjoys company in herds, meaning simply, a large group. He will attempt to bring
deer along with him in the search for others, especially fawns. He also enjoys a healthy
battle every now and then, his old age somehow making him feel like he can take out
any young buck...although that isn't true at all, just his cocky nature.
He enjoys munching on vegetation of all sorts and especially adores Ash tree roots. His
favorite sweet tasting plant in the forest is a species of blue bell flower that grow in large
patches throughout the forest.
He dislikes predators from his past experiences and will not hesitate to attack and drive them
away from a herd or lone deer. He also dislikes the taste of caterpillar, that is, when he doesn't
pay attention to what he's eating and one sneaks in.
