Biography: Dee-dee is a young fawn barely able to survive on her own. She's very friendly and loving toward others, but mostly if they show such mutual friendliness in return. She has no one truly special in her life yet, and treasures every moment spent with those closest to her. She's a very playful young doe, always wanting to romp, chase, play tag, or hide and seek. She especially enjoys dancing and is thrilled when others initiate her in a dance show.

She's terrified of storms and sudden noises, and will often hide in the hollows of the Old Oak Tree, or under the legs of an older deer. She tends to listen to her surroundings carefully, in order to locate her favorite landmarks, identify familiar deer, or avoid any possible threats that may be heading her way.

She's incredibly shy and will often display this fact by cowering down or slowly backing away from strangers. She also dislikes fighting or any show of violence, and as such, she observes from behind trees and prances around anxiously when two deers are fighting. She may also let out loud bellows in a plea for them to stop fighting.

However, in the event that she draws unwanted attention toward herself, and the deer turn his/her agression on her, she'll back away petrified. She may simply cower down, plea for them to leave her alone, or if worse comes to worse she'll turn tail and run. If the agressor should choose to pursue her, she'll call for help, so if one should hear her bellow repeatedly, it may be wise to check on her. She may just be lonely, or she may be in danger...

In game communication

Lie Down - If she lies down, she's most likely just relaxing and enjoying nature. (I often lay down before I go afk as well) If she lies down next to another deer, she is cuddling up to them.

Roar - If she roars/moos while alone, she is calling for the company of others. If she roars in a crowd, or when a deer runs past her, she is attempting to gain their attention. If she roars while you are laying down or sleeping, she is attempting to wake you up. Since she is lonely, she tends to roar a lot. Since she is shy, she often doesn't know how to react after gaining the attention she seeks...

Listen - When she is listening intently, she is most probably attempting to locate other deer, or a source of water for a cool drink. She sometimes does this to listen to her surroundings, as she is wary of strangers and cautious of danger.

Rub a Tree - If she does this action, she is scratching an itch. She sometimes does this simply because it feels good.

Sniff - This is her way to say hello!

Show Affection - If she nuzzles you, this is her way of saying she likes you and wants to be friends. If she does this repeatedly she likes/loves you a lot!

Hop - If she's hopping around randomly, or even running and leaping about, she is feeling playful. She may do this to express happiness, or boredom, depending on her pattern. Going in circles shows boredom, hopping about shows happiness, and running, leaping, and hopping in a way that involves following or staying close to other deers shows that she is playful.

Amazement - This one pretty much speaks for itself. She is clearly amazed by whatever it is that has her interest.

Respect - If she bows, she is giving you a more formal greeting. If she bows after playing and interacting with you for some time, then she is saying goodbye.

Confusion - Doing this action indicates she is quite confused.

Roll on Floor Laughing - If she does this then she is laughing. If she does this for no apparent reason, she is simply rolling in the grass/dirt.

Sadness + Lie Down - If she does this, then she is probably feeling lonely. It might be best to cuddle (Lie down next to her) in order to cheer her up.

Stand on Hind Legs + Anger - She may do this to deer that are mean to her, or persistantly annoying her. If she does this then she is telling them to leave her alone/go away.

Fear - If she slowly walks toward you, or you approach her and she does this action, she is expressing her shyness. She may do this quite often around strangers or in large herds, as crowds and unfamiliar deer scare her.

Scratch the Ground - She may do this next to a sleeping deer as a way to nudge them. This is how she says "Are you sleeping?" or "Wake up." She may also do this if you're laying down ignoring her.

Roar + Scratch the Ground - If she does this, she is calling you to follow her, and to interact with whatever it is that she's pawing at. Perhaps she wants magic cast on her? Or simply wishes to show you something?

Run away + Roar - If she runs from you and then roars, she wants you to follow her. Maybe she wants to race, or play a game of tag or hide-and-seek. She may simply just enjoy your company and wish to romp with you!

Stand on Hind Legs - If she does this, then she is excited. If she runs away after doing this action then she wants to play and/or explore. She may do this in a playful gesture, and running away afterward may mean she's saying, "Chase me!"

Sniff + Shake Head Yes - If she does this action, then she is saying she recognizes/remembers you from before.

Sniff + Shake head No - If she does this action, she is saying that she doesn't know/remember you.

Shake head No + Fear - If you show agression toward her, or are too affectionate too fast, she'll do this as a sign of fear or shyness. It often translates to"Please stop that..."

Prancing around - If she is constantly prancing around, in a way that looks similar to pacing, then she is feeling very anxious.

Go behind deer + Fear - If she is cowering behind you, then she is scared or shy and wants you to protect her. She may need comforting or coaxing thereafter. Perhaps snuggling her, or giving a reassuring nod will calm her.
