Personal Info
Body:
- The holy magic the Gods' allow the deer to pray for can
burn Aniu like acid. Since his soul is connected to hell;
pure magic is deadly for the demon stag. - His demon half enhances speed and strength - allowing
him to challenge larger foes. - Quick fur growth, even scars are not visible - except for
a scar in the center of his underbelly; it is a seal that
prevents his demonic soul from taking over Aniu's body
and mind. - Aniu's antlers may look breakable, but hidden veins
inside them pulse some kind of deflecting energy when
fighting. - His size and body structure is of a "TEF" deer (#2)
- Eyes are sensitive to the night and somewhat fog; can
see a little better than an average deer. - Unlike most deer, his body is able to withstand a harsh
amount of heat and still be at normal temperature (104
degrees in the Fahrenheit scale), but is more sensitive
to the cold. - Aged quickly until Aniu hit adulthood, then it suddenly
stopped, but his mind development is still immature. - Chubby, not quite sure about his weight.
- Eyes are like a humans, but when angry, the natural red
in Aniu's irises can spread throughout the whites of his
eyes. - Body can resist most mild poisons.
Facts/Personality:
- Considerate.
- Proud.
- Helpful.
- Passionate.
- Loyal.
- Forgiving.
- Caring.
- Self-concious.
- A little childish.
- A touch selfish.
- Rarely swears unless Aniu is in shock or is extremely
mad. Tries to control this around the kids. - Fawn magnet, seriously; he's always got one to four of
them hanging around. Grateful for quiet days. - Aniu has moments where he could be standing still and
then all of a sudden run around in a hyper fit. This usually
happens when in a good mood or there's too much tension
in the air. - Can somewhat become attached to a deer whose been
kind to him at first meeting. However, past conflicts had
proven to have made Aniu less welcoming. - Cannot handle stressful situations very well; he has a
very unstable mind that could possibly make him do weird
things when pushed too far. And stutters.. a lot. - Prefers to where his Orca mask when walking around open
fields and other public places; helps with his phobia and
confidence. - Bystander during unknown conflicts, even if the deer in the
area are in danger - doesn't think it's worth getting injured
over someone you don't know. However, usually gives in
if it's a fawn in trouble. - Not very patient, but Aniu tries to busy himself so he
won't go insane while waiting. - Doesn't understand females very well; especially when
they gush over another male or some.. girly thing. - Fiercely protective of close friends and family.
- Playful and full of energy when with others, lazy when
alone. - Has the skill to toy with the magics of The Endless
Forest, but Aniu has chosen to ignore this gift; he wants
to live life being normal as possible. - Aniu is quite a positive guy; he tries to look around a
bad situation instead of giving up, and tries to spread the
positive energy (but has proven to be really difficult).
However, even a happy guy like Aniu has his moments
where depression takes over his heart. - Aniu has a very proud nature, he doesn't accept defeats
very well, but doesn't mind faking defeat for the kids. Finds
their reactions adorable. - There are times when he's feeling good and a little more
brave, so he will randomly visit lone deer to see if they want company. Or if Aniu is already with someone; he will invite
a deer over. - Aniu is polite and well mannered.
- Socially awkward- tends to just stand there, trying really
hard to think of something to talk about or an activity to do. - Can become easily overwhelmed if too many things are
happening at once; will most likely try to leave the spot. - Has a habit of circling a few times before settling down to
sit or sleep (usually prefers to restrain himself from doing
that in front of others).
Likes:
- Lot's and lot's of cuddles!
- Loves to rest in the Old Oak because it blocks the light,
more peaceful sleeps. Also feels security inside the enclosed
space. - Training; gives Aniu a thrill to play rough- especially if
it's with his mother, Ravus. He also thinks it's important to
be prepared for anything. - Exploring and investigating anything unusual.
- Loves to romp.
- Likes to whine and rant a lot about simple things, but
also does his best to prevent himself from talking an ear full. - Swimming has been Aniu's passion since he was a fawn.
Loves the feel of freedom when he floats around the surface.
However, since he developed a sensitivity to the cold; he can
never fully enjoy it like Aniu used to. - Summer. Adores the heat.
- Bunnies; they're so full of love! Used to snuggle under
Big Bunny's belly all the time as a fawn, but now Aniu has
grown too big. Instead; he now stands over bunnies
affectionately and protectively (and cuddly). - When frustrated or angry, a run around The Endless
Forest usually helps to use up his excess energy and think
more rationally. - Playing with fawns or nameless; really helps with
boredom and figured they'd appreciate the interaction.
Dislikes:
- When others put flowers on his head; thinks it looks
girly and a chore to shake them off his antlers. - Strangers running up to him without warning; startles
him. - Rarely will you see Aniu sitting in an open field by
himself; it makes him paranoid because Aniu can not see
what's happening behind him. Aniu does not mind it when
with someone else, however. - Once enjoyed being a leader, but now he see's himself as
more of a follower. Being in the centre of attention really
makes Aniu nervous, so dislikes the attention. - Rain.
- Any disrespect towards his friends or family- usually
goes to great lengths to protect them. - The Ruins- finds the place eerie; something that's not
right about the atmosphere. There is a force there that
reflects fear in Aniu's mind. - Drama.
- When girls cry; doesn't know what to do, ends up
panicking to figure out how to make them stop. - Loud, noisy deer who moo pointlessly and constantly.
- Winter.
- Having his personal space invaded- obviously depending
on who it is. - Being bullied by a stronger male, or especially a female.
- Being surrounded by many deer; causes anxiety.
Deepest fears:
- Losing his loved ones.
- The Gods' white magic.
- Any dark bird, for he was attacked by one more than once
as a fawn. - Mild case of agoraphobia - fear of open spaces.
- Terrified of losing control of himself.
Family/Mate:
Father; Satan's minion that was granted permission
to roam the earth - impregnating females of all species
to breed an army of hell soldiers. Never knew his name,
and doesn't know a thing about the male, but if Aniu ever
found out; he would surely hunt that vermin down and kill
that bastard for making Aniu born the way he is.
Mother; Another parent Aniu knows absolutely nothing
about. The only thing he was aware of, was that she was
one of those victims that got impregnated by Satan's minion.
When Aniu was born; she was enraged and attempted to kill
him, but was stopped by Awk and scared away.
Awk; A middle aged Egyptian man whose a slave working
for the Pharaoh. It was night when he saw Aniu's mother
crouching over him; readying her hooves to strike his
head when Awk ran up - swinging a pickaxe wildly at the
female. Startled, Aniu's mother fled, never looking back.
Ever since then, Awk took Aniu in secretly, managing to
sneak him into his poorly constructed hut - whispering to
the fawn to be good and quiet while he worked and stay
out of sight. Aniu blinked, somehow understanding.
Although at first Awk was disturbed by a human faced
deer, it didn't stop him from studying the newborn fawn.
It was then their friendship clicked. Bringing them closer
each day they spent together. One day was gifted a
black mask that had been in his family for generations.
Since Awk had no other family left; he decided to allow Aniu
to have it. Besides, it seemed the man had adopted the
boy as one of his own.
When the black fawn grew; his legs strengthened with him,
and when Awk was confident that Aniu was strong enough to
avoid getting hurt - he let the fawn out of the hut for the first
time in days. The sun was not merciful in the area they lived
in. Little food, and rarely a drop of water to drink. The poor
slaves spend days suffering of thirst and weight loss.
Aniu watched from the shadows as the Pharaoh's guard
whipped and cussed at a struggling slave that was too weak
to pull a cart filled with stone. When the slave fell one more
time; he was taken away to some unknown place. Was all of
this really necessary? Aniu wondered.
That night he returned to Awk's hut unseen, but famished and
Awk had little to offer to feed himself let alone a fawn as well.
Aniu's kind heart forced him out the next day to steal from the
rich - managing to escape with a few scraps of cooked meat
and vegetables. Awk did not disapprove or lecture the boy for
stealing, he was in fact, grateful.
However, in the early morning; the Pharaoh's guards burst
into Awk's hut - screaming at them that they were thieves.
Apparently one of the Pharaoh's rich sons did actually spot
Aniu stealing food that night while the he and his men were
transporting goods home.
It all happened in seconds. Awk barged through the wall of
guards while he had Aniu held in one arm. The middle aged
man shouted for Aniu to go on ahead while he distracted the
guards long enough for the fawn to escape. The child let out
a bleat of sadness, but instinct forced Aniu's legs forward -
racing into the unending land of sand.
He ran and ran, for what his small legs could carry him, but
Aniu could see that the guards were not far behind - yelling
and waving their weapons at him. While the fawn looked back;
he did not noticed the rock hidden beneath the gold sand and
tripped, falling face first onto the ground.
With all the desperation swelling in his heart; he cried out
for a way out of here.
Just like that; Aniu was swallowed up by the hot sand - feeling
it choking and suffocating him. When the fawn thought he
was going to die, the sand suddenly disappeared and was
replaced by lush greens and a cool, gentle breeze. Deer
buzzed around busily - making Aniu hide in a bush in fear.
What had happened to him? Where was he? Awk? Where is he?
Is he okay? Aniu bleated, but Awk did not come for him like he
usually did.
No. No.. he was all alone now.
Ravus and Geisha; Aniu was just a few months old when he
found these two ladies. It took only one night for the young
boy to grow an emotional attachment to these two does. They
are now his adoptive parents. Aniu cherishes every moment he
gets with Geisha and Ravus; loves them endlessly and is very
protective of them.
Mire; Adopted brother. Aniu had spent hours trying to decide
how to view Mire, but suddenly came to a decision that he did
not want to get involved. Aniu had found himself feeling
comfortable that Mire did not know him or recognized him, so he
plans to keep it that way. Within hidden distance; Aniu watches
over Mire from time to time- to make sure he's okay, however
Aniu finds it unnecessary seeing that the boy has so many
friends and family watching over him.
Moon; Mate. This doe has saved Aniu from himself more than once;
he feels as though he owes her his life. The time spent with this doe
has developed feelings inside Aniu's heart- even though Aniu had
promised Cedrelÿa that they would be together once he turned a
year old. The guilt was overwhelming and Aniu is determined to
tell Cedrelÿa the truth, though has yet to speak with her still.
It was dark in The Endless Forest when Aniu fully confessed his
feelings for Moon and was overjoyed when the blue doe accepted
his love. The moment was a bit awkward with shyness, but Aniu
gave Moon his first kiss and his heart that night.
Ziara; Moon's daughter. Aniu and Moon have come to understand
how much Ziara meant to Khard, thus allowed him to father Ziara
in order to stop his unending depression. Aniu will, of course,
continue to love and care for her with or without the promise he
made to Moon.
Kaya; Close friend, met through Moon. Saved her from poisonous
flowers when he and Moon were on their adventure. Thanks to
Aniu's demon blood; he was able to resist enough of the poison
to free Kaya and move her away from the area. It was a close
call, but Aniu is very happy that the doe recovered and is healthy
now. Considers her a joy to have around and an awesome friend.

Aniu can go if he wants. Forgive me again.
It's okay. Aniu is just wary
Honestly, I too afraid. just
just now I can not move. Internet speed is small.
Not a problem, but don't be
The rooster-doe eyes her son
Still, the limp is a source of parental concern.
"Can we talk about this leg of yours, Aniu?"
The buck looks down at the
He chose he words carefully; hoping that his mother would understand.
"Mama," He began, "right now... I don't want to dwell in the past. I am trying, very hard, to stay cheerful. I wont let life drag me down- not for long. Trust me, okay?"
Ravus lowers her head,
"Sparring lessons, then," she muses after a few quiet moments pass. "Once your battle wounds," she lowers her head and touches the nose of her mask to the small buck's shoulder, "stop giving you grief." Ravus nods her head knowingly and raises it, confident in her son's eventual prowess. Then throws him a sideways glance and grins playfully, hoping to get him to smile. "Where'd you bury the loser?"
Watches his mother thinking
Sometimes he missed his old friend, Awk. Aniu wished he could speak with him one more time; he wanted to know if he was still alive.
What could the guards be doing to him?
Aniu shook his head roughly- returning to reality as he hears his mother speaking suddenly.
"Really, mama? You would teach me how to defend myself?" He sounded excited and immediately started wishing his leg would heal faster.
Frowned when she mention his attacker,
"He.. or she is still alive; I don't think I did much damage with only using my hooves."
(Sorry for the late response!
:
) )"Of course, Aniu." The large white deer smiles, but her mysterious son's far-off look did not go unnoticed. She leans a little closer and rests a heavy head upon a long forelimb, getting comfortable, as she wants to give Aniu plenty of time to rest up his leg. When Ani reports on the status of his attacker, Ravus's smile widens and she thinks two things--one, so there had been an attacker after all, and two, that the black buck was strangely serious for a deer his age. It was sweet and endearing, but saddening, at times. It made her wonder, not for the first time, what his life had been like before they found him. Before he found them.
"What's on your mind, son?"
Aniu rubbed his cheek against
His mother's question took a bit to register as he was so deep in thought.
"Mama," He swallowed a little too loudly, "you know I'm not an ordinary deer."
It wasn't the question he wanted to ask, but he couldn't bring himself to speak more.
Her head lifted at that. Yes,
But she doesn't say that to him, he's always such a tense little thing and Ravus thinks he could really do with some more self-esteem, among other things. Instead she gives another brazen smile and tilts her head questioningly at the little deer: why, no, she's never noticed anything strange about him! She wants him to be in control of what he has to say to her, and how much.
"What do you mean, Ani?" She asked quietly, moving her body to form a protective barrier around her son before she lowers her head back to the ground nonchalantly.
He didn't like talking about
"I am.. a sin."
However, he was grateful to that Egyptian man. Awk; the one who saved his life before Aniu was almost struck dead. Awk was like a father to the buck- even if he was a completely different species. Aniu also missed the human children he would so often play with.
Aniu shook his head roughly, meeting his mother's curious gaze and tried so hard to tell her with his eyes that he was just not ready to explain.
There it was. Although Ravus
"You're a blessing," She asserts, nonetheless, frowning. A surge of protectiveness wells up inside her, she wants to know who had told her son this, where he had learned it. More than, though, she wants to reassure Aniu that the words mean nothing, and from here on out she will try to make them seem less and less. She can from the look in his eyes that this is what he needs most. "--and that's all there is to it."
Ravus leans forward to gently push against Aniu's head with her chin, the part of her face that her mask left uncovered, pressed against the young buck's newly formed 'antlers' for a moment. "Rest, Aniu. Whatever happened to you before, it brought you to us. I'm very, very grateful that we can protect you now. You're precious to the Geisha and to myself, and we will try to never let anything bad come to you."
Aniu could feel the tears
He wished his mama Geisha was here as well, then this moment would be perfect.
Aniu curled up into a ball against his mother's tummy; resting his chin on the ground. He suddenly felt very tired- like this whole conversation zapped what energy he had left.
"..Thank you, mama." He mumbled sleepily.
