Pacifist after several emotionally and mentally toiling years of violence and war.
War veteran; fought in a civil war that tore her homeland in two for over 10 years, once a shock trooper and military general.
Her pacifism will not stop her from protecting others when she deems it is necessary, but she no longer finds any part of battle glorious or fulfilling. Finds it hard to let go of her past warmongering lifestyle - she occasionally will take mercenary contracts in exchange for coin or goods to sate a
hidden bloodlust.
The scent of (dragon) blood, fighting for extended periods, and being nearly fatally injured in battle sends her into a fury where Riinah's end goal in the fight is to kill her opponent as brutally as possible even if she dies in the process. Similar to the Berserkers / bear-warriors of Old Norse cultures, but highly influenced by her dragon souls. Froths at the mouth and loses control of her body, acting solely on instinct, experiencing lockjaw.
May become increasingly volatile in this state, able to tap into her dragonblood to call forth fire in her palms, embers falling from her mouth and eyes burning like coals. Greatly drains her magicka and she's almost always certain to pass out afterwards, if not die.
Out of the forest, she may enter this state under certain circumstances but she'll be able to manifest her Dragon Aspect physically, gaining the ability to glide with wings, etc; she may also tend to expel most of her magicka as she shifts from her humanoid to whatever animal form she takes to fight.
Riinah returns to the Forest from time to time to rest and recuperate from intense social expectations and whatever physical scuffles she gets in, the realm becoming some sort of a pocket haven to her. As a result her physical state fluctuates from time to time if she escaped into the Forest after a fight.
Entirely self-sufficient, her skills being developed over the years of travelling alone in the harsh world of Skyrim. Avoided hiring a mercenary to follow her around in order to escape the possibility of taking the responsibility of their death. Could not and still can not take this responsibility - it would undo her completely.
The life expectency in Skyrim is generally short and in return, it is common for couples to marry quickly, without room for long courtship. Riinah has never been interested in marriage and feels that she would not be able to provide enough energy into raising a child, so all relationships that she's been in have been short, mostly one-night stands. Afraid of falling in love as she feels that she would not be able to reciprocate or show her love clearly, and knows that her lover would become a target for assassination if any ill-willed persons observed them or rumors spread.
Opening up to others both emotionally and in conversation is something that is extremely difficult for her. Riinah builds trust very slowly, and fully trusts virtually no one. She is more likely to stick to herself than try and approach strangers, mostly born out of fear of .
Not entirely antisocial, but is solitairy. A bit awkward. Speaks little, and prefers silence.
Prefers to be alone than with others. She will not reject company, though.
Heavy sleeper.
Combat; Passive. She generally will not engage in physical violence unless she deems it necessary or she is forced to. Despite her attempts to live a pacifist lifestyle, she is unable to and will not stand idly by while another is being wrongfully attacked or targeted. Does not fight to kill, only to deter and chase away.
Uses horns to charge and gouge. Lithe and airy movements. Claws are about 3.5 inches long. Teeth are serrated and sharp, similar to dog teeth in anatomy and placement in the mouth but are much longer - canines are 5 inches long with deep-set roots. The spines at the end of her tail are razor sharp and can be used like a spear or whip.
Skin is thick like leather. Scales are hardened, and hard to penetrate, unless they are forcefully ripped off, in which case her skin is very thin. Scales will grow back eventually if the damage done isn't too severe/deep, or is just localized to one specific area.
