Hearth Closed-off, Bitter, Resentful, Fierce, Inaudible, Reticent, Agitated, Ignorant, Blissful, Arrogant, Pitiful, Pathetic, Hypersensitive, Apprehensive, Clever, Troubled, Wounded, Heartfelt, Cordial, Selfish, Honest, Genuine, Broken, Emotional. • His attitude teeters frequently. At one moment he could be in a content frame of mind and the next he can just snap even at creatures in the wrong place at the wrong time. • His skin was burned once he tried to speak and pray to the forest Gods. Unsure if it was a punishment or his higher angel ranking hadn't been mended to the new forest magic. Maybe his magic was interfering? Unknown. However, will not go near the statues. • Unconditional love for all children. Due to the first loss of his daughter, he feels the draw to protect all the little ones. Built from regret. • Owns awful trust issues and sees most people as curs. Does not tolerate cynic characters and will not associate himself with foolish beings. • Sees himself as an ugly beast. Has learned that the dead also live within the forest. Either it be lost souls, demons or angels. Worried he may scare or hurt Mae. This is his worst fear. • Treats women and men the same. However if someone is disadvantaged or hurt he won't be so easily hassled. • Forest conflict and drama within the forest is non of his business. More of an observer than a fighter. Careless and selfish in this way and won't just jump into a fight. However there are exceptions. • Protects his loved ones with his life and will only go into battle if he must. More of a verbal fighter and uses his eyes to bury darkness into someones soul (unaware of this black magic). • Absolutely will not tolerate unknown beings around his closest chargers. • Sensitive and heartfelt to anyone that is going through a tough situation. However he won't open his heart to just anyone. • Extreme Agoraphobia. • The light is being surfaced with help. Eloa has taken quite an impact on the bull and is really aiding in finding his true nature. • Worried that one day his demon will take over and attempt to murder his loved ones in cold blood. He already reminded Eloa of this possibility and feels more comfortable with her knowing. Although he knows it is a large possibility and he doesn't wish to think about it. | Links & Possessions Mae: Daughter. Resurrected in a new body form with the help of Eloa and her friend. Will do anything and everything in his power to keep her happy. Loves every single last bit of her. So incredibly grateful to have her back in his life and will do absolutely everything in his power and beyond to keep her by his side. Losing her is his only fear and will not let that happen. Will burn buildings and kill for. Eloa: Angel. His first encounter in the forest. She eased his pain after he discovered that she too was a fallen angel. One of his most trusted and will always allow her to see him and his daughter. Enjoys every minute she is around and adores her lovely bright soul. Eases his darkness as she is around and is deeply grateful for this. Will wait for and protect. Close friend. Jehoel: Jokester. Flaming creature he encountered in the forest. Bitter towards as far as his sense of humor but does not mind his company. Nilo: Helped bring back his daughter. Would thank one hundred times for his help. Although, finds the buck quite strange but unsure really what it is about him. Wary of, but his company is welcome. Necklace with orb infused with white magic - Eloa | Diabolism & White Magic This will be updated frequently: Black magic: ||||||||||: Able to use: Thought determination (very weak) This is a strong power Voltaire once mastered in his demonic period. His use of witchcraft was his first choice of weapon during any form of battle. It requires a dark aura and is obtained by shadow-inducing mechanism. It is harder on the soul of an angel and takes quite a large amount of effort to use the higher casting spells and diabolism. With that being said it could physically hurt to serious extents. Although it may not be fatal to him, it is still not a risk worth taking. His black magic includes: Mind manipulation, this means Voltaire is able to fill the mind with a false thought. This takes a fair amount of concentration and will only be used in serious situations. Thought determination, very vague currently and is unaware of it. This is similar to "mind reading" but it is a lower rank and takes much less concentration. It is the act of looking into the eyes through the tip of the mind to receive unanswered suspicion or hidden context. Spells and rituals along with chanting are medium experience but are used in multiple ways. Overuse of these could result in serious fatigue. Summoning or resurrection of a soul with dark energy requires a full bar of experience. Over powering souls could be fatal to Voltaire but minimum reaction is fainting/collapsing. + White magic: ||||||||||: Able to use: Angelic aura. Description here |

Eloa had returned from her
"Voltaire?"
The forest was quiet today.
He stretched his achy frame and cracked his neck like a brittle twig. Once his limbs were not longer jarred he started toward the call.
There he saw her standing in the vivid sunlight, he hadn't seen her in a few days and it was nice to see her once again. He noticed something different about her, a slight darkness in her tone caught his eye. He solely brushed it off his shoulder for now and stored it in the back of his mind. The brute then presented her a half grin as he began to walk slowly toward her.
"Ah Eloa, it is great to see you." He said quietly.
She turned towards him with a
She was glad to see he was alright. For a moment there the doe had worried that something bad had happened when she couldn't find him at first. Her eyes glanced at his wounds, they seemed to be healing if a bit slowly. Her bright gold eyes darted from his wounds to his face then his antlers then back as she waited for his response.
He flinched as she nuzzled
He nodded at her suggestion and bent over, avoiding her small body so he didn't poke her with his sharp tines.
She moved between his tines,

His inner demon was still fighting him, however. With such a strong darkness living inside him, it was difficult for him to really show his true self on a regular basis. It terrified him because if the demon ever took over one day he would show no mercy and the buck could quite possibly hurt someone he cares about. Like Eloa. He didn't like to think about it so he pushed the thoughts away.
"You don't have to thank me
"How have you been? Do you need me to calm your pain again?" she asked wanting to do as much as she could to make the other feel welcome here.
"I have been washing at the
"Oh, the fawns. Must you check on them?" He asked turning to look at her with curiosity and concern. Although he had never actually met the little fawns, he just felt a strange pull to make sure they were safe. He had always been a softy towards children and he enjoyed being around them. He knew Eloa would make a great mother figure but it was just a piece of his personality to make all those who are small and incapable of fighting for themselves safe.
Game is super laggy so I'm

"They are fine don't worry" she smiled and moved to sit with him near the logs.
Didn't even notice until now!
---
He nodded in agreement and settled himself down comfortably within the soft grasses that grew between them. He pressed against one side of the bark so she had enough room to sit next to him. "How did you make this charm?" He asked once everyone was settled. Eloa did still have some angelic magic that she had mastered in order to create such a thing, but he also was unsure as to where she was because he didn't see or sense her within this forest. His curiosity was getting the best of him.
Thats fine, my game is being

She got comfy sitting beside him before answering. "I aided another in making a charm for one of the fawns who was having nightmares." she began. "In the making of it I opened a gate to a new magic that has been available to me through the forest gods. I have others..I feel it but I cannot access them." she said with a smile. It was black magic yes but to her it was not bad. Only how one chose to use it made the magic bad but she did not want him to see her in a different light. She was still her despite the use of such magic. "This was just another example of me using that magic"
He looked off beyond the
It was dangerous. At this stage of his life, obtaining any black magic at all would be a death trap. It would be live bait for his inner shadow. He would probably use it to his advantage to hurt souls. He didn't think of it now; he thought about the white magic as a gift and a way to do things as they used to be. But without a doubt he knew once he master the white magic... the black magic would be next. Now the uncomfortable thought set in again... hurting those around him, the innocent ones. His face dropped with concern as he spoke up to Eloa, confessing his discomfort. "I can't obtain it though Eloa... not now it wouldn't be safe." Voltaire said quietly.
She tilted her head and a
He closed his eyes tightly
He looked down and watched the earth as if it was suppose to say something, but finally the buck fessed up and turned to her. "Myself." Voltaire said without much emotion at all. His face was pained and blank aside from a frustrated crease of his brow bone. "I don't know what I am capable of. " He whispered, breaking the eye contact. "I don't even know who I am anymore. I'm surprised I still remember everything that I saw and did." He said with tears in his eyes, forcefully blinking them away.
She stood up, able to reach
She was worried for him. He was a kind friend, and that same fear of loss crept into her heart. She'd only known him two days but already she had bonded with him. Bonding was not the hard part for her to do. She had not yet felt separation from another and she hoped and prayed she would never have to. It was why she fought so hard for her friends in their times of trouble. She would never let them go as long as she could. Even if he were to harm her she would not blame him. In fact it would only fuel her desire to help him.
His expression mended into a
Finally he opened his mouth, his voice was raspy and fragile. "I want to be able to get rid of this darkness." He said as his lip twitched. "I... I just wish I did things differently." It was true, most of his darkness was created by himself. He let the demons in without much care. But he looked up, his gaze was bold and unbroken as he stared beyond the boney trees. "But you're right... I have to keep my head up. The heavenly aura is much stronger than the darkness. I'm not letting Them win again." He said, his voice stronger and more inclined.
"And" she nudged him gently
He looked at her and grinned
But instead of speaking up, he nodded his head and drew a fake smile on his face. He looked away and released another sigh and watched two silhouettes of little fawns spar and romp around playfully in the distance. He couldn't help but chuckle slightly as they tripped over themselves and laughed together. Moments later a large buck joined the two fawns in there horseplay. Voltaire's expression remained the same but he felt the jealousy blooming within his chest. He let silence fill the air until he obtained the courage to speak. His voice was hoarse and almost a whisper. "I used to have a daughter..." Voltaire said.
She had watched him with
He took a deep breath before
Finally he looked over to Eloa who had been curiously waiting for a reply. "Much like you..." he said with a small grin. "So gentle, curious, and pretty." Voltaire looked away from a moment, the words in his mouth growing stale as it was hard to speak them. "Her name was Maggie." His voice broke at the tail end of her name. Saying it was like a thousand blows to the chest from sharp knives, her name carried so much weight and it hurt him.
"Maggie" she said softly. It

I won't do anything without your consent of course haha. But if you want either of those to work just let me know OUO. Using her own magic could take close to 6 months to a full year our time but the gods could happen whenever you like.

He wasn't sure what he would do if that happened. If it ever happened, things would be different... would his daughter recognize him? She was very young when she died so would she still be the little girl he remembered? Would she remember her dad? He had so many questions and doubts it hurt his stomach. He shook his head. "... Sorry Eloa, this is just... so much. I want to see her so badly. I would die a million times to see her face again." Voltaire said as his eyes met hers once he took a deep breath.
(I'm cool with anything :^) I think it would be cool if he saw Maggie again. It might help him move on a little.)
(So maybe a little bit in the
And actually this plot with bringing his daughter back could easily open up her green magic too OUO. So it'd be neat.

She smiled and moved to nuzzle him "It is ok.." she kept her voice soft and sweet. "Don't apologize at all..you feel pain and loss, I can sense it" she said feeling her own heart twist and break at the feeling. A feeling she felt many times with others she knew. "I will try my best to bring her here..and it would be her soul as well as a body" she added to reassure him that he'd have his daughter. She'd even try her best to bring the girl's memory along as well though souls seemed to retain such things regardless of age.
(Totally game for it. ^^ Ni
(Ok! do you have an email I
He took another huff of the cool forest air. He watched her golden engulfed eyes before wrapping his head over her to give her a thankful hug. Every single detail Eloa has taken to reassure the buck that everything was going to be okay was... unbelievable. It made his heart warmer than it usually was. He used to have a lump of frozen blood shredding his chest each beat, but now that she was here, it was warming up to produce soft and meaningful thuds. "Thank you, Eloa. Even just the thought means more than you think to me. I forgot what it was like to feel this... relief again." He said with a softer tone.

She hugged him back by resting her head on his shoulder. She could sense the darkness lifting even a little and it was this feeling that made her determined to go through with this and bring back his daughter for him. To make sure that hope and joy NEVER vanished ever. "It won't just be a thought..I promise you, I will find a way to bring her here to you" she said nuzzling his shoulder.

He felt the breeze pick up and the wind brought an ease to his tense muscles. His eyes were more relaxed and his expression was calm, only a simple smile was drawn to his face.
He too felt that this shadow buried within his soul was seeping out between the cracks, it was still going to be a long and wild ride but he had his hope slowly restoring that maybe... not everything was a punishment. Maybe this was where he was to begin a new life.
"Eloa, is there anything... anything at all I can do for you?" The male asked with questioning eyes, hoping that maybe for once he could do something to help. She didn't look too troubled, but everyone has a story. Everyone does need a hand to guide them the way or just simply show them.
