• Leod's interest in leaving the forest has spiked tremendously. He first met with Lalitha near the crying idol and discovered that it might actually be worth trying to go through a portal to escape what he feels like are shackles; the forest hadn't treated him kindly. He knew of several downsides. One was the general peace of his home; he might be trading it out for something wild that he'd never be able to back out of. Another was whether or not he was even capable of leaving at all, as he had an awful experience while trying to leave in the distant past. Lalitha's playful kindness persuaded the stag that the adventure was worth it. After chatting with her for some time, he trotted off to think. More time to ponder. The mind is like a birdcage of thoughts. Leod is intent on setting those thoughts free and seeing them soar.
• He wandered about and something novel caught his attention. He'd run into a buck with half a face, and decided to speak with him even though he was genuinely startled. Some quaint conversation led to the two exchanging the fact that they both ate deer meat. This revealed a common ground for the two to stand on. It was mutually comforting to feel less monstrous for their respective diets. Leod asked for a haunch of hunted meat to be saved for him after a good hunt, if the two where to seek each other out again.
• Felt drawn to The Cacodaemon's energy that evening; his blood stirred and let him know of a dark presence nearby. With neck hairs prickled, Leod managed to keep it together and approach the beast. He asked several smart-tongued questions. Leod maintained his readiness to bolt if chased; he was actually spared the hassle anyhow and continued on. He resolved to meet with the entity again to discover what powers he could awaken by being near it. Shook himself off after he left, as his demonic powers began to make him feel jittery and aggressive in a way he couldn't possibly accept. He has no idea what 'gifts' his father left him with.
