And well im still kinda mad but I cant change his opinion. Robby asked me to be his gf I agreed but mom does not know. After all he lives in Florida so its a slow moving relationship. Dance was canceled tonight because of the weather( snow plus wind chill of -16) Yeah not to pleasant. I miss my brother dearly I often wish he was here to give advice and to just knw his opinion but i guess that wont happen .

Honestly I think hes on crack.LOL I wish there was a filter like that. Yes we call each other weve talked quiet a bit actually. We refer to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. But to be honest the age difference makes me wonder if this is right after all hes 14 and im 15. Well hes kinda a gun and knife collector or so Ive found out IIdont know I guess im just nervous cause hes my first boyfriend and I dont now exactly how this is suppposed to work especially since he lives in Florida.Its interesting to have a boyfriend to say the least, Aside from being apart the only other hing is I have not told my mom or anybody except my bestfriend who is his cousin.
Hmm that is complicated. I guess the first thought that comes to mind is that there's no harm in getting to know somebody. But I think the hard thing about dating in high school is that it's all new, so there's kind of this questioning of "what does it mean to be boyfriend and girlfriend?" It's extra complicated when you live far apart and haven't met in person. (hahahaha, a lot can be revealed in person that you miss over the phone!) But I don't say that to discourage you, just to have you alert.
To me, when you commit to being boyfriend and girlfriend, you commit to getting to know one another intentionally because you're basically discerning--even though it's far down the road--whether this is someone God wants you to spend the rest of your life with. There's a bit more to it than that, but in a nutshell, that's about it.
Some things that I like to think and pray about when I'm considering where a relationship should go(and I really do mean pray, God gives the best advice):
1) What do you have in common?
2) What kind of woman do you want to be/do you think God wants you to be? What are your goals, dreams, aspirations? Is he helping you to become that woman?
3) How do you feel when you finish talking? Excited, encouraged, confused, sad, etc?
4) Does he share the same standards of purity? (kinda goes with question 2)
5) What are you looking for in a guy? Does he have those qualities? Does anything about him make you nervous to be in a relationship with him?
There's no reason why you two can't spend time getting to know each other and laugh and support one another, but I'd also stress that you are in a vulnerable place right now and a new relationship can be fun and exciting, but you should take it slowly, as it sounds like you are doing. Guard your heart, because it is preciuos.

Well, it sounds like you're being pretty smart about all this. You'll both be changing a LOT in the next few years, too, keep that in mind. I'm glad you have a new and exciting gift!
Truly, most relationships, don't "last" (hopefully, they turn into friendships rather than complete break-ups), and that's how it's supposed to be! Otherwise, we'd all end up married to a bunch of different people! But, when you do it right, you learn a lot from relationships that prepare you for the relationship that IS meant to last, so enjoy this time! Keep asking those questions as you get to know each other, and if it progresses and lasts a long time, great! If not, it might sting a bit, but you'll also have gained wisdom and understanding for the next time, not to mention some good memories.
