Character Interaction Blog (Closed for now)

This blog is a place where you can role-play with several of my characters either via your own characters, or as yourself.
Feel free to ask them questions or any other sort of content you can think of.
If you would like to request an un-listed character for interaction, feel free to do so.

{UPDATE: RP and interactions are closed for now, I'll update this blog again when they reopen.}

Available Characters:

Lynnett:
A human girl of 17, an aspiring Victorian Lady with dreams of adventure and a deep love of literature.

Setting/Intro:
The year is 1850 and life in London is as loud and bustling as ever. The atmosphere of the library however is quiet and thoughtful, scholars and other educated folk move about the shelves. One young lady in a bright sky blue dress is on her way back to her seat, arms laden with poetry and other classics.

Line:
A rather odd doe who, while being quite polite and kind, doesn't seem to be 'all there'.

Setting/Intro:
It is the warm heat of summer in The Forest today, and the poppy patch near The Ruins is a fine place to enjoy the pleasant scents and shade. A brown pelted doe sits nestled in amongst the red blooms, her head adorned with a garland of the same. She appears to be humming contently to herself, a tune like a mothers lullaby.

Sinker:
A malevolent spirit who haunts the collapsed basement of what is now The Ename Ruins, he spends his endless existence dreaming of a lost love.

Setting/Intro:
It drizzles miserably in The Forest this morning and mist lies thick around the pillars and gravestones of The Ruins. At it's heart is 'The Pit', but instead of the usually rocky bottom you think you see a small, newly collapsed opening at the base of the stairs. Will you investigate?

Notes:
I will assume each character is interacting in a one-on-one basis but if you would like to join an existing role-play, or you and a friend wish to role-play with the same character together, feel free, simply let me know.

The views and personalities of the characters here-in are their own, not mine. Be warned, especially if you chose to interact with Sinker, that he can be rude and is just generally not a nice fellow.

Please be patient when awaiting a response, it sometimes takes me a while to formulate something interesting to say.
Thank you.

He raised his eyebrows a bit.

He raised his eyebrows a bit. My, this lady was just full of surprises, wasn't she? Ordinarily he would have just told her to piss off, but he felt like answering questions, and this was an interesting one. "Hmm... well... It's rather hard to explain... You don't realize it just one morning, it's something that kinda gradually grows on you." he fumbled a little with the words, not really knowing how to describe it. "All women made me uneasy, it was just my reaction. With men I felt more... well..." he had a feeling that his face was starting to flush a bit, he hoped it wasn't. "It'd be nice if I could explain it to you, but I can't, y'know?"

Might I request Lynnett?

Faunet: Lynnett spotted what she had been looking for and clapped excitedly. Finally! She thought to herself, grabbing the book and taking it back to a nearby desk where she proceeded to bury her nose in its pages.

GingerNut: "I'm not sure, truly. My father was expecting to pick me up at the library, so I guess I had better head back. I don't think he would take my absence well.."

"Ah... Well it would royally

"Ah... Well it would royally suck if he saw me with ya. I guess I'll getgoing myself." he rather awkwardly turned and slunk his way into the crowd, completly obscuring him from view. It wasn't long before he was far away from the girl. "Well, I'll have to admit... she was a little annoying... but an okay sort I guess..." he thought to himself as he walked back above ground, letting himself get drenched with rain.

Faunet: Lynnett jumped and looked up at the man who had stumbled into her desk. "Ohmygoodness! Are you alright sir?"

GingerNut: Lynnett made her way back to the library, just in time to see her father's coach pulling up to the front doors. She hurriedly checked her dress for cinnamon bun crumbs and then greeted her father. On the coach ride home she thought about the odd character Jergens, who, really had turned out to be quite charming. She smiled to herself.

(Baw sorry, didn't know where else to go with it >_< I'm so glad I got to RP with Jergens, I've been following your story and I love his character!)

Faunet: Settling herself back into her chair, Lynnett picked up her book once more; which happened to be an anthology of poetry.

Faunet: Lynnett peeked over the top of her novel, just checking to see if the strange gentlemen was alright. Content that he seemed to be fine, she became absorbed in her poetry.

Outside the entrance of the

Outside the entrance of the majestic library; a jet black carriage, nearly as black as the four great beasts that pulled it, slowed to a halt. After the clacking of the horses hooves on the cut-stone streets had ceased, a figure emerges from the enclosed carriage.

A black feather hat trailed a black veil behind her, muting her pearl-white hair, which was curled up inside the hat. A long black dress fell to her feet and stretched up to the bottom of her jaw-line. Her gloved hands enclosed the silver top of a cane, the shape of a skull consealed and hidden by her grasp. Red lipstick, and an elegant nose peeked from under the hat which was tipped down enough to hide her eyes and forhead from view. She closes the door behind her, and the carriage walks off without any visable driver.

The woman tugs at her dress to walk up the stairs to the library. She greets the figure, who welcomes her, with a simple hum of her throat. The woman keeps her face concealed as she glides about the shelves near a young woman in a blue dress sitting at a desk. A pleasant wave of perfume follows the shady figure as she tips books from their places with her gloved hand, and then sets them back. After a moment her pale face turns in the direction of the young woman. She studies her for a moment, and a half-smile tugs at her bright crimson lips. She sits a few seats away, and sets her cane next to her, a rather thick book set in front of her.

(That was my introduction, your reply doesn't have to be nearly as long. :3)

He sighed almost falling

He sighed almost falling asleep

Celticmystress: Over the top

Celticmystress: Over the top of her book, Lynnett watched the sharply dressed lady scan the shelves. When she shot a look her way, Lynnett sheepishly hid behind her book. Once the curious visitor sat down, Lynnett chanced another peek over her own thick volume of poetry, curious as to what the mysterious lady had selected.

(and what a riveting intro it was hehe)

Faunet: Lynnett hummed to herself, occasionally peeking over her book at the odd man. How could one be bored when there are so many interesting books...seems silly to me, but I guess we all have our hobbies. She thought to herself.

The woman turns her gaze

The woman turns her gaze slowly to face the young woman once more. Her voice is hushed and low. "A work in progress," she motions to the thick book that she had brought with her, as she assumed nothing on the shelves would have taken her fancy. "By a friend of mine," she says again, leaning her black and silver cane against the desk. She places her right leg over her left, and moves the book over to the blond-haired girl. The black cover was blank, but the first page was printed in large letters. "Edgar Allan Poe" she smiles once more, her silver eyes flash under her dark hat. "What is your name?" she asks sitting as still as a statue, her voice like a winter's wind.

(Did a little reasearch, his works weren't published until after his death, especially in one book, he died not too soon after 1850, so he would have been nearly un-heard of.)

Celticmystress: Lynnett was

Celticmystress: Lynnett was impressed, to say the least. To know an actual published writer, or at least soon to be, from the sounds of it, how titillating! "Oh miss that is quite lucky of you, to get to read a manuscript before publication! I must say I've never heard of this Poe." Gently, and with more than a little reverence she takes the black tome in a white-gloved hand and gently flips through some pages. "My name is Lynnett, Lynnett Constance. Pleased to meet you." Her pleasant smile falters slightly as she reads some of the poetry from Poe. "My but..this is so...unique." Closing the book quickly, obviously not a fan, she hands it back to her companion. "I must say I don't tend to read the more...morbid works, but he does have obvious talent. I hope he does well for himself." Secretly Lynnett doubted there could be much demand for such depressed, all-together dreary poetry.

(Oh Lynnett, you bias little thing you lol. Her taste is so different than mine! xD)

(LOL!

(LOL! <3 I missed Lynnett. :3)

Bones watched the young woman carefully as she took up the book's pages one by one in her gentle fingers. She said nothing to the young woman named Lynnett for several moments. After seeing the hasty retreat from the text inside by the young woman, Bones smiled widely, which may have well have been the same reaction if Lynnett was absorbed in the literature-- but Bones seemed pleased with the child's reaction, or if not pleased, amused.
A silver-capped fang gleamed in the light for an instant before she reached up to her hat and gently removed it. Her long white hair falling passed her shoulders.

"Christine Walker," her low voice hummed through the room quietly. Reaching out with her own black gloved hand, to Lynnet's white gloved hand. Her grip was firm, but not harsh. Her intense silver eyes were revealed, and they watched the girl carefully. "Well then," she chimed after a moment, and sat back in her chair, pushing herself back until the chair balanced on two legs, her leather boot holding her there from the table. "What kind of literature takes your fancy, my dear?" Her perpetual smirk displayed across her red lips.

Romeo shook his head price I

Romeo shook his head price I pay he mumbled

(Sorry for taking so long

(Sorry for taking so long guys >_<)

Celticmystress: Lynnett marveled at the newly revealed looks of Miss Walker, such amazing white hair. Lynnett's own golden curls only added to her childish face, but Christine's made her age almost impossible to guess. Not that Lynnett would do such a thing...that would be rude. But she was certainly intrigued, even more so now that she knew Miss Walker was a poetry enthusiast like herself! "A pleasure indeed to make your acquaintance, Miss Walker. As for myself, I'm more of a Dante Gabriel Rossetti girl, his 'The Blessed Damozel' is one of my favorites!" The girl's delight at finally having someone to compare literature with was almost palpable, she smiled constantly.

Faunet: Lynnett, much as she wanted to continue reading her book, folded it shut and set it on the desk before her. "Do forgive me sir, I just realized I didn't introduce myself! My name is Lynnett Constance, sir." She held a dainty gloved hand out to be shook.

Bones watched the girl with a

Bones watched the girl with a kind smile listening intently to everything the young woman said. "Dante Gabriel Rossetti," she says in her deep English accent, allowing it to trail off. She looks away for a moment, her eyes vacant and cloudy. "Her hair that lay along her back; was yellow like ripe corn. Herseemed she scarce had been a day. One of God's choristers...The wonder was not yet quite gone... Yet now, and in this place, surely she leaned o'er me — her hair fell all about my face....-- or something of the like," she offered before returning her silver gaze to her. She took up the thick book by Poe. "It is to my understanding your beloved poet, Dante was insipred by this morbid alcoholic," she holds up the thick book with one hand. "Poe, to write this very poem-- The Blessed Damozel-- thanks to one of Poe's works...'The Raven'." Bones smirked flashing her silver fang again and raised her eyebrows.

(....WOW, HOW IRONIC. O_O.... Dante Gabriel Rossetti completed the first version of “The Blessed Damozel” in 1847 and published it in the February 1850 issue of The Germ, a journal of the pre-Raphaelite movement in painting and literature. He conceived the idea for the poem (and later a painting with the same title and subject) after reading Edgar Allan Poe's “The Raven,” about a man who mourns the death of his beloved Lenore, and after reviewing Dante Allighieri's Divine Comedy, in which the author's first love, Beatrice, escorts him from Purgatory to Heaven during his imaginary journey through the realms of the afterlife.

Beautiful beautiful poem, thank you for introducing me. :3)

Faunet: "A pleasure, Mr.

Faunet: "A pleasure, Mr. Romeo." Keeping the blush from her cheeks only barely, Lynnett marveled at what an attractive young man Romeo was. Such a fitting name indeed!

Celticmystress: Lynnett's eyebrows shot up and she exclaimed excitedly; "Truely?! I would never have guessed...I mean, there is a certain light and dark in Rossetti's works, The Damozel especially, but to think it related to the far darker...sinister even, works of this Poe. Absolutely amazing. Lynnett looked back at her companion. "I must say it is a pleasure to have someone to chat with on such topics as these, I find most of the company my parents would have me keep aren't at all interested in the finer lituratures, and if they are, they only play at it to seem more 'cultured'."

Christine smirked again and

Christine smirked again and then nodded slowly, her eyes scanning over the books Lynnett had chosen. "Sinister," she allowed the word to fade and echo off the walls of the room.
"Sinister..." she said again and then looked back over at Lynnett. "What a word," she smiles. "Ah, I am sorry for your misfortune. I assume your parents are not lovers of pen and ink then?.. I am sorry you must be forced to dance in such a masquerade of fools." she shakes her head allowing a small scoff. "Do you play music, my dear?"

Lynnett he said liking how

Lynnett he said liking how the name it rolled off his tongue

Celticmystress: "Oh my

Celticmystress: "Oh my father is. He was the one who introduced me to it all." She rolls her eyes, she seems to have relaxed her rather prudish sense of humor. "My mother, on the other hand, is entirely different. In fact I don't think I've ever seen her excited over much of anything, says it's not 'proper behavior'. I just call it boring. What of you, a family of your own I suspect? Again, Lynnett wasn't sure, she didn't want to right out and ask what the ladies age was. I've heard of people who have their hair go stock white after something dreadful...best not to pry I suspect... She smiled politely as she mulled over the exact age of her companion, she was obviously older than Lynnett herself, but by how much it was impossible to say.

Faunet: Lynnett smiled, pleased to have met such a pleasant gentleman.

(Sorry Faunet, but could you write a bit more next time. I'm just having a hard time responding and I hate to have the conversation just sort of flounder.)

Bones laughed lightly, and

Bones laughed lightly, and wondered just how much longer she was going to be able to avoid these questions from one as curious as Lynnett. She could very well slither her way out of a serious interrogation easily enough, but an honest, curious question began to melt her. She tapped her long nails on the polished desk ahead of her and tossed her white hair behind her with one fluid motion. Her crimson lips twitch into a smirk, and her cold, but kind, silver eyes watch Lynnett. "A family," she muses for a moment. "Yes, I did have one, and it seems I was once nearly in the same position you are in now... I was sent away as soon as I was able to hold a quill-- to become a proper lady."

Her smile drops as she looks at Lynnett's white gloves. "Much like yourself," she adds. She clears her throat after another moment. "I escaped the school, and boarded a ship that was setting sail the moment I climbed aboard. Of course I wasn't supposed to be on the ship, and after the sailors found me nearly starved behind a few barrels a few days later, they brought me before the captain, who I later discovered was my father." she snorts and waves a hand in the air. "My mother sent search parties after me but never found me. I stayed with my father to learn the ways of the sea."

(Sorry for the wait

(Sorry for the wait Mystress...I was waiting to see if Faunet was going to reply but I guess not yet.)

Lynnett laughed, a cheerful genuine sound. "Am I that easy to read then? Indeed, my mother, and for his part my father as well, have great expectations of me. In-so-much that I learn to be a proper lady before I'm of a marriageable age." Frankly Lynnett was quite pleased, this Lady Bones had survived such tutelage and she was still most interesting. Maybe there was hope after all!

Upon hearing the recount of her boating discovery and subsequent excitement, Lynnett's eyes grew wide, then narrowed suspiciously. "Oh but that sounds marvelously adventurous...if it should be true. You wouldn't be fooling me now would you, that would be most unkind!" With all her heart Lynnett hoped it was true, to sit face to face with someone, a Lady to boot, who had lived an actual adventure. It was simply too good to be true!

(Ah, sorry for taking so

(Ah, sorry for taking so long!)

Bones held her stiff posture, straight back, and her perpetual smirk. She waves a gloved hand. "Fooling you? My dear, I assure you, every word is true." she looks passed Lynnett, to a tall man, who walked very slowly and did not notice the greeter at the door who offered to take his coat. The woman stiffened, and watched him for a moment, before sliding back into her seat comfortably. "I would say, in most families, you would have already been married off... Lets see, have you found a tall dark and handsome figure yet? Or do you think your parents will decide that for you?" Bones found the young woman very curious, and very wise for her age. Although very innocent, and very proper, she could somehow see Lynnett daydreaming of adventures and perhaps stealing away to a field somewhere far away from the comforts of home to seize up a stick and battle inviable pirates. She mused about this and offered a warm smile. "I can feel you have a life full of adventures waiting for you..."

(No worries! C:) When Bones

(No worries! C:)

When Bones said it was true Lynnett was overjoyed, how fortunate that she'd been drawn to this woman of all people to sit with and chat. "I suspect my father would allow me to choose my own suitors, however my mother is careful to keep me away from any possible men with whom I could form, relations. She does not approve of relations, I wonder sometimes how I ended up in this world at all really..." A reserved smile crept over her features. "I would certainly not lament a tall, dark, handsome gentleman of course, if one happened to sweep me off my feet. I suspect, on your adventures, you'd have had any man you wanted swooning over you. If you don't mind me saying, your hair is gorgeous, so unique!" Sensing Bone's sudden tense Lynnett glanced around, following Bones's gaze to the man at the door. "Is everything alright? Do you know him?"

Bones pulled off her black

Bones pulled off her black gloves to reveal her long blood red nails, that could almost be called "claws", and although they looked quite exotic, there was no doubt they were her natural nails. Groomed to be as hard as stone. She tossed her white hair out of her face to better look at the girl to her left, and then at the man who quickly turned a corner to escape the chill of Bones' cold glare. She blinked. "It's nothing, he is no one to be worried about," she smiles. "In my type of work, one meets the strangest of characters, some not having your best interest in mind." she says blandly and then twirls a strand of white hair in her fingers. "Why thank you darling. I do quite quite enjoy the overall look it gives. Although the price was a bit more than I would have wanted." she clears her throat regretting she had said such.
She gives the young woman a quick scan with her silver eyes. "My dear Lynnett, I am sure you will have your own share of men at your feet, being such a pretty young woman! My lord, if we travelled together, we would have all of England at our feet." She laughs lighty.

Humhum... Uhm... I know that I'm basically 'raising this from the dead' so to speak, but I was hoping if I might have the pleasure of testing out my newest character, GumStick on on your chars? I adore your rp style and I've been wanting to ask you again for a while now, sooo... *awkwardly twiddles fingers*

Mystress I'm SO sorry for leaving you hanging like this! I hope you're still around to see this ;_;

I would normally love to RP but I've not been in a very good mood lately and real life has been a bit emotional. I frankly don't trust that I'll be able to respond punctually so I'm going to have to close this blog for a bit. Once I'm a bit more level I'll let you know and if you're still interested, I'd be thrilled to do some interaction with GumStick (Who seems amazingly adorable, for being a puppet lol) and to of course continue with Lady Bones, if you're still interested Mystress. I'm sorry I forgot about this blog, I shouldn't have.
