Ringle, ringle, does the bell ring
In a world filled with deer that can talk, some can sing
Even if our emotions are splayed with these few
Little actions we do, is that all we can do...?
I carve unto the snow the pictograms of brethren
Of the faes and of the does
And so the stags and gendered last
I see that we can be made
How I wish I could carve
All my actions in words
But the deer that we are
Cannot know of a lange'
It's as though, without language,
We only have actions
Our actions are limits
To our thoughts and our dreams
It's as though, in the forest
I differ from here
For there...I am a deer
And my language is fear
So I speak to you now
And I cannot be wise
For eternity rests
Within languageless eyes

Other animals thoughts are very limited, are they not? Imagine if you could only think...without language, without words, only actions and sounds. It's just...very confusing.
And explains why other animals can't be quite as wise as we are. You try and think without using language and words x3 It's...hard.
Damn... why is your poem 20
Interesting subject.. I still believe (a lot of) animals HAVE some kind of language.. Ony, it's vocabulary is limited I think... And animals use more body language :3 But you can't think in body language I guess XD
To pray is to believe, to believe is to purify one's soul
To pray is to believe, to believe is to purify one's soul
I know, that's what I meant.
I'm feeling very poetic right now. And philosophical. I dunno.
