Or alternatively, fawns trying to hide under their mother like ducklings under a mother duck.

I probably missed the bandwagon for doing fanart of them as little kids a loooong time ago but It was a good exercise for me drawing wise to try and do a family piece.

This to a while to do, and a great deal of it was making sure the designs/references matched up for the most part. I can't say I did great on the faces, but I don't think I did particularly bad either(I will admit human faces aren't my strong spot sometimes). I figured Herla and her kids were like a mob of sorts when they first started showing the little kids around. Kind of like a mother duck with her babies all huddled around her.
