Pathweaver and Darkweaver... in their origional pre-TEF design.

I actually referanced their origional concept art which took hours to draw on PAPER to get the details accurate in accordance to how they were meant to be portrayed. |D

The story behind their initial design is that the Weaver Brothers were in charge of establishing the possiblities for worlds to manifest. They would come to a world as it is newly formed, and archetect the paths the world would take to either flourish with life or remain desolate. They would provide every option to every living creature, and every outcome to every option. In general, they would create worlds that would prosper and their lifeforms would be abundant and happy.

However other dieties, some more powerful existed.

The creator of outcomes had been caught after completion of what would be one of the greatest worlds by a diety of darkness. He battled against the dark one with all that was left in him, but eventually the creator of outcomes fell to the dark one, and was stripped of his soul and pure form. Converted to a beast of darkness, he began to corrupt the worlds he once charted to prosper. He would create negative fates and early deaths for the worlds until his older twin realized what had taken place.

Finding his brother twisted and soulless, consumed with evil, the creator of choices had been forced to battle his younger brother over a fresh world, and eventually seal him into mantle of the planet in permanent chains. The beast of fate however would only remain bound for so long, and upon his escape several million years later he would engage in a battle that would last (as many speculate) until the end of time. In the mean time, the older sibling carried out the jobs of both brothes, creating both choices and outcomes for all living things.


That's their legend in a nutshell, not even going into the specifics.

Some further character facts about their origional designs:

Aside from providing choices, Pathweaver had the ability to control natural elements, forge elements into artifacts, and had been a master sealer and mage. He could also travel effortlessly between dimensions and across time and space.

Darkweaver meanwhile had the same elemental control ability, though he could also tear through the fabric of dimensions, break his own body down into dark matter to pass through matter as such, see the outcomes of every action and physically chose the outcomes, create 'orbs of fate' which were necessary to use more powerful abilities, and (my personal favorite ability of his) seperate his mind, will, and spirit from his body in the form of a 'shadow' which could travel willingly where he physically couldn't go. His shadow also had the ability to posess evil individuals and leave fragments of his soul in them, often resulting in the individual taking on some of Darkweaver's physical traits, such as extra eyes and access to some of his powers.
(And no, unlike the deer form, he had only one personality and a veeeeeery sharp mind. XD)

B| Obviously they both had to be seriously toned down to ever be playable characters. Origionally designed as 'Epic Boss' and support characters for an RP site I used to run. Only used in emergency or to end intense plots. XD
