Boar concept on tef deer and real deer sketch

The idea for this was using a colour not seen in the forest a slate gray gradient pelt laced with gold markings.

Heres also an idea of what they would look like on a real deer



Any feed back on the idea more than welcome.

Thank you Flyleaf for your kind comment. Im doing lessons with Tales of Amalthea on creature concept creation so have been away from the forest for some time. I have been trying to find what i feel happy drawing. This has lead to some not bad sketches including



But my hearts in fantasy art, I guess thats why i love TEF it gives the mind a bit of freedom.


I need to get some time out of life and work and sit down for the forest. The above idea was a rough 20 min sketch in passing. But i'm so glad you liked it.

Tell you what give me 20mins and i will put some of the design on a real deer, not real real deer cause they dont like being painted and though in velvet over here still have sharp hooves and a good kick. ( goes to find deer)
