Amazing Bo by Starfox

Statistics

Physical: 100% Lean and healthy / Mental: 100% sane / Emotional: 100% Baffled over the dramatic change of her once seared angel wings

In this fateful hour,
All Heaven with its power,
The sun with its brightness,
The snow with its whiteness,
The fire with all the strength it hath,
The lightning with its rapid wrath,
The winds with their swiftness,
The sea with its deepness,
The rocks with their steepness,
The earth with its starkness,
All these I place
Between myself and the powers of darkness.

    Seems to be quite a lot of orphaned young ones around; watched over a tiny on as she slept in the grass near the ruins. I would hate to see any of them be attacked by anything. Curiosity got the better of me then, and I had to check with the Twin Gods to see what was happening.

Biography
Name: Bo, the {former} angel of life, prosperity, and nature {pronounced "boh"}
Forest Sign:

Gender: female; doe
Age: roughly over a few thousand years
Voice: one who has heard Bo's voice cannot describe what it sounds like with words, but with feelings. Her voice is a melody that echoes when she speaks, a certain music that is more tangible than form or sight. The melody has essence, structure, and peace, and when spoken a blessing over one, may travel with them through even some of the darkest places in the universe.
Time Entered Forest: It is only known to her.
Orientation: Unknown (a good chance that she is naturally barren, since all angels were produced from her god Cybele).
Items of Possession: Bark leaf mask; made in the first few weeks she was sent down (butterfly antlers and mask). This mask covers most of her face, and has two strips of the bark that stretch out and away from her head, making her look like she has antlers.
Species: Appointed angel (different from fallen angel, in which the appointed have one or more tasks to do).

Appearance
Bo does not appear unusual for a cervine at first glance; although the only major body part Cybele had neglected to change was Bo's face. Realizing that this would be a clue to identify her for others; she made a mask for herself, covering three-fourths of her head and face. Bo will not take off her mask for anyone, for the sake of protecting her identity.

Depicted Appearances:

*Angel of life; ancient Rome, 793 B.C.
*Angel of life; late Rome, 1247 B.C.

Relations
Name:
Good Lord there are a ton of people she's seen. So I guess I'll have to start over because I accidently deleted the whole list. Ah well. If she sees you, you will most likely be noted.
Ird: {interested in the little green creature, thanks It tremendously for using the Twin Gods' power to heal her burnt and broken wings}
Jennie: {knows this strange glitchmaster since she fell onto their world from heaven; respects highly as the first inhabitant that was not afraid to speak to her}
Lem: {didn't know who he was until the buck made himself known in an odd fashion; circling her tightly with his own body. was he interested in her? it seemed impossible to be sure...}
"Cloves": {there is really no name for the small, friendly doe, so Bo decided to call her that because of the garlic cloves sprouting from her body and the aromatic smell she gives off}
Hated
Name: Mortal enemy, blah de blah blah.

Other Information

*Bo's enormous wings were taken from her by the Earth goddess Cybele, and from there Bo was cast down to earth in the form of a deer, one of her secondary creatures
*Bo was sent to earth with 3 tasks, or purposes from Cybele: guard the 'sacred tree' (the Old Oak), protect against destructive (anti-earth) angels, and supervise lesser animals (such as rodents or birds).
*Bo does not harbor or use magic like the other deer, however, she may project it off of herself onto another when in contact
*Doesn't enjoy how magic feels on her skin; will sneeze it off or rub it off against a tree
*Capable of performing a greater evil or a greater good than she herself knows; the ignorance of her abilities keeps her from creating a great chaos
*Acts as an intermediary for Cybele and many of the lesser creatures
*Seems to be a fawn magnet; they just walk up and stare at her
*This angel was specifically created for sensing energy currents that only she can see moving through space and time. She may not interfere with other higher beings (deer), but may alter the energy slightly so that the number of lesser beings stays within the equilibrium level. Bo relays the information of her actions back to Cybele, and receives credit for them. The more credit she has earned for completing tasks, the less of them she will have to do; and eventually she may be taken back up.
*When Bo disobeys Cybele by worshipping the twin gods, she looses a life energy unit and will have to start over again.

behavior:
*She may act strangely towards others; still adjusting to the world in which Cybele has sent her, including its inhabitants' behaviors
*Has protective tendencies and may watch over nearby fawns as they sleep
*Bo does not know 'awkward' and will look you directly in the eye upon acquaintance
*If and when Bo leaves your deer to go somewhere else without acknowledging a goodbye, it means a unit of life energy has caught her attention; she must attend to it. Please do not get offended; she may or may not come back to your character depending on her tasks.
*When Bo feels it necessary to escape someone, she may turn into a dove and fly off

places of dwelling:
*the Old Oak ('sacred tree')
*wherever life energy may lead her to
*the tall, peaceful grasses of the birch forest
*sometimes near acquaintances or friends

stamina: |||||||||
strength: |||||||||
speed: |||||||||
life energy: |||||||||| (no longer catches life energy)

*Bo is able to run long distances without getting weary just to catch up to life energy radicals.
*Again, Bo is unaware of how strong or intelligent she really is; this information was concealed from her by Cybele.
*The amount of life energy Bo has collected determines her credits and the time she has remaining to be on earth.
*When Bo senses a life energy radical, she puts all other current situations aside to chase and capture it; it is her main priority. These current situations may be with long time acquaintances or recently met ones; it won't matter until she tracks the free radical down. Again, please do not be offended if Bo suddenly switches attention from your deer to chase a radical.
*Upon tracking down a radical of life energy, Bo may:
-stomp the ground to keep it from rising too far into the air
-show some aggressiveness towards the radical to keep it in place
-run in tight circles around the radical to round it up
-finally, she will sit on the radical to absorb it into her 'storage', which will later be used to equally distribute to other lesser animals who need life energy

Even though the morphed

Even though the morphed angel's face was concealed with a mask, you could see her bright green eyes glowing with amusement through the dark eyeholes. She shrugged her broad, burly shoulders together and laughed cheerfully. "A demon cousin of the moon, huh? Cybele never taught me how to expel demons. Either she did not have the time to teach me or she just did not favor me. I guess, it was the latter..." The doe trailed off, head drooping a bit at the thought of the arbitrary goddess who had disowned her so easily. But then she perked her ears up and said, "I overheard her reciting Portuguese to Aprilis and Maius. I remember it like it was just yesterday...the only set of twin angels in Cybele's collectionis de angelus." Bo paused for a moment, reminiscing sadly. "Where did you come from, Ird? Once, I was tasked with watching over a young mother give birth to her child in Nuceria of Italy. The birthing was successful, but there was much bleeding out of the mother, and unfortunately she died. The baby had lived though; it was a male. Later I remember hearing about him. Caesar..Caesaris? Something like that. Anyways, do the inhabitants here give birth in a similar fashion? Were you birthed as so like humans?"
She leaned in, curiously watching the petite green figure for a reply.

"Ooo Portuguese? Hmmm....twin angels? Mmmm..." It made many other interested noises but lacked the words to ask more questions. The creature's mind was a bit too filled with thoughts and facts and things. Soon it would probably start spouting random facts that would all be out of context to others. The mention of birthing made them look slightly disgusted, sure that was a miracle and all but still...ew. And there was that word death again! "UHhh-some do? Some just kinda go poof and show up, some are 'born' and some created. Some both? Ird was-uh-that's an awkward question Bo. Sort a yes, no, maybe so? Created and born?" The creature gave up trying to explain. "Came from crying stone ok?"

She smiled widely, showing a row of white, humanlike teeth. "I, too, was created.." Then, hearing the discomfort in its voice, she added, "But I won't talk about it if it is awkward for you; I think it is somewhat disturbing myself. I do not think I understand the concept..." The angel had almost forgotten about the miracle of her wings during the conversation, and stretched out a wing to full length, stating happily, "It feels like I have twice as more feathers than I had before...you say the Twin Gods helped you with this?"
Her mouth hung slightly open in admiration and her ears slowly traveled to the top of her head again.

Oh she had teeth! It grinned back with its gummy smile and nodded. "Strange things have happened here, no stranger could it be." the creature agreed happily. The movement of her wings drew attention back to them and the ldol spirit just had to stare at the lovely white feathers. She and Akhen were so lucky! They could leave anything behind anytime they wanted too. No stuck in the mud for them. "Really? That's awsome! Should help fly better ya? Yesh the twins helped, figured they paint Ird white often enough and well that was magic sos Ird got their blessing and past it on to you!" It bounced up and and down slightly before standing still again.

Bo's grieved facial

Bo's grieved facial expression was hidden behind her carved wooden mask; all except her mouth, which was pursed and slightly turned down at the corners. "I'm not sure if I can...she cursed me so that I would be tethered to this planet if I failed to complete my task for her. And I have..." She wanted to fly. She wanted to so badly; to feel the wind running itself through her feathers and fur and tasting the soft moistness of the clouds again. Despite all of the happy, mixed feelings the doe had experienced earlier, her shoulders sagged with the unseen emotional weight of deep sadness.

It looked up at her mouth and saw that she looked sad so it frowned too. "Ird failled Ird's original task too.....the Twins still kinda persnickity about that....." It hopped forward and nuzzled one of her legs then just remained leaning against her. "Bo? Maybe you can fly but still be...tethered? Ird doesn't really think you can just go flying out of the forset willy nilly so that might work? Either way Ird thinks that your going to have to try it to see really. Maybe you should wait for a bit before trying though, eat something first ya know?" The creature tilted its head so it could look at her.
