The deer that seemed to have two sides to it walked down the huge mountain of bones and rust. Pointed horns tinged with blood, Seele and Auge made their way through the mound, crossing it as if it were smoke, floating effortlessly overtop of it. After the idiot Thsai had left and temporarily disbanded the group, Seele had decided to return to the Underworld, their domain, against the faking he had done with Thsai. That idiot; Seele was the king! He would return. His acting skills have improved.
Auge was silent as they treked down the mountain. Finally, she spoke through their one mouth, her voice troubled.
"I was really liking that group," she said softly. Seele didnt return the thought, but he prodded her memory, making her remember her thoughts before they were intertwined with the Seer's Stone and Thsai.
"We were powerful; great!" he whispered into her mind. Her body gave a slight shiver, her eyes rolling.
"Stop infiltrating me!" she screeched.
Then, coldness washed over her body. Seele's soul intertwined with her mind, her spine, fixing, adjusting, till she was incapitated, paralyzed by his wrath. When she hit the ground, unable to move, he whispered through her mouth, "Listen to me. We will retrieve the stone, and we will rule."
Auge couldnt voice the agony she felt from it.
