The Priest

I sought quiet company today. I am fully healed in body, but my spirit needs mending. So I sat amongst many quiet deer, all of whom I appreciated the company of. One gray deer by the ruins was particularly good company, quiet and peaceful. We did meet again today. I must say that I am glad to have made your acquaintance, kind deer. Perhaps we shall continue to meet, for it is a pleasure to find those who are quiet.

I am still worried about the fawn I met as well. She seemed so angered over something. Perhaps she was angered at me. I do not know why, though I tried to comfort her. It pains me to see a fawn so enraged. She ran.

“Little fawn?” I called, but she did not stop. I followed her, worried, to the ruins. She proceeded to fight other deer. I worry for her health, though I know now that she wishes me to stay away. For a time I shall. One day I shall approach her again; one day I shall chase whatever demon is within her out of her.

However, while she was fighting in the ruins, I finally discovered a solution to my problem of the Demon. Sitting next to this new acquaintance of mine allowed me to ponder and finally come up with what I should do.

I have decided that we need to talk, Demon.

This fighting has worn us down. It has worn down my mind, made me forget my past. It has made me forget everything important to me in my zealous act of faith. I have betrayed my brothers.

This does not mean that I have given up. I shall not give up, for The Gods do not wish darkness to enter their forest. No. I have simply begun to understand that violence cannot work for me. I cannot win violently. But there are other ways, ways which I shall find. Perhaps I can talk the demon out of you.

Perhaps this hunt can change forms as easily as us deer can.

Antics 7-8, 11, and 13-09

The 8th was all Magnet. 11 and 13 (today) are Scape. =B

First Magnet, who has a lot of screenshots...

Starts out all calm...

One of these things is not like the other.

So much for it being calm. XD

Yes Magnet, it's Selig's picto. No you can't eat it. (That's Toukan's job.)

Left the pond; now cue the silly!

We were hopping in order. 8D And stalker Dark is stalking. I think he was keeping away from the devout spamming down at the pond. |D

Away with ye?

And thus Vader used the Force...

...freaking them the heck out.

...y'know, I'm not exactly sure how this happened. XD
...Mar Sart, the faux-doe magnet! *kick'd*

Selig-doe: o.o
Mar Sart: Er...

Drenched...

[=white][i]...is how I awoke this day. What seemed like a good place to drop off to my weary-fogged mind at the time, proved to be an ill choice once I regained controlled thought. I had found out the hard way that consuming mushrooms not long after blueberries is not the wisest thing to do. I could not help but gag at how my stomach protested the other day. Even now, it as if my throat is reminding me of the feeling.
But no matter. It is nothing I can do anything about. So I went on my way, to nowhere in particular. It was not as if I could easily navigate, for not only was it raining, but it seemed I had awoken in the middle of the night as well. Had something taken place as I slept? The few deer I saw run by seemed more active than usual. I guess any weather change will do that, but..,what was this?
Were those...giant mushrooms?
I could not recall if I had ever seen anything like these before. There was little chance to study them further, for another deer - a doe I believe - had asked me to follow. I was not sure why, and did not right away understand that was what they wanted, but follow I did. Into the usually brighter, but now just as dark, other part of the forest. She? had led me to a few who sat amongst the trees. It seemed the giant mushrooms did not grow here. Something I did not notice at the time, until later, when I reentered the normally darker part of the forest. I had lost sight of my companions in the dark. It is times like these I grow frustrated with my lack of voice, for I could have called to ask for a sign to locate them. It almost felt like I could call out, but I was not sure how I would go about it. I did have a voice once, but it was long ago...
I had best prevent my thoughts from going to the past, for they may linger on more depressing events.

Hum.

[i][=#A880D0]I wonder if this forest shall be different than my home.
Well, these red flowers are pretty, to be sure. It was lovely sleeping among them.
Now... I remember traveling here, but... hum, who am I again?
Oh dear. Have I forgotten my own name? How odd.

Well... I suppose for the time being I will call myself the Hat Lady. For, surely, the hat I wear on my head is not a usual occurrence for deer... Three peacock feathers, stuck into violet felt, folded at the brim.
Hum. The Hat Lady. I am quite fond of it, now.

Perhaps I ought to explore this new forest. I can hear faint sounds, the sounds of others...
Pah, I am a silly Lady, to be sure. Why, where has my confidence gone? Hesitant to approach others? Silly me. But I am a stranger, and it will surely seem odd if there are some specialties or procedures here that I know nothing about, and I approach, clueless. Hum, being a stranger is quite difficult.

My, what is this? Ruins of a castle? A church? A fortress? In my old forest the deer would call it "human"...
An interesting structure, to be sure.
More of those lovely red flowers grow around a tilted piece of these ruins. I think I will rest here a slight bit; I seem to still be worn from my travels.

Oh dear, the sun's getting quite hot! I suppose it's time for me to go into the trees again. Hum, I wonder what I'll find next? This forest is a very beautiful place; almost magical. I see little mushroom circles dotting the ground, and patches of sweet little purple flowers...

Question...?

How do you get the little candles on your deer's antlers?
Is it a random spell? Or do you have to be at a certain place at a certain time?

{||:.The Truth is Revealed.:||}~{Violence Warning}

[center]Apparanza weaved through the trees of the Forest, her dual-colored eyes searching for anyone she knew. The left eye was a celestial blue and the right was a fiery amber, and quite the sight. She had yet to meet any other deer with dual-colored orbs, but she didn't mind in the least. She liked being original. Even as a fawn she would attempt to stand out from the others by putting on a ring of purple flowers atop her head.

Ears swiveled back at the sound of a twig snapping. The silverine doe halted her trot and turned her elegant head equipped with two slender yet sharp antelope horns. She gazed into the shadows, seeing a faint illumination that could be nothing else than a pictogram. Ranza tilted her head slightly and bowed to the stranger, but was confused when the stranger didn't bow back.

The mysterious stag stepped forward out of the shadows towards Ranza, and she was mildly surprised to see a spiteful look in his dark eyes. He was entirely black, just jet-black, even his antlers. She had never seen a pelt like that before.

"Err, hello m'lord. Can I help you?" she ventured quizzically, wondering why he seemed unfriendly. She surely had never seen him before.
"No, Apparanza. But I can help you."
The silverine doe's eyes widened. "How do you know my name? Who are you? And how can you help me?" What did she even need help with? She felt completely fine. What was he talking about? Is he crazy? she asked herself.

The black stag rolled his eyes. "Silly doe. You only need to know me as your brother." He smirked. "I don't reckon you remember anything about your real mother, do you? Don't you want to know why she left you alone in the dark of night, vulnerable to death of starvation or being torn apart by wolves?"

Apparanza flinched at his harsh words, pinning her ears back slightly.
