This green deer was such a sweetheart and helped me "protect" the mini.


See those deer in the distance. They came out of nowhere, sparring and jumping and fighting. They scared the poor mini.


Greenie and I tried to position ourselves in front of the mini.


Fae put on quite the display! If you're her friend, she'll defend you.


A short rest before the other deer approached and scared the mini off.


Fae sniffed the butt of one of the "scary" deer. He wasn't bad at all. And even bowed and exchanged nuzzles.


Fae later found the mini hiding in a tree.


She kept watch until she fell asleep.

If any of your deer have a real deer mask, do you imagine the mask as a mask or his/hers true face?

Voice doesn't wear the real deer mask, and I always imagine Peirce wearing a mask. His face looks awesome without the mask, but I don't want to let him go naked.

I am going to make Iolanthe be my Roleplay character. I will not be bringing her in forest anymore, but will be recycling her Pictogram for my newest idea. I am better at roleplaying as her than I am interacting in-forest anyway.

Hey guys, after everything that's happened in real life, I think I need to take a break from TEF, but I wanted to explain my absence from the community site and Forest so I've decided to kill Quad off. I'm still working out all the details but I think this would be a good way to explain him not being in the Forest while I'm gone.

So soon I'll write a story involving the remaining Rock Hounds, and they all find him and swarm him at the same time. So I was thinking maybe the crystals Iugulare has made have some effect much like kryptonite with Superman, maybe they're really toxic to Quad and inhibit his Grand Talux powers. So he no longer would have his 'immortality' (he comes back to life whenever he dies, though he still feels all the pain each time he dies), and this would kill him off for good. It wasn't the route I intended to take with Quad but I kind of like the idea that Iugulare succeeded in defeating him.

That would mean that Pent would become the next Grand Talux, and would be the last hope of saving the Endless Forest from Iug's infection.

The other thing I was thinking about when I got back from my break was making a new deer to take Quad's place. He would be formed from the body of Quad but would instead be a demon deer-wolf hybrid, mutated from being killed by the Rock Hounds. The name I want to call him is SoulTaker, after an anime I really like, and I've already decided on a themesong for him. The set I want him to have is a skull mask, zombie antlers, and a mini spell with the devout pelt. So he'd be the new threat to the Endless Forest and his bite kills anyone within a few minutes, though I haven't fully decided on that. I think that would be neat, though. I'll make a bio for him really soon.

Peirce is NOT feeling himself today. He will probably have this gloomy feeling for a long time and it's best if you leave him alone. And, fawns, run away at the sight of Peirce. And if Peirce is wearing the high pitched mask, he is very cranky and can get very mad.

Peirce does not like fawns right now. This may change as he gets older, but right now he thinks they are absolutely annoying. Today he was being followed by a mini fawn and decided to teach him a lesson. Peirce was attacked by rock hounds and then right after he heals he is attacked by a deer who is apparently protecting the mini fawn. Peirce will have to get used to being hurt.

Please, if your a fawn, it's best to leave Peirce alone. When his health is 50% or lower he will wear the high pitched mask, and he will be the most crankiest at that time. So fawns, when you see Peirce, just walk away quietly, especially when he's wearing the high pitched mask.

I told a couple of my friends about this cake I had today and they asked for the recipe, so here it is. It is a cake given to my mom from her 95-year old friend.


Two-Egg Cake

Preparation - have shortening at room temperature. Assemble all ingredients and utensils needed. Grease a 9 x 13 pan and sprinkle with flour. Sift flour once before measuring.

Sift into large bowl or Mixmaster:
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Add:
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix for two minutes, scraping bowl while mixing.

Add:
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 1/2 cup milk

Mix for two minutes, pour batter into pan, one layer

Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Brown Sugar Frosting

Put the following into a pot on the stove:
- 1/2 stick of margarine
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water

Heat until bubbly.

Add 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Pour over warm cake and let cool

Bound, grafted, wrapped, cocooned, ensnared
