(Oio's human form looks almost like this blonde guy in the beginning of the first song)
.
Name means: Oio means "eternal" in elvish. It's not his actual name; he lost his memory when he
was abducted by aliens (that's how he somehow ended up in the forest, don't ask me). He calls himself
eternal, for he cannot remember being born, so he probably will never die either.
Oio is a dreamy, peaceful hippie guy who could not live without music. The love of his life is Gitty, his pretty
acoustic guitar. In the forest he always appears as a fawn, since a doe called Tinwë cursed him in some weird
way. It does not bother him, though. Oh and he loves to makes those little "fawn trains", when lots of fawns
follow a grown up deer.
Because of his friendly ways anyone who meets him can be his friend.
But those who have exclaimed friendship are:
It's the era of the hippies, the 70's. A group of youths sit on a mountain top, they sing and some of them have
instruments they play. One of them, a guy around 19, plays an acoustic guitar that he has named Gitty and
treats like a lady. His fantastic voice echoes out in the world, and he watches the stars. The melody and words
come to him as he play and sing, he is improvising. Suddenly the stars get dark, his friends disappear
and he can't see anything around him. For a while he is surrounded by a white light and then he feel he is falling.
He is abducted by aliens.
When he wakes up there is no mountain, no stars and none of his friends are there. He is alone in the middle
of a beautiful, green forest, rays of sunlight shine upon flowers and butterflies. Puzzled he looks at this wonderful
place. Then he realizes a weird fact; he has suddenly become a deer.
The only thing he misses in the forest is his dear Gitty, the beloved acoustic guitar. This endless world is
like a paradise to him, this forest. He wanders, he sings, he is enjoying the pretty colors of the flowers and
the coolness of the water in the creek. He not only gets used to being a deer, he also starts liking it. When other
deer ask of his name, he says it is Oio, it means eternal. “Why do you call yourself eternal?” they ask him.
He answers that he “can't remember being born, so it probably means I won't die either. I'm just as endless as
this forest.” If they are confused by his answer he just laughs at them. In a friendly way, though.
But one day a doe runs past him, laughing like a bird, with the sparkling, brown hair full of red poppy flowers.
And he feels he is shrinking. Terrified he shouts at her: “What did you do to me?” But she only keeps running.
When he looks at his mirror in the pond, he finds that he has turned into a fawn. And he stays that way forever,
since the doe, she's called Tinwë, doesn't know how to break the curse. And she doesn't care, she thinks it is
fun. Oio accepts this third change in his life as he has accepted the ones before. He is not a person of
the worrying kind. And so his life goes on.
