A unicorn stallion. As though exhaled by the forest, he was born from a shadow. His dark pelt warps and wavers when stared into for too long, like the watery reflections on the bottom of a pool, and his eyes shine in the darkness with their own jade light. The from his forehead pierces a horn, diamond-shaped and blade-thin and just as black as the rest of him. Young, handsome, and powerful — he's in the prime of his life and he knows it. He carries himself with a prince-like regality.

He is cursed to share a thousand lifetimes with Knife Princess. This is just one of them.

He seems both aware of his predicament and displeased by it. Though he has no memory of his past lives, he knows this to be the next in his nigh-endless chain of subsequent reincarnations. His connection to this realm is thinner than any he has treaded in previously — the forest is where he belongs to, and where he will always return, but he may travel through the worlds of others.

Beyond this unusual wisdom, he is a confident young stud! While he'll always be aloof, he's shed his former quiet nature and has become rather charismatic and outgoing. He communicates more with body language than with words, but on the occasion that he does speak, his voice is small and soft-spoken. He can usually be spotted resting on the bridge or in the water nearby, though he sometimes ventures to the Blue Bowl. His scent is of honey and smoke.
