Aurora for Calinka.
I know I said I'd draw you only a sketch or such but liked the doodle enough to refine it and put in some clumsy colors. : D
Though I still fail at making line-arts to look good, should have made this lineless then maybe but that would have been more work and I have to go to sleep.
But I like the lineart: o
Hope you like it too. 8>

I've grown some kinda love for drawing real deer faces, I couldn't draw them at all before and hated them because of it, now I just want to draw them everywhere.
I've felt rather artistic lately anyways.
Probably because of a little boot to the ass of my self-confidence I got from here, perhaps.

Yeah, I'll go continue rambling to my bed now. Nighty.

I personally really like your

I personally really like your lineart. It's sharp and clean. As for the finished piece, it's amazing. I'm liking the wavy tail, how vibrant and clear the feathers are, and especially the legs.

Your artwork never fail to

Your artwork never fail to amaze me Tuhka, it's always astounding. Your shading, color choice, pose, poise, details, blah blah blah I'm rambling already, are always very very well done, whether you think so or not. I actually used one of your deer-face drawings as a mental reference when I went to draw this and I've been drawing deer faces like that since. So all in all I owe you and your fantasmigoricalness a huge THANK YOU.

For this particular piece I think the best part is her expression, it's so..... smugly sexy, I want to say. I like it, a lot. And the line art as well, very nice.

I've always envied the way you can draw fur. That tail and those feathers are stunning.
I also really, really love the background in its simplicity. It just fits so well.

Okay, I think I can sort my thoughts coherently again. Like I once explained to you, I find art gifts to touching. Because they mean someone sat down for a shorter or longer time, just to make the person to receive the gift happy. That alone is... heartwarming. And this is why I had my, uhm, minor outbreak there. Though I may not always show how crazy I get, I always grin when getting arts. I love them. Each of them.

This piece is so stunning. It's in the body, the colors, the way Aurora moves. It fits her so well, and it's a huge compliment to see how it actually works, not only in my little mind, but also for others.

Gorgeous. I thank you. So much. <333

And no matter what people may think of what I write here, I know how happy I am, how stunned. I probably just lack the words to convey it properly. Doesn't mean I don't feel that way.

The lineart is well done as usual.
But the magic word is 'valuuuues'. I can hardly see any darker shadows.
