Awoke in the forest to another quiet yet bustling day. Lazed around for a bit watching large and small groups of deer roam around, greet, and snub one another.
"I guess cliques exist no matter what world you live in.."
At this point she decided to stop being so shy and go out and introduce herself to a deer or two. At first she didn't have much luck. Most were friendly enough, but the vast majority were families. Lots of overprotective bucks and their families... what a bore. Eventually she came upon an intriguing canid/cervine hybrid; Zenaida. Female, blueish in color (Sadly Lesedi is color blind and thus cannot appreciate the magnificent blues that actually make up Zenaida's coat lol) , and quite a bit taller than Lesedi, the doe was a sight to behold. Lesedi marveled at her well furred neck and tail and pondered where she might have come from. Her aura shown so brightly with friendliness and confidence, Lesedi couldn't help but approach her. The beautiful doe greeted her politely, looked spry, and didn't seem to be in a rush to bolt off to her herd; if she had one anyways. Inviting her to play was about the best idea she'd had since entering the forest. She frolicked and played with the other doe until she caught wind of a familiar scent. (Scenting is still extremely odd for Lesedi at this point, but she's beginning to realize she's more dependent on it than she'd like to admit.) Thais was lounging by a nearby tree next to a buck she had seen in her company once before who goes by the name of Altijd. She lead Zenaida to her to say hello and to give a small introduction, and ended up staying quite a while with the small group; frolicking, resting, consoling lost fawns, you name it. All the fun she had gave her hope that the forest wasn't some hell she'd been sent to for some rotten deed she'd done in her past life. Lesedi stayed with the group until she dozed off peacefully next to her new friend.

Came to terms that she's now a deer, in a forest full of other deer like creatures. Still a little freaked out and confused by it all. At least it's peaceful here. For some reason she cannot feel the snow nor the frosty bite of winter. At least she thinks it's winter. Who knows, maybe it always snows here. Lumbered around awkwardly as different creatures darted about doing God knows what. Found a skull faced stag (pretty intimidating) and a very pretty doe with a butterfly mask chasing each other around, guessed they were playing as well since it wasn't particularly aggressive. Watched them for a few seconds before she realized they were watching her as well. Awkward. It'd be rude not to approach them now, she sensed their confusion. So in her best deer lingo possible she introduced herself, and they happily did the same. Joined in on their odd play, wow this is fun. Probably got a little carried away. They both got tired and settled down to take a nap, so she bowed quietly and ran off to see what other interesting creatures were in this forest.
Came across the stag from the night before, Lem. His name was Lem. Sat there watching him sleep for a minute until she found herself dozing off as well.

Witnessed the awesome power of the forest Gods for the first time. Lesedi has never considered herself to be truly religious, the thought of some large omnipresent beings watching and evaluating everything she did made her uneasy, in fact she hardly believed in the supernaturally at all. Here in the forest though, she knew things were not so easily dismiss-able, especially considering she herself is a creature like none she had ever seen before since she left her own world. The presence of one of the Gods had woken her from her slumber. It was an odd sensation, as if someone opened up a window allowing freezing cold air to rush into an uncomfortably hot room. Refreshing and overwhelming all at once. Exhilarating and Humbling. Before she could even get to her feet and pinpoint where the energy was coming from, it was gone. But what the being left behind was almost just as astounding. The entire forest was alive with strange hues, decorations, and celebrating deer; one of whom informed her the meaning of the strange weather and behavior she was witnessing. The forest was entering a new year. Even tough Lesedi had only been there for a short while, she celebrated as hard as anyone else. This was her home now, and even though she doesn't know how long she's going to be here or even if she'd ever be able to leave, she should embrace her new life and the many beings that roam the forest along with her.

Average day until she came upon a small infant resting by the pond. A lamb. She was adorable, and looked frightened, so Lesedi saw fit to keep her company at least until another adult came around. She ended up staying quite a while with the little lamb even after others arrived, playing and resting next to the child, keeping an eye out for forest predators. The lamb eventually left, presumably to find its mother or guardian. Aww, but she was so cute.
Wandered around the forest until she sensed some odd pressing force nearby. stopped searching for it when she noticed a semi-transparent mass hovering near a small family in the birch forest. Instantly realized whatever she was seeing was not from the realm of the living, time and space seemed to shift around as the creature drifted silently around the trees. The family, consisting of a large buck, a doe, and a few small fawns were resting near a bolder, oblivious to the presence that was just paces away from them. Unsure of what to do but unwilling to leave, Lesedi stayed and watched unblinking, concentrating on the masses erratic drifty movements. She couldn't read its intentions, and couldn't bring herself to leave. What if it tried to harm one of the fawns? Shortly after she realized the family (or maybe just the stag) had spotted her, the large buck rose to his feet and began eyeing her curiously, and marking his territory.
"I must be making them uncomfortable.. but.."
she moved away before the buck could reach the spot she had been standing, but only just far enough so he knew she wasn't trying to creep on his family. The buck returned to his family and the mass continued to float and drift around the doe and her fawns, undeterred and unfaltering. Figured it was probably some lost family member or friend, and decided to move along before she upset the buck enough to give her a not so gentle push away from his herd.
Met a few new faces later, all of whom were great company for the time she spent with them, including (but not limited to, sorry if I forget to mention you ) Cu, Emilia, and Kujance; the latter of which she had a lengthy and meaningful conversation with. However, with the meeting of new people she couldn't help but miss a couple of faces she had met before. spent the rest of the night napping and briefly visiting with strangers.
I personally think this is
Will be following the progress.
Oh wow thanks, I really
Ah yes. Enjoying what I see.
And while your art doesn't look much to you now, both anatomy and coloring are neat and got a potential at that. I see you've got a sense for expressions.
