I tire quite a bit of this uncommon misfortunate that has befallen me. Is it always simply my turn to be alone? To have woken up one morn to find that I am the bearer of the tormentuous lone?

I feel as though I've done something in the past. Before my fawnhood, even. And this something was never truly...considered, by any sort of God, in a past world. Might this be revenge for a time I cannot even conceive of?

My brain's all fuzzy now, this subject is too complex for my brain to dwell upon for too long.

My Human has attempted to locate the chain holding me from communications with my kind. Alas, she has lost quite a bit of her wealth. She has tried to explain this concept of 'wealth' and 'money' to me.

Might you perceive what it is? She explained it as though...if a deer had some special spells, and another had some spells you want, you might exchange them, possibly? And that a deer cloaked in a Black as Night pelt, a Skull, and Kirin antlers may have more 'wealth' than a stag lacking any special pelts, masks, or antlers.

Humans are curious creatures, are they not?

I enter the forest, and not a single deer's scent graced my nostrils. What a disappointment. But...I digress.

I have grown so very accustomed to my fate. My Human says the chain has been perceived of, but it is made of pure Gold, and there is no simple cure. Her web is just ever so slightly too slow, which is nonsensical to me, for I have never see a spider's web move anywhere. Apparently, she has no access to another web, unless she purchased a new computational human creation, of which I've forgotten the name.

I query to you all...shall I remain within this forest, or is it simply of no worth?
