Anyone mind helping a newbie with her character? :3

I just made a bio for my deer recently, but I don't really have much to put in it. This is because, since I have just created her, she doesn't really have much of a personality or history yet.

So I was wondering if anyone would mind or want to ask her a couple of questions she can answer? Or RP with her? I just want her to develop more of a personality than just being scared of everything, so any help would be appreciated. ^^

I'd love to RP with her,

I'd love to RP with her, since I have a new character to work on as well. Do you have a start of a scene in mind?

Her pictogram looks like a cat with its head tilted o3o It's wonderful

My deer Phaios would be more than happy to chat a fawn's ears off, and you're welcome to come find us in the Forest as well :3

Lol it does! I noticed that

Lol it does! I noticed that about the pictogram too. To be honest that's the only reason why I chose it. If I see you in the forest I'll come over and say hello. ^^

Hmm.. I haven't really thought about a scene. Do either of you have anything in mind? Maybe the pond or something, since deer probably go there a lot since it seems to be the only source of water..?

Thank you both for your help. Smiling

A good reason to pick

A good reason to pick it!

The pond's always nice.
Think about what your deer would be doing there, and why she'd ventured that way.
If you have trouble starting, I'm sure one of us could come up with something Sticking out tongue

Is this two two-person

Is this two two-person scenes, or 1 3-person scene?

Also, I can start for either.

Nimbus was staring at the deer in the water as N drifted aimlessly above. Water called to water, and so the cloud-in-a-deer found himself almost directly above the surface, the cloud-puffs around the fawn's hooves fading into the water's surface, but also calling up to pieces of the water into fog that stewed around the pale fur of the puffy little fawn.
Nimbus was lying down, and yet still moving above the water, drifting aimlessly on a cloud. It would have been an odd sight indeed.

"Is this two two-person

"Is this two two-person scenes, or 1 3-person scene?"

I am content either way.

(Maybe just a 1-3 person

(Maybe just a 1-3 person would be better since all of our deer can interact? If you want to just do them separately I don't mind though. ^^)

It was an odd sight, and a scary one. Or at least it was to the fawn that was splashing in the water just a moment ago. Now she was staring at the creature that was floating above the pond. Although her first instinct was to run, her fear soon turned into curiosity, and so she found herself wandering closer to the fluffy fawn instead. "Umm.. hello sir." She said as she approached, trying to be polite, although cautious enough to stay a small distance away. "H-how do you do that? Is that magic?" She added, although she wouldn't be surprised if he said yes. A lot of deer in the forest seemed to be able to do 'magic', whatever it was.

A brown doe with ruddy spots

A brown doe with ruddy spots and gray underside lay with her shoulder braced against the trunk of one of the pond's several willows, watching the fawn drifting above the water's surface. Had this happened just a few months ago, she might have been concerned, but over time she had learned that gigantic rabbits and sparking magic were the norm here. Few things phased her these days.
She was, however, curious, and so when the second fawn paused her splashing in the nearby shallows long enough to speak to the one who was drifting, her ears pricked forward to listen.

Well umm.. if anyone wants to join in or post something go ahead! Don't be shy. =D

Nimbus's brow furrowed very lightly at the interruption, but N didn't turn his head to look at the other fawn. Nimbus just nodded, very softly.

"..If you did it... Maybe it would be..."

Nimbus said thoughtfully. Nimbus pawed at the water, sending ripples N could watch.

"But for me... Maybe just... insufficiently analyzed science? They're not the same... I don't care... What anyone says."

(Its okay! You don't have to

(Its okay! You don't have to post if you don't want to, especially if you're feeling bad. I hope you get better soon. ^^)

So it wasn't magic. "So that means only you can do it? This science?" In all honesty, she didn't get much of what he was talking about. All she knew for sure was that science had nothing to do with magic. Now even more puzzled than before, she walked closer, and lightly poked the cloud he was sitting on with her hoof. Apparently she didn't know the meaning of 'personal space' either. "Huh. It doesn't feel solid.. so how.."

The fawn stopped talking when she heard his last statement. Probably a good thing since she would've pestered him with another question otherwise. Instead she decided to walk in front of the cloud fawn, watching and trying to tell if something was bothering him. "Did someone say something to upset you? If so, you shouldn't listen to them. Most of the deer in this forest are weird anyways.." Concerned, she looked around to see if any other deer were around, trying to find one that could've given her new friend a hard time.

It didn't take long for her to find the other doe listening near by. ".. Oops." She didn't know there were any sitting that close. Well, maybe she didn't hear her last comment. "Did she say anything? If so, you should just ignore her. She's probably just jealous of your cloud ma-.. science." She added with a whisper.

Wait.. could that deer hear them? A fawn was one thing, but a full grown deer was way bigger. At this point she started staring at the doe, hoping she didn't hear what she said, and was thinking about running if she did. After all, she didn't want the doe to get mad and try to hurt her.

(Lol I didn't know my deer would turn out to be such a pest. x3

Sorry that the post is too long. I'll try to keep it shorter, I just tend to ramble. D8)

"No...She hasn't

"No...She hasn't said...anything. But... People say 'any sufficiently advanced technology is the same as magic' or 'sufficiently studied magic is the same as science'..."

Nimbus did not repeat N's earlier statement that that wasn't true; it was evidently not true, at least to Nimbus. The little cloud-in-a-deer turned N's head ever-so-slightly to the cloud, the pale eyes reflecting the whiteness and the non-solidity.

"...Clouds aren't supposed to be solid. That's meteorology... But if I could put my hoof through you and feel around ... Know the texture of your sinew... deer are made to be solid. So it's sort of not the same."

The was the best explanation Nimbus could come up with, a little wry smile on N's face. But it wasn't delivered like an explanation -- N sounded a little confused by it, and unsatisfied. Staring at the cloud, the way it diffused back into the water caught those pale eyes, and Nimbus commented, not exactly to her but not away from her,

"...Like a soul.... Is that dying?"

[Hooray, I have my computer :D]

Phai cocks her head to one side as she listens, most of Nimbus's words flying over her head. What were 'sigh ants?' And... meat-or-whatery? Befuddled, her brows knits together - only to spring apart again when she notices one of the fawns staring at her; one brow lifts in a quizzical expression as though to ask 'what?'
Wondering if she should be concerned about the sudden whispering, Phaios returns the little question-filled fawn's gaze for a few moments before feeling a need to break the awkward silence sitting between them. "Hello there..."
