Ah, this is a very good question - I would like to know too. Line length doesn't exactly apply to images so I just made my signature small enough so it wouldn't be intrusive.
It's funny how this is basically a forum, yet there is no official FAQ section for rules on here. The FAQ in the top right goes to the Tale of Tales TEF game FAQ, which is completely irrelevant if you ask me.
