I haven't been on the Forest too much the past few days, mostly cuz of playing Sims2. XD; But here's some screenshots from when I've been on.

Scape met an insane bird near the Playground. o.o The only one that wouldn't fly away no matter what. And he was the only one who could see it. It just sat there...spazzing.

Freaking him out. I think his pawing at it when it didn't leave did something to its mind...
He decided to get at eye-level with it to have a chat.

Kinda disturbing Halogen and Selig in the process. And they were already concerned about him talking about the bird that was still there. They saw nothing.
Scape: It was there, I tell you! The pictures don't lie!


...I don't think it could understand frog.
Scape: ...well...I was the same size at least. XD;

The next day, Scape found himself remembering Run... So in her honor he held a Run for Run of his own, following the same path he took when the Memorial was in the Forest...


Now, I'd like to introduce a new deer.
Can't I introduce myself?
*blink* Ok. Go for it I guess.
*bows* Thanks you.
*clears throat* Greetings, deer of the Endless Forest. I've heard much about your wonderful home. I must say, it's just as grand as it was described to me. *blinks* Oh, I didn't give my name. Well, I am called Blue. =]
Pega: If you've been reading "Origins" (which I should continue >.<; ), you might recognize that name. And if not..there was this swarm of blue dragonflies that always flew around the same area of the brook in this one forest. Scape and Magnet were born in the herd of deer that lived there. =] The "leader" of the dragonflies had been told by Radeon - Scape and Magnet's dad - about the Endless Forest, where he came from. He asked the dragonfly to tell Scape about it, since he had a feeling his son would understand it. He couldn't tell him himself, which you'll find out if I ever continue the story. >.<
Blue: *blinks* Are you ever going to continue it?
Pega: ^^; Yea...eventually.
Blue: *chuckles* Well, alright then. I'll continue now...
Yes, I was indeed that dragonfly. Let me explain how I came to be here. The life of an ordinary dragonfly has its time limit. I passed on from the world. Now, before you start wondering how I'm here, let me continue. You see, I was envious of the deer of the forest, of how they could travel around on land. Dragonflies can't leave the water they are born from; they must always linger around it. Not only did I wish to see more past my home at the calm brook, I also longed to see this Endless Forest the Crimson Drifter had described to me. These thoughts lingered in my mind as I passed on, and soon...I found myself reawakening, seeing everything in a new light...in a new place...
The Gods had granted my wish, and I had been reborn as a flat-faced deer.

*chuckles again* Scape was quite surprised when I told him who I was. Though he also said it was unfortunate that my first time seeing the forest had to be a rainy one. That was fine with me, though, for I could never be out in the rain before.
I was even gifted with candles by a passing deer. ^^ They made me soon remember being told of the the pond's tendency to tease.

That passing deer was handing out more candles to anyone they could get to follow them. I soon learned of the deer way of dancing.

Very different from the dragonfly way, but still enjoyable. Though I will admit, I will miss my wings and the acrobatics I could pull off..
I soon decided I'd done enough exploring for the time. I found the river by the pond, and followed it to the Crying Idol, where the Crimson Drifter had told me he liked to sleep. I decided to curl up near it for the time.
Ah, I awoke to sunlight. The human had told me a deer had been asking for assistance in gaining the mini-deer spell. I joined the group that had gathered near the Ruins, atop a hill near there. I sat with them to wait to fall asleep, as instructed. It didn't take very long for that deer to gain the desired spell. After that was achieved, everyone ran off to gain other spells to cast - antler and mask. I'd learned of these first-hand (hoof?) after first awakening. I added in my help. The deer finally got their desired look, fading from the Forest to "save" it, I was told by the human.
Three of the deer who had been assisting - Halogen, Selig, and 21 I was told - went to sit around at the Ruins. Halogen and 21 were on both sides of this pedestal, and soon, the third deer, Selig, hopped onto the pedestal itself, almost as if it were some kind of throne. It was almost like the other two were playing guards. When Selig jumped down and faded from the Forest, I "claimed" his seat on the "throne".

This place continues to fascinate me. It is everything it was described to be and more. I will discover if it truely is endless tomorrow. For now, I sleep amongst my brethren.
