Another try at this.

Yet another attempt at drawing a Herla as a human faced deer instead of real deer faced. This is mostly for interest sake and to play with the design. To see if I could pull it off and make it work.

I think I prefer her with the flesh colored face.

(Did another one with her face and pelt matching in color but this just never quite looks right to me?)

Agreeing with Chicken here,

Agreeing with Chicken here, the darker face is definitely my favorite. The silvery lips and head pattern are nice additions to it to help contrast with the black head hair.

Ooh, nice! I can never decide if I like flesh-coloured or not best. Depends on how the fur-skin border looks I suppose.

I like the flesh-coloured one more here though, but I think that might be that I like how you drew her face there more.

Very nice work on both, I love the bright colours and your less pronounced lines!

I tend to prefer the face

I tend to prefer the face matching the color of the pelt usually. I think flesh-colored faces are too contrasting. But this is probably the first art I've seen where a flesh-colored face actually looks nice. I really like her neck too.

You have talent;but I'm not a fan of her face. It's far too human. I myself would keep in role, being as the deer's face does resemble a human's-but it is far different, uniquely a tef deer humanoid face.

Woah, I haven't seen such a beautiful face in a while. She's truly the most elegant lady that I ever saw here.
I like both, even though I usually prefer unicolour. Maybe you should try to make a sort of a compromise between these two versions? Like making her face on a tone or two lighter then the pelt, or a smooth color change between skin and pelt.
