Canada nodded at Japan,
Meanwhile, America had been picking up rather large logs that looked fairly old and carrying them on his shoulders. "Ahh reminds me of the old days, chopping down trees and hauling wood." He mentioned to no one in particular, though he expected England to know what he was talking about. He wandered over to a portable fire pit, kicking off the top and setting the logs inside. He stood there, waiting for England to do whatever before he could pick up the handles and wheel it over to the others.
GGG I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS IS GONNA WORK LOL hawhaw world conference I BET THAT WOULD BE THE FUNNEST RP EVER LOL
I'LL BE THE HERO.

Japan thanked Canada meekly,
The blond laughed. "You didn't even have any muscle back then." That only showed how far they'd both come, however; now they could both lift logs like no tomorrow and they were both strong enough to be independent. Nonetheless, he shouldered his own hunks of wood into the fire and laid the extra piles beside the pit for later.

The pit was set down, along with extra wood beside it. America started arranging the logs accordingly, then grabbed a box of matches from the grill. In a few minutes, a fire was started. America seemed oblivious to the strange noises in the driveway as he went into the house to grab the marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars. He looked around, then at Canada, "Didn't you get me anything?"
"You didn't ask..."
"Ah whatever." He went back inside for a moment, coming back out and sitting down again.
"I heard something weird in the driveway, did you hear it too?" Canada sat forward, tilting his head. America shrugged and shook his head.
And there was a knock at the door.
FFFFF this could be either one LOL I DUNNO i fail GGGG

Over the noise of tossing
Besides Canada, Japan seemed to be the only one also bothered. He stood and hesitantly took a step forward before turning back to his partner. "Someone's at the door," he blinked, taking his tank and throwing it over his shoulder before jogging unwelcomed back into America's house. Hopefully someone was trailing behind him on this as bringing someone into America's house alone wasn't a bright idea--especially when he didn't know who it was. But he'd find that out soon enough--he turned the handle and peeked out.
RUSSIA? HAW HAW.

Japan spoke up, which got
The door cracked open with nothing out of the ordinary to reveal. A bit more, they could tell he was tall. A little more, a... scarf? The door opened all the way. Two big purple eyes looked down at Japan on the other side, blinking in confusion.
"Eh? What are you doing here, Mr. Japan?"
America stared at his own doorway in confusion as if there was an alien at his door. He stepped over to his door, pushing Japan slightly so he could be part of the conversation as well. "I should be asking you that..." He craned his neck to see if Russia's car was out in his driveway.
"My car, it went up in smoke, see. And lucky for me I stopped right at your house." He pointed a giant thumb back at his car, which was indeed belching out puffs of dark smoke. He looked at the two of them, "... Why are you green?"
"Ah, long story, uh.. Well, I guess you can come in... We were just starting a fire, so--"
"Oh you have company?"
"Yeah, but it's cool. Come in." He waved a hand before stepping out of the doorway to let the stranded Russia in. As he walked in, he pulled off his scarf, "It's a bit warm today, isn't it?"
GAH i FAIL oh well FFF

o-oh my god I thought Russia
Purple eyes stung onto his face and he truthfully had to swallow a scream, gripping the door's handle so hard his knuckles were paler than his already light skin. He licked his bottom lip and tried not to lift his chin and hood his eyes while pretending to be happily surprised. "R-Russia-san--hello," he stammered, bowing just his head and taking that moment to back up behind America as well. Silent and still staring at the floor.
England had stayed behind figuring it was just someone asking for directions at the door. He never expected much; in fact, he only relaxed further at having a moment to be alone with Canada again. At least this time there were no tears. "Hey, you have lawn chairs somewhere, right?" He peeled himself off the deck's stairs and pressed his coke against his hot forehead while turning to his blond companion. "Help me set them up around the fire," he ordered happily, stalking off to look around the deck for chairs. Or something to do.

OH HO HO i think i would die
Russia padded in (though with his feet padding sounded more like stomping), taking a look around. America invited him to take his shoes off at the door, and he obliged. America studied him as he did so. It was odd, he wasn't quite used to seeing Russia in such casual clothes. Just a black T-shirt and khakis. America wondered how long he had been around the neighborhood, he wasn't dressed for the weather at all. Especially with that scarf, he always wore some kind of scarf.
Russia folded his palms contently behind his back, "Ah, if I could use your phone..."
America nodded, "Yeah, it's in the kitchen, there." He pointed, leaving Russia to do whatever was needed before going back outside with Japan.
Canada blinked at England, smiling and nodding, "Yep yep!" He stood, stretched a bit, then went over to an obscure corner of the house where the lawn chairs were hidden. He grabbed two at a time, and with England's help, the chairs were set up in no time at all. Canada sat down again, shooting a grin at England before sitting back and staring at the fire contently. "I wonder what's taking brother so long..." He thought about what would happen if it was serious, but it didn't sound too serious. America or Japan would have asked for their help by now. He combed his bangs back in thought, fiddling with his glasses at the same time.
PRODUCTIVE.

Skepticism was plain in his
Or maybe it was an absolutely barbaric plan to leave Russia alone in that house. He should keep an eye on him, this, that--his mind was in a frenzy.
England noticed America emerge first as he was in front of the shorter one, happy to see his brother prepared with the food so that he wouldn't have to wonder alongside Canada at what was happening. Nonetheless, as a conversation starter while seating himself in his own chair and letting his perspirated chest dry by the flames, he asked. "Who was it?"
Surprisingly, Japan piped up then, scooting his chair so close to England's that the arms of them touched. It was a move that England squinted his eyes at in awkward wonder, but his answer made sense. He didn't want to be on his own in any way when this guy was around and everyone knew it. "Russia." No -san needed. Japan figured he didn't deserve the respect anymore no matter how innocent he was as of the moment.
I forgot Japan was shirtless too until I pictured him sitting by half-naked England. At night. By a fire. Which is the sexiest natural lighting ever. -fans own face too- sdfkg

America sat down, setting
Canada felt a bit edgy at his brother's words, now. He wasn't quite aware of any relations between the others and Russia. As far as Canada himself was concerned, he didn't mind the guy that much. He was still a bit scared of him from the Cold War, but that was over and past. That and he sat on him once at a meeting. That didn't need to be remembered, he turned his sights back to the fire, sticking a marshmallow onto his fork and setting it near the fire. He watched as America did the same, but instead of roasting it slowly, he stuck it right in the fire and let it catch. Canada blinked, "You can't make them like that, they won't roast all the way."
America grinned, "This is quicker."
The phone had hung up. Russia leaned against the counter, setting his elbows on the table. He puffed out a breath, blowing his bangs up in the air for a moment before running a purple gaze across the kitchen. Definitely American. The lumbering Russian put a hand to his forehead, rubbing the bridge of his nose as if he had a headache. It would be hours before anyone came by to pick up his car. He smelled the fire burning outside, sending a bit of nostalgia through him.
Canada was the first to want to go inside. "Okey, we need some serviettes..." He stood, setting his fork down and keeping his hands spread out to keep the sticky mess away from everything. He carefully opened the door and walked inside, quickly grabbing a bunch of napkins after wiping his hands off. His blue eyes landed on Russia, who had turned around at the sound of a door opening. "Ah... hi..." He stammered.
"Hello." Russia answered politely.
Canada swallowed nervously, "Erm... We're making smores outside, eh? Care to join us while you wait?"
Russia blinked, a kind smile spreading across his face, "I would love to."

Greece can so be the car
Greece can so be the car repair guy. ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT I HAD A DREAM HE REPAIRED MY CAR. I'M NOT EVEN LIEING WTH IS THIS AHAHA"He probably broke it himself," came a mutter. England shot a glance at Japan but he wasn't paying attention--he was busying himself by putting his own marshmallow on his fork before hilting it up against the rim of the fire pit. He prefered cooking over the hot coals rather than going America's way. And this way he could sit back and simply wait, although that didn't do much good either as the only thing he could dwell on while being patient was Russia's presense.
England gave an overexagerated sigh. "Come on, J, he's probably--"
But Canada had emerged with Russia in tow before he could finish his words. He'd spoke too soon and Japan was aware; he was glancing up to see what caught England short as well and he nearly fell off his own seat. He grasped onto England's chair's arm to steady himself, however.
The blonde seemed the far calmer of the two. If anything he was amused at his friend's antsiness but he also understood how it was to have an enemy so near. Had he not just a few hours ago held a quarrel with France? A comforting pat was given to Japan's hand before he rose to get himself ingredients after giving a meek wave to the newcomer.
The Easterner didn't enjoy sitting alone for one moment and he made no move of being polite; in fact, he took his fork back up and pretended to examine his marshmallow over greeting Russia. In his own right mind this act was simply defenseful over innocent: the fork would make a wonderful weapon if he needed it.
HA HA I love Japan's mind. What a cow. >D

America sat back, smearing
Canada saw the looks Japan and England gave Russia, blushing in slight embarrassment that he invited the large light-haired man out in the first place. Russia waved to everyone, taking a seat between Canada and America. The his purple eyes locked on the fire as if it was hypnotizing him. Russia never thought of having a fire in weather like this. It was a nice experience.
Canada set down the pile of napkins, "I got some serviettes if you get sticky..."
America chortled, "Serviettes?" He enjoyed poking at his brother's accent. He took another bite of his smore.
Canada blushed, "Fine, napkins." He flicked America's shoulder before making himself another smore.
Russia gave a slight chuckle at the two brothers, sitting back in his chair and staring into the fire again. He was taken by surprise when Canada handed him the smore he just made with a smile. Russia's already rosey cheeks seemed to redden a bit more as he took the food gladly with a thanks. Out of the corners of his eyes sat Japan. He never did take the shorter one out of his sights. Out of everyone, Japan was the one he suspected the most to make an aggressive move. And the fork in his hand would make a wonderful weapon if he wanted to.

He'd just act like Russia
Japan took a napkin gingerly and dismissed the pop ordeal by sliding the marshmallow off of his fork and taking his graham crackers to balance on each thigh as he quickly pressed the gooey white on top of one. Chocolate was placed on the other and he pressed them together neatly.
England watched his friend with some sort of interest over the rim of his pop, licking his lips after having taken a few gulps. "Good God, that looks like something that should be on display at the front of a store," he mused. How come Asians were such perfectionists towards food?
Japan dismissed the compliment and took the dare of glancing at Russia in hopes that he wasn't looking back. He wasn't. There was no real reason behind the sudden stare other than to make sure that the guy was still there and not threatening. The dark-haired male turned back to his smore and leaned back in his chair; the feel of cloth on his bare back was a bit shocking as he'd blatantly forgotten that he was shirtless, but he pressed harder and decided it felt nice.
"Who did you call?" England bothered, returning with his own smore ingredients and taking Japan's fork to stick his marshmallow on. He didn't like the quiet no matter how much Japan was going to nag on him for this later. And now that his friend was weaponless he was even more heated.

America watched intently at
America's eyes brightened, either with joy or competitivness, "I'm game."
Russia took a bite out of his smore, savoring the melty chocolate and hot marshmallow. He let out a quiet sigh of satisfaction. (god im making myself hot *FANFANFAN*) His fire-glazed eyes went over to the two brothers in wonder. America and Canada could both eat a ridiculous amount of food. He honestly had no idea who would win at this sort of thing. He looked down at his smore. Especially with something this rich... He looked over to England, a bit surprised that he would ask such a question. Russia didn't even want to answer since England was the one asking, but he managed to find enough politeness inside. "A local garage, I guess... I had to look it up somewhere..." Maybe not enough politeness to be specific.
Meanwhile America and Canada had already gotten three smores each ready, and were still roasting more marshmallows. Each of them had a competitive look in their eyes and they were both mumbling playful insults to each other.

Everyone seemed to be
America and Canada both had a good stack of smores going, there had to be around eight now, but they kept making more and more. Canada was starting to wonder how many they were going to make before they would stop. And it wasn't like they were running out of ingredients, it was as if they were planning on having this contest. America kept chuckling to himself, most likely thinking of how good it would feel to beat his brother at this. At some point, Canada shoved his arm, which made him shove back, and that led to a small fight while still managing to roast marshmallows. Russia giggled slightly at the two of them.
