preferable...however, I won't mind trying humans if anyone wants. My "unofficial" deer (Maera and Andras) are fantasy humanoid characters in their original forms, so I am used to playing them that way. The others might be more difficult.
Anthro is okay.
-I'm no good with coming up with or starting plots, so there won't be any here, unless someone else wants to try one
-anyone can join any time (I don't care how "good" you are at RP'ing)
-I can handle multiple scenarios and multiple time-lines
-If anyone would prefer to RP elsewhere (a separate blog, through MSN/AIM, a different site, etc.) just let me know.

She turned around and directed her path to the pond. It was time for a refreshing drink to shake off the dream. That'd help her.
Her stroll didn't take long, before she knew it she saw the water in the distance. Hard to miss anyway. As she reached it, she took a short look at her reflection before dunking her head in. That'd make a sure refreshment. Polt got back up, looking at her hair dripping before her eyes. It was only then she recognised the distinct figure watching the dragonfly's.
She could only hope she hadn't made a complete fool out of herself.

Oisín hadn't seen her, but he thought he heard someone a short distance away, and automatically turned his head. His ears perked up as he caught sight of the blue doe. Getting to his feet, he turned to face her, bowing in greeting. "Lady Poltergeist," he said, smiling at her, "a pleasure to see you, as always."

Poltergeist quickly straightened her posture as Oisín stood up and greeted her. Lady? Am I that old? "Hey dude, how's it hangin?" She said, a grin on her face. She quickly shook the water from her head, like a wet dog would. After that, her purple hair had managed to stick up in all directions. "Ehm, sorry, I mean, hello Sir Oisín! It's a pleasure to see you too! Did the dragonflies tell you anything? You seemed quite eh, busy with em!" She smiled. By now, her silly moment had faded, and she was trying to get her hair to go obey to gravity again by shoving her front knee over her forehead.

"Well, no, not on purpose." Polt smiled. "I sometimes forget to pay attention where I'm going. I'm pretty clumsy.." She knew she was startled easily. She had often enough jumped, bolted and had a harsh meeting with a tree. "Yeah. I wonder what they'd have to tell." She let out a sigh. "Land of the fairies?" She looked at him, questioning. "What are fairies? I've never heard of them." She thought for a moment, then looked back at Oisín. "Your life before? That sounds interesting, do you mean like reincarnation?" The look on her face was that of a curious fawn now. She was a pretty ordinary doe herself, but she knew some other deer had more interesting backgrounds.
((yyyeesssss!! |D )) "Ah. I
"Ah. I saw a deer seemingly attacking a tree once. But that might not have been what was really happening. In any case, I certainly can't imagine you going around head-butting trees, which is why I was a bit confused for just a second there." Oisin gave a somewhat sheepish smile. "Hmm, I can relate, as I'm not the most agile myself. Even if it weren't for this leg constantly bothering me." He looked back at his left rear leg for a moment. "I don't even know how it got to be this way." He turned back to Polt. "'What are fairies?'" Oisin thought for a bit, looking somewhat perplexed. "Funny, you know, now that you ask, I...I'm not really sure. Something tells me they are magical beings. And I think there are stories about them. I think I heard someone refer to those mushroom circles as "fairy circles" one time..." He frowned in confusion. "Reincarnation? I'm not sure... That's something like dying and then being born again, isn't it? It's...possible it could be that. But... Somehow I have the feeling I was not born in this forest, whether for a first or second time. It's as if I simply woke up one day, and here I was, a fawn, with no memory. The only parents I am aware of are the ones who took me in and raised me as their own. Before that, I was alone. But I have always felt as if I was not always a deer, and that I once lived elsewhere. Once in a while, there will be...what seems to be a flash of memory. And sometimes dreams, though they are always vague and never very long. I do think I may have had...another life, as it were... It's just easier to say it that way. But I feel as though I was not reborn, but rather...was brought here and transformed somehow. If only I could remember more." He was silent for a second, and then gave a smile smile and a light chuckle. "But I suppose all that sounds like a lot of nonsense."

"Well, some days are better than others. And I have been learning to walk on it better, though I still have some difficulty with some things, such as running and jumping." He watched her for a moment, the movement of her hair having captured his eye. "No, it does make sense to me. I've heard of similar things. I've heard about other creatures, too. But, I'm not sure what else I would have been..." He smiled at her. "But, I think I've said enough about myself for now. Would you share some of your own story?"
((Oh, I feel spied on! XDD
"How did it ever get so bad though? I mean, your leg, that is." She smiled at him. She wasn't sure what was appropriate to ask, and what wasn't, so she hoped she wouldn't offend him. Now, and in the near future. "It made sense? Whoa, that's quite the achievement for me. I make sense!" She chuckled, before looking back at him. "Oh? Me? Well, I'm pretty ordinary I guess. I got born from a mommy and a daddy deer, right in this forest. Though, well, my mom is a bit different. She can be nice, really, but..." Poltergeist looked away for a moment. How would she describe her mother? "She's actually a really strong, bossy doe. And I don't think she ever liked fawns in any way. She hates their bellow, so I learned to keep my mouth shut as a kid." She smiled a little. "But my dad's ok. He's just kinda clumsy. I look a lot like him actually..
But, further on. Well, I guess other as losing a lot of friends and important people to me, I'm still kinda ordinary! It happens, right?" Polt knew she had lost a lot of friends. Her sister, her mate, two of her best friends. "I think I should be happy I got to know them, that's something I shouldn't forget."

My character is a bit...difficult to role play. It (genderless and without a biological sex) doesn't speak aloud, and if one doesn't know about it, it doesn't make much sense at all. XD
It is watching, though. It is constantly in the forest, even when I'm not there to cause it to be physically manifested, so it is witnessing Poltergeist and Oisín talk. It's a good being, so they don't need to be worried about some creepy entity watching them. XD
Perhaps, one day, I'll find a way to make it easier for me to role play with people that haven't read my Atvana's (character) entire biography. For now, though, we shall watch.
This is interesting. 83

As usual, the split-pelted doe was at the ruins, among the graves. She lay there by one of the larger grave stones, still and quiet, almost like a statue. But she was alert as ever, always listening, in case anyone should come along to start trouble. And, of course, there was always the chance someone interesting might come by, though, for her, that was a fairly uncommon thing.
((pffttt...not much, but it's all I can think of right now))

"How? I don't really know... It's been this way for as long as I can remember." He sighed, and then smiled at her comment about making sense. As she spoke, Oisin listened with interest to her every word. "It sounds like your life has not been particularly easy," he says when she finishes. "But, I think you are right." He smiles. "That is a good thing to remember. Too many forget that, I think."
((well, I wanted to add more, but I can't seem to think of anything else.. x.x ))
(Don't worryyyy XDD) "Well,
"Well, yeah, it hasn't. But I always seem to get back up again, so it's ok." She looked down for a moment, her eyes fixed to the emerald around her neck. "They do. I understand it's hard to lose someone, I really do. But that doesn't mean oneself can't live on anymore." She smiled at Oisín before turning her head to the dragonfly's. "Maybe they gossip too. They'd tell whatever we've been speaking about to others! Miniature spies they are huh." Polt frowned a little before standing up again. "Let's take a stroll, my body's gone out cold because of the water." She shivered, shaking the water off of her fur.
Furfur slowly materialized in
"No, it doesn't." Oisín

Melinoe startled slightly at the other's intrusion, wondering why she hadn't sensed him coming. She stood, about to say something to him, but stopped herself when she realized she could sense something different about him. This deer was not an ordinary deer, but seemed to be more like the spirits that inhabited these graves. Except she could see him. Curious, she began to follow him, watching him. While she could sense the presence of spirits, this was only the second time she had come across a ghost which she could actually see. Perhaps there was something about them that made them different from the other spirits. Unsure what to do around this ghost, she simply continued to follow him, keeping a few paces behind.
Seele, *Laughlaugh.* You
*Laughlaugh.* You actually looked at that silly biography thing? And here I thought it was too obnoxiously long for anyone to bear! Either that, or you're relying off of what I mentioned in comments. Which is a lot more likely and reasonable to assert. XD
It's actually anything but shy; it just knows that it...may not be taken well, and since it can read and feel energy...
Well, how you you feel if you walked in a room where everyone turned and just stared/glared at you accusingly? XD It feels terrible causing others discomfort, so it usually avoids a lot of contact.
Though, I think I'll go for it. It's not mute, but its voice is scary so it doesn't use it (which I think I said before, but I'm too lazy to check since I'm in this window |D ). But hey, why not, right? XD
Thanks for the encouragement~ (Both to you, and Nuevapaz! :3)
A calm and quiet deer who has
Meanwhile, it watches Furfur and Melinoe with equal curiosity, but without a body. This could turn out poorly. I hope not. It worries a little to itself over their welfare, watching intently.
(I didn't read the bio before
"Do ask him! I wonder too!" She grinned. Polt turned her head around a bit, trying to find an interesting direction to go to. She noticed the deer at the bridge, from the corner of her eye, but wasn't sure if she should approach. "Uhmm.. Yeaah... " She tried turning around in circles. It didn't help much in searching for a nice place to go, but it did get her dizzy. "Haha, well we can just walk and see where the wind brings us." She said, halfly singing. "Or we could play a gaame. What about hide and seek?"
(Response to Seele: Ha. Well,
Atvana continues to watch intently as one of the deer turns circles. It smiles to itself. It heard of her tragedy, and admires that she can still play like a child would even after experiencing what would usually bring any grown being to its knees in agony.
Hide and seek? It thinks to itself. It wouldn't be fair for me to play that. It smiled again. It would take its fun from seeing them enjoy their games. They didn't need it bothering them.
Furfur continued to saunter
((Serenai: I did actually
Anyway, glad to have you join. ))
"A game? Hmm... Hide and Seek?" A puzzled look crossed his face. "I'm not sure I know that one. I don't know that I'd be very good at hiding or seeking." He gave a sheepish smile. "But I suppose there's no reason not to try."
----------
She stopped as the ghost hid himself in the tree, frowning. "I'd rather you not speak to me in such a way. And there is no point in hiding. Did you think I did not see where you went? It wouldn't matter in any case, as I can still sense you."
(That's ok
She blinked at him in confusion. "You haven't heard of hide and seek? I was taught it when I was a fawn! You missed out boy." She grinned again, and hopped around Oisín for a short moment. "Well, it works like this..." She said, while walking back to stand in front of him. "...One person is the seeker, and the others are the hiding. The seeker has to close his or her eyes, and can only open them when the hider bellows they're ready! So, well, the hider has to go hiding somewhere. And then the seeker has to find them. Did that make sense?" Polt tilted her head, looking at Oisín. "I'm a greeaat hider though, so you'd have to follow my scent." She grinned wide. "I ain't gonna make more sound as one bellow."
(Oh, I took long. XDD)
He peered out and leapt into
"Oh my, I'm sorry your highness. How dare I not treat someone following me without any polite hello or even a curtsy of acknowledgment with the up most respect. Clearly I am in the wrong here and should commence groveling immediately. I mean, everyone and the twin gods know that being dead automatically exempts you from being privileged to manners and common courtesy. "
He made true on his threat and knelt down in the air with his for legs buckled over and head tucked low to the ground. It was an overly dramatic gesture absolutely dripping with sarcasm. He could not help it, he did not take kindly to the commonplace gawking and shameless dumbfounded slack jawed following that the mortal deer of the forest took part in so often. He rarely would lower his antlers so readily for a common rude gesture like this, but he had no problems in making his displeasure known. He did it often with the other deer of the forest and would make no exception of it here.
He straightened up and sank down to her level, keeping his stature high to make up for his lack of antlers and nervously pawing the ground.
"How about we just start again properly this time? You bow, introduce yourself properly, and then I might consider forgetting your earlier faux pas."
((sorry for the late
"Well, maybe it's because I've never had many friends, and as a fawn I was much more timid than I am now." He gave a light chuckle. "Ah, it seems simple enough. Well, let's give it a try, then." He grinned.
----------
Her ears turned back in annoyance. "I gave you a suggestion, not an order. I do not see why you feel the need to mock me. Hm... And wherever did you get the idea that I am dead?"
She watched him, giving her head a slight tilt. His manner seemed to suddenly change. How odd... "Now your bravado leaves you so suddenly? There is no need to put up a front to intimidate me, if that was your intention." She closed her eyes momentarily, giving her head a slow shake. "Forgive me following you. While I can sense spirits, and communicate with them, in a manner of speaking, you are only the second I have been able to actually see. My intention was to observe without making contact, until I had learned more. I am not fond of directly approaching others I know little of." She opened her eyes again. "I do not care if you think me rude or discourteous. I suppose I am, in fact, though I have my reasons."
She sighed. "For someone who supposedly respects the dead, I suppose I haven't really been acting like it. Very well..." She gave a short, quick bow. If he had been a normal, mortal deer, she would have refused. Now, it just felt awkward at this point, so she didn't want to draw it out. "Oh, yes. My name is Melinoe."
((no antlers?))
((He just had them ripped off
He tilted his head and gave a polite bow. "And my name is Se-I mean Furfur. It is nice to meet you. " He shook his head and pawed the ground nervously. He had nearly slipped up and revealed more about himself than necessary. "I was referencing myself. I happen to be dead, you only seem to be half dead or at least oddly coloured." He eyed her strange appearance and gave a curious sniff. He could sometimes pick up a scent and she was a strange one.
"As for the bravado..well that is just me." He gave a hollow chuckle and did a quick summersault before prancing around her happily.
"So..Melinoe. What are you doing out all alone at the grave yard? Dreaming up depressing poems like the other deer who so often crowd around there Or showing some respect?"
((ah, I see)) "I
"I misunderstood, then. Half dead? In a manner of speaking, I suppose, though it's not quite that simple." She watched him, an eyebrow raised. His mood and behavior seemed to change rather quickly. How odd. "I am often here, but I am not alone. It only appears that way to most. The spirits are always here with me. I find the company of the dead to be much preferable to that of the living. Just as I prefer the shadows to the light."
Atvana smiled to itself upon
(Pft, sorry about MY late
"I understand." Polt looked at him, smiling. "I got teached by a stag actually. But enough talking, let's play!" She chuckled, making a small hop at the spot she was standing on. "I'll go hide first. Take your time, by the way. I don't want you end up getting hurt because of your leg." She gave a short glance to his leg before turning her gaze back.
Poltergeist walked over to quite a thick tree, nodding towards it with her head. "You stand here, and close your eyes. When there's a tree in your eyesight, I can be sure you're not peaking!" She did some steps backwards, giving Oisín space.
