Basic Information
Full Name: Kylar Lerrielle
Pictogram:
X
Age: 19
Gender: Stag
Size: 15 as shown on
This Chart
Build: Muscular
Orientation: Homosexual
Partner:
Toukan
Set: Zombie Antlers, Carnival Mask, Nightfall Pelt
Appearance
Kylar's appearance remains largely the same between his human and deer forms, he retains his blue eyes and spiky blonde hair. In deer form, aside from the aforementioned hair, his appearance is exactly as the in-game representation would suggest. In human form, he is 6' 3" with tan skin and an atheletic body, with two tattoos, one of an angel on his back, and one of his and Toukan's pictograms interlinked on his thigh. He displays a fondness for clothes with suggestive things on them.
Powers
Aside from the usual forest magic, Kylar has the ability to control lightning. This is done through a magical resonance with the lightning that runs through his blood, functioning as his nervous system. His control extends to various features of the lightning such as its colour and temperature. This lightning follows his direction; however, should something that acts a lightning rod be present, it will pull towards it and Kylar has to expend far more effort in order to get it to go where he wishes it to. It also leaves him more vulnerable. If he expends a lot of energy at once, his blood-lightning comes nearer to the surface and can be pulled from his body by a lightning rod which causes him intense pain. For this reason, he does not use his power in combat unless he sees no other option.
Combat Capability
Being the size that he is, and with his massive antlers, Kylar is a decent physical threat. A good degree of musculature ensures that Kylar is capable of inflicting damage and recieving it well. He is fond of charging, and in doing this can get overconfident, leading to an opening at his rear. He does not defend well against flanking and rear assaults. Being fit, he has decent stamina, however that extends only to actually continuing fighting, he does not heal particularly quickly.

It was one of those lazy days. Not yet overly hot, but no longer cold. Toukan rubbed at one of the fading scars he had on his side, the fur having almost completely grown back so it was hard to notice anymore, before laying his head back down in the patch of green plants he rested in, taking comfort in the sharp yet soothing scent that wafted to his nose every time he crushed a leaf.
He always did like mint. But it would never be number one on his list anymore. That spot was reserved for a certain dark-colored, lightning stag.
He wondered where Kylar was right now...
A couple of days in the
The air in the forest had warmed recently. It was strange that despite the fact that the weather didn't change often - and days could last for weeks, it still got warmer and colder as summer and winter came and went. It was as if the seasons were beyond the control of whomever controlled the weather - The Twin Gods, in the case of the forest. Kylar had never met one as he could recall, but he could remember that Toukan had mentioned seeing them sometimes. They appeared in the forest, seemingly whenever they felt like it, whenever they had a whim to do so. He travelled through the forest without particular haste, Toukan could usually be found around the trees that were their other home, and if he wasn't there, well usually Kylar could just follow....he wasn't sure what it was. It was an instinct that lead him around. Sort of like by smell, but that wasn't just it, there was something else. He just was never sure what it was.
He approached the trees, Toukan was elsewhere, but if his instinct was right, he wasn't far. Kylar set out to find him...

Sorry for the late response, got really busy yesterday. We did some cleaning and then watched Eurovision and I didn't want to go on the internet so as to avoid spoilers.
(Heh. It's cool. I was out
He almost felt himself drift off, but caught himself from doing so at the last minute when he noticed a familiar presence in the Forest. He wasn't sure how he knew, but it was something he never questioned.
Toukan raised his head, a few bits of mint that clung to him falling back to the ground, scanning the area in hopes of spotting Kylar since he was sure he sensed him not too far away.
Kylar followed the trail of
"Hey there," Kylar said as he drew into easy earshot, voice as usual, like liquid silk pouring forth from his mouth, lightly accented giving away his Scottish origin. Since he was a little excited to have found Toukan, the accent was a little stronger than normal, changing the sound of the words to a more distinctly Scottish lilt. It was an accent that he hadn't heard from anyone else in the forest, so he had seen some of the residents give him funny looks whenever they overheard it. He wasn't ever sure if that was a good thing.
Ah, there he was. Toukan
The bright smile shot at him was mirrored by his deer-like muzzle as he got to his feet. The range of movement his face had was another thing he didn't bother to question. Some things just were, and that was that.
"Hey," the reindeer replied, stepping closer to nuzzle his boyfriend in greeting. He failed to notice that some mint leaves decided to come with him, clinging to his fur in a few places.
Kylar returned the nuzzle
"Sorry I was away longer than I expected," Kylar said, "We kinda screwed up the training, so they made us do it again. I did call a couple times, but ya must of been here." His tone was purposefully light, he held no annoyance, no irritation that Toukan wasn't there to pick up his call. Much of his boyfriend's life was in the forest or at the Dojo that his sister owned and he couldn't and didn't expect Toukan to simply wait around for him to be around or to call.
Hopefully, Toukan would be similarly unannoyed by the fact that he had been away longer than he had expected.
So that was what happened.
He wondered how he would handle Kylar being away for much longer periods of time...but this wasn't the time to think of such a thing. He'd worry about that when and if it actually happened. Hopefully later than sooner.
Toukan felt a spark of guilt at learning he'd missed his lover's phone calls, though. He would carry a cell phone, but he doubted one would even be useable here, let alone survive the journey over.
He mentally shook the feeling off, hoping it hadn't shown on his face. "Tough training?" His voice held an underlying tone of asking how he was.
He considered the question a
"It's not that it was hard as such," He began his explanation honestly, "It was more that...well, it was stealth training. We're a bunch of big guys haha, we haven't mastered the art of hiding ourselves." He laughed at the memory of it. A few of them, Kylar included were a good bit over six feet. Their appearance wasn't subtle and even with the camoflague it hadn't been hard for the other teams to find them, the first time. When they had gone back and done it again, they had adapted. They had learned quickly, so the second time had been a lot quicker for them. The exercise had been to hide from the other groups, and the groups scored points based on how long they avoided detection and those below a certain number had to do it over and over until they were sucessful. Kylar explained this to Toukan.
"But, overall, I'm fine," Kylar said, "How've you been?" He didn't want to hog the conversation topics, he was genuinely interested in how his lover was getting on.
Toukan tried not to laugh,
"Nothing to complain about really," he answered, lifting a shoulder in a shrug. There wasn't really anything eventful to report since the last time they'd seen each other. Not really anyway.
He wondered if he should mention how things were going at Suiren's house, since his brother had been living there for around a month now. Come to think of it, he should probably visit again sometime...especially since the last time he'd seen Kinsha, he seemed to have something on his mind.
"Come on, something
That smirk worried him. It
He snorted at the jab at how he slept so much. But wait.
Leaves?
He frowned, looking around a bit...and finally noticing the mint leaves clinging to him from when he'd been lying in the plants. Toukan felt his face redden a bit in embarrassment. He hadn't even noticed. "...who says the leaves weren't on purpose?" It was a sad attempt at saving face, and he knew it, but he wasn't really trying to anyway.

[Sorry, meant to reply
"Interesting fashion statement then, love," Kylar said, the smirk could be heard in his voice with his amusement over the idea, "Not many could pull off such an interesting fashion idea, but on you they work. Goes well with your rather minty scent." As he reached the end of his sentence, his ability to hold back laughter reached its end and with a rather loud inhale as if he couldn't breathe, he burst into very loud and very amused laughter.
"They aren't right?" He asked through the laughter.
Toukan shook with repressed
He almost couldn't get out the statement before his words were drowned out with laughs that threatened to knock him back into the plants he'd stood up from. He finally did fall back onto his haunches, pausing for only a second before continuing to laugh from where he sat on the ground.
Dimly, he realized that anyone walking by would probably think them insane, but he hardly cared right now.
Kylar's laugh was interrupted
His thoughts returned to the moment as his laughter finally paused when he realised that he was going to need to take a breath.
His laughter decided that was
While he worked on catching his breath, Toukan looked down, noticing that while a few leaves had fallen loose, more were probably clinging to him from his unplanned sitting. He snorted, climbing back to his hooves to shake the mint off, with moderate success. He'd probably need to manually pick the rest off.
"Need help, love?" Kylar
He kicked those thoughts out, those were unhappy thoughts that took him away from his time with his boyfriend, so they had to remain in the drawer for now. They were thoughts to be used to distract during training.
"Hm?" Toukan lifted his head
Kylar let out a light chuckle
"More clung to you than I thought," Kylar commented.
He blinked down at the leaf

"As well as who?" Kylar

Toukan blinked. That caught
Kylar was not even surprised
"As a matter of fact, I don't really know why I came to see you," He replied doing his best to make his tone totally dead and robotic sounding and to make the tease more effective, he concentrated a little on the necklace around Toukan's neck to turn it totally grey. That was a colour his lightning did not go very often since he was a passionate person, but that was the colour of total disinterest.
Either something was very
Noticing the look of worry
"Don't worry love," Kylar said, tone immediately full of concern, the necklace turning the dark blue of Kylar feeling bad, "Pushed further than I meant to with the joke. M'sorry." He kissed the top of Toukan's head in a comforting gesture.
Relief instantly flooded him.
Kylar smirked at the notion,
"Maybe," He agreed though, not really sure what he wanted to say in answer to that, "Shame that it was a good performance. Don't like upsetting you."
Toukan was suddenly hit with
(Who are you, and what have you done with Toukan.)
"I'm offended," Kylar smirked
[Kylar's been rubbing off on him?
Giggidy]Toukan lifted a brow, setting
Kylar snorted and leaned in
"Oh don't worry love," He whispered softly, his tone filled with the confidence of someone aware that they knew exactly what they were doing, "I'll have you on your knees, begging me for whatever I wish in moments. I know that, and more importantly, you know that." At the end of his comment, his tongue may have slipped across his lips, and his lips gently touched Toukan's for a single moment, but it was a single moment only. This was a little peck to tease - nothing else.
He tried not to shudder, but
So much for the look of disinterest.
"A-ha!" Kylar exclaimed upon
He snorted in amusement at
"Know love," Kylar answered,
