Kita giggled and tilted her head as she pranced along beside him, nuzzling her head into his warm fur "Fleas Boris? You don't have fleas" she smiled up at him, nuzzling again.
“Do you have to do that?” He snapped at her, turning away from her and slowly trotting toward the blue bowl. He knew it was stupid to get angry with her, but after what had almost happened he could not be to careful. "Disgusting His fangs popped together in his frustration. The damned deer had way to much control now. He despised being stuck in such a beasts body. It was shameful. How in all hell could Asaroth live with himself, how could he even call himself a demon? Des snarled. It probably isn’t so bad for that bastard since he chose to be a deer. Des was forced to be one. Damn him, him and his little whore. He could not wait to sink his fangs into that little black doe. In his twisted mind everything was her fault, Her whole existence. Why the fuck did he even allow that THING into his kingdom? None of his suffering would have come about if she had never come into the picture. The demon settled himself amongst the blue flowers, flopping down with a snort.
Kita cringed back away from him as he snapped at her, sighing gently as she looked down slowly, tail flicking. She shifted uncertainly, glancing away then back up toward where he was going. She sighed and turned, walking along after him quietly
He could sense her standing there. He flicked an ear in her direction. Des didn’t know what to do about her at the moment. He could not just ignore her. She was to vital, but at the same time her wanted to chase her off growling and snapping. When she was around the deer mind got out of control. He could not afford those kind of set backs and distractions, and he certainly didn’t want to father some worthless animal. He raised his head and looked at her. “I am just tired..”
Kita stepped back a couple of feet, glancing away before she looked back toward him, "I understand.. I will leave you to rest. Sleep is the best medicine when you are tired" she smiled and stepped back slowly, turning and slipped away.
Good he was rid of her for the time being. A part of him wanted to call her back, but he refused. It was probably just the annoying deer’s idea anyway. He would never admit to himself that he might actually be lonely. There was someone or something to blame for everything he felt. Emotions were ignorant things. Another day was gone. Or he assumed it so. There was no since of time in the forest. It was constant day and rarely night. He despised it. The demon let out a yawn and drifted off to sleep.
*Next day*
Kita stood near the pond, head lowered, grazing on the wispy grass that grew along the edges of the water, tail flicking. Her head lifted, glancing toward the blue bowl. She still hadn't seen Boris.. she hoped that he wasn't too mad with her. She sighed and looked back ahead, continuing to eat.
Des awoke to the sounds of birds and the sun beating down on him. "Just another glorious day He wished for a night, just one. He grumbled and got to his feet, stretching and yawning, shaking his fur. He looked around the area for his little pawn. She was no where to be seen. He rolled his eyes. "Probably sent her off in tears." He was annoyed that she didn’t crawl back to him and that he had to waste time looking. He made his way down to the pond she was almost always near that area. He slipped up on her quietly and stood there some time before speaking. “You didn’t come back.”
Kita leapt startled and quickly spun around to look at him, eyes widening as she trembled but relaxed as she noticed Boris. "Oh.. well I did tell you that I would let you rest" she smiled and chuckled gently, tail flicking back and forth
“I didn’t expect you to keep your word.” He tilted his head to look at her. “I was expecting you to come back..I might not want you at my side all the time, but you are never to just up and leave. At least stay where I can see you."
She frowned a little bit, she always kept her word to him but gave a small little nod "I will make sure that I stay closer from now on" she said softly, tail flicking a tiny bit, tilting her head
“Good. With this rut going on I would prefer that you stayed close.” Lies, but if it kept him from having to hunt her down he would tell them. “Would not want some other stag moving in on you behind my back.”
"You don't have to worry about that, I would never leave you for another stag Boris" she smiled and giggled gently, tail flicking as she watched him
“Females can’t be trusted.” He watched her carefully , by his tone it was impossible to say if he was joking ,but he wasn’t. He didn’t trust them at all, he had never been given a reason to. In his mind they were spiteful trouble makers, good for one thing if the were worthy of that.
Kita's ears pressed back to her head and she stomped a foot, glaring at him "I would not do that Boris. I would not just ditch you for the first stag who happened to catch my eye"
Irritation. he had not seen that from her yet and was a bit surprised, at least he could tell then when some line had been crossed. Obviously doubting her, was not a good thing to do out loud. He would try to refrain. “Good , now let’s go.” He wandered off, nose to the air as he went.
She watched after him a moment, frowning uncertain but she sighed a little, following after him quietly, glancing around the morning forest "So.. how was your morning?"
“Bright like always.” He glanced back to her. ”Yours?” He turned his attention, back ahead of him, never slowing. His nose continued to work the air around him, sorting out the scents as he tried to pick up Night and Asaroth. he wanted to speed up the process of killing them if it was possible. The faster he found them the better.
"It was fine" she commented, glancing away and shifted before she looked back ahead, sighing softly "It could have been better but it was not all that terrible."
“Oh?” He paused to scan his surroundings. "No sign of them damn... How was it bad?”
"I had trouble moving this morning... I tend to get rather stiff when I have been laying in one place for too long when it is cold like this" she shook herself a little, walking after him
He grumbled irritated. No since in searching for something that was not there. Maybe later. He shook his head and settled down among some tall grass. He was not tired, just simply settling in to watch the area a bit more closely. “See you should have come back then. It would have not been as cold where I was.”
Kita gave a tiny nod, tilting her head a little, sighing softly as she watched him lay down, "Yes.. I'll remember that" she smiled weakly, glancing away then back to him uncertainly, laying down a little ways away. He seemed to like his personal space...
The doe seemed in a way unsure of him now. The way she watched him. He was becoming less and less sure if that was love for Boris or suspicion. He didn’t need her doubting. That would break his power over her. He looked at her and sighed, pondering. He didn’t have to like it but he could try interacting with her a bit better.

End of part 5.
***VERY IMPORANT NOTE!!***
AliceV's character Boris (Kita's mate) IS NOT AT ALL IN THIS STORY. This will be important later on but just so everyone is clear, Boris is in no way associated with the story, just Des appearing like Boris to Kita.
