He stared at her a long time. The doe was obviously very much in love with her Boris. He sighed and watched the forest for awhile. He knew his little plan go south quick if he was not careful. He didn’t know how much love he could take before her had to force her away. He snorted and tossed his antlers and lowered his head back down to sleep. Hopefully his time with the doe would be short
*Couple of days later*
Kita pranced through the morning dew, tail flicking back and forth as she looked around, pausing briefly to looked back over toward Boris. She smiled, tail flicking before looking startled, leaping after a frog.
Des started the morning the way he had the last few, hitting trees. Why he was doing it he had no idea. It was something the ignorant deer mind wanted to do. He for one wanted to stop. He had a terrible headache. The big stag would rip up one small tree by the roots and stop panting and heaving only to run at full speed and rip into another. After one last tree killing her looked up to see where Kita had gone. He snorted and made his way over to her shaking drops of blood from his aching forehead
She tilted head slightly as she studied the blood, slowly moving over to meet him part way, chuckling lightly "Why are you banging your head into the trees?" she asked, stretching her nose out to touch her muzzle to his forehead, tail flicking back and forth
“Wish I knew.” He grumbled, flicking a fly away from his ear. “I feel like I’m going insane honestly.” Des had gotten a bit more comfortable talking around her. A little bit of time had a way of doing that. It’s not that he was shy. He just didn’t know how to talk to anything or anyone without screaming, having calm conversation was not something he was used to
She nodded and laughed weakly "Perhaps it has to do with the rut?" she tilted her head before she looked around at a crack, watching stags crash into each other
“Possible” He followed her gaze to the fighting stags.”If I had an interest in that pointless ritual.”
She chuckled softly "Many of the stags won't actually have fawns.. many just fight each other and try to show that they have the most fawns.."
“I do not feel like I have anything to prove to the likes of them.” He snorted. “I know well who I am and what I can do, without wasting my time and energy.” He glanced at her. “And I’m sure over half do not sire fawns because by the time they are done bashing their brains out they probably don’t know a doe from a tree hole.”
She laughed and nodded slowly, tilting her head and flicked her tail "I understand what you mean" she shifted "Well, you have nothing to worry about" she smiled and turned, trotting off toward the pond
“Oh?” He tilted his head slightly and followed after her in his slow carful pace. “I would be flatted if you thought that because I’m too intimidation to be approached by any of these fools, but I can tell you have some other meaning, do you not?”
She looked over toward him and laughed gently "Well that too, but more that I wouldn't just run off to some other stag" she smiled, tail flicking as she slowed near the pond, lowering her head to drink
"Of course not" He rolled his eyes and Made his way to the ponds edge and took a few slow gulps of water. Des was not entirely sure how he felt about that. On one side she would be with just him, probably driving him insane with touching and nuzzling through the whole rut ordeal, but on the other side if she stayed with just him, he would not have to sink his fangs into any idiots. He loved violence of course, just not work. And chasing away idiots was work. "Touching and nuzzling" his mind drifted back to that topic. "That I could do without.." The deer in him however rather liked the idea. “Good.”
She looked over toward him, tail flicking a little and chuckled gently, tilting her head "Ya" she gently nuzzled his neck before splashing him and laughed, bounding away
"Exactly like that" He shook his fur and trotted after her, tossing his heavily spiked antlers, with a snort .His trot quickly turned into a dead run and he caught up to her easily. “I do not like being splashed"
She laughed and bounded away from him faster, looking back over toward him, "Oh come on now" she giggled "It's not that bad" she pranced away pleased
“Yes it is.” He growled creeping after her. “I hate it. The way each individual drop crawls down my skin. So irritating."
She continued back away from him, tail flicking weakly as she tilted his head "Why? You do not like water?" she lowered her ears back against her head, worried
“I do not dislike water. I just do not care for being splashed.” He stalked after her antlers lowered.
She continued to back away from him, eyes widening a little before she turned and bolted, bounding away
“Something wrong?” He growled continuing to stalk towards her, trying to close the distance between them.
She looked back toward him, prancing sideways, tilting her head a tiny bit "Why are you chasing me?" she asked softly, tail flicking uncertainly, smiling weakly
“Why not?” He said simply, stopping to scrutinizing her face. ” You were running from me.”
She tilted her head as she watched him, tail flicking back and forth, "You were chasing me.. because I was running?" she smiled weakly "That seems a little backwards, shouldn't I be running because you are chasing me?" she moved over toward him
“Yes I think you should.” He growled and lowered his antlers to her, giving her a gentle shove. The deer in his mind was screaming and raging to come out. She held a spark that was threatening to turn into a raging inferno
She blinked startled before she laughed and turned, bounding away from him through the trees, Boris wanted to chase her so she would run for him.
He took off after her slowly at first, savouring the chase, slowly he began to pick up speed. A growl building in his throat. The deer in him took over and soon he was at her side, swing his antlers at her attempting to drive her.
She looked to him and sprung sideway away from the antlers, bounding quickly from the stag as he herd her deeper into the forest away from the pond
He attempted to drive her to the playground where he knew he could easily pen her against the stones. He was not sure why he wanted to catch her, but the deer had a few ideas, ones he didn’t want to act on. but he was losing his control over his own body with each passing second. "Disgraceful"
She looked back toward the stag, continuing to bound away from him, changing direction as he continued to drive her, moving quickly away from the horns. She skid to a stop, arching up into a partial rear before the stones of the playground, looking back to him
Des stopped and surrounded her with his horns holding her in place, panting as he tried to get back his energy. He glance up at her, eyes darkening. The big stag growled at her, his fur bristling as he tried to judge her next move. He had to be ready to give chase if she chose to run. “Scared?’ He grated out, lowering his gaze back to the ground as he held her.
She quickly looked around as his antlers pinned her in, gulping weakly "A little, but I mean.. you wouldn't hurt me?" she had never been chased by Boris before, never like this, but perhaps the rut was making him act funny..
“No.” He lifted his head and released her. He moved closer to her, growling as he pressed his nose to her neck. He was completely gone. The small part in the back of his mind that tried to rationalize was nothing more than a whisper.
She gave a little shiver, smiling a little as she watched him burry his muzzle into her fur. "Thank you" she whispered and nodded a tiny bit, tail flicking back and forth pleased.
He worked his way down the length of her body, nuzzling and growling low against her fur, his fangs lengthened and emerged further from his lips. ”Will you run again?” He growled ,glancing back at her. Any shred of control was gone, and the deer mind rejoiced, that she was being so calm, but it had to know for sure.
"Why would I want to run away?" She looked back toward him as he nuzzled down over her short fur. She blinked a little startled, tilting her head and pricked her ears up toward him, studying the stag beside her.
“Same..reason..any would.” He quickly swung his head, buffeting her flank with his muzzle
She tilted her head and scooched forward away from him, "I don't understand, why would I want to run away from you" She turned to face him, tilting her head a little. She stepped forward, chuckling and nuzzled into his fur. "It isn't as though you are scary"
The big stag growled at her, thoroughly disappointed that she had moved away from him. The deer inside Des raged. It wanted to drive her again it wanted to force her into submission. "No. I will not allow it" Des’s rational mind was starting to come back. The doe's hesitation had dropped the deer’s focus and allowed him to work his way back in. "This is the last thing I want. I won’t let you wreck my plans you ignorant beast." The deer was caught completely off guard, by his sudden interruption and quietly returned to the back of the demons mind. Des was in control again. "Just in time.." Des walked away from Kita. “Why else? I probably have fleas in all my fluff.”

End of part 4.
***VERY IMPORANT NOTE!!***
AliceV's character Boris (Kita's mate) IS NOT AT ALL IN THIS STORY. This will be important later on but just so everyone is clear, Boris is in no way associated with the story, just Des appearing like Boris to Kita.
Oooh so intense!
Quote:they probably don’t
Okay I'm really glad nobody was home to hear me laugh at that. Like really.
That was close! Poor Kita.. I'm really worried about how she's going to react when she finds out about fake!Boris.. 8'(
