Shimmy - I don't mind updates, but when I post something and I have to update it twice because it has disappeared from the page within 5 minutes...yeeeaaahhh...XD;;;
I like having my update thing so people will know if something is going on, like when my internet was bad, people would know why I suddenly disappeared with no warning. Or when I'm playing on my old laptop (like now), they'll know why I'm moving and responding so slow. ^^; But we really do seem to need a separate section for these things now. D= At least for bio's, so we don't have to search for them. And maybe even stories, for the same reason. I'd like to be able to find them.
Actually, I think an option on whether or not to bump your post to the top might be a good idea. I hate when I have to edit something minor on an older post and it immediately goes to the top. NOT that important XD
I think if someone wants to make deer updates that's ok, make the updates, but link your deer's biography in the updates, edit the bios without bumping to the top, and I think the bulk of the posts would be eliminated that way?
Sorta like how deviantART has the option to notify your watchers about an update to a journal entry or not. Could be useful if we don't get new sections. =]
mm, agreed ^^ I like the idea of the updates, but when everyone has them, and when a lot of people update them a lot, it's kind of like.. update overkill 0.o I think the easiest and most convenient way to have them, and also have people access them, is to have a link right on the user page.. info place thingy. That way it's right there, it doesn't kill the boards, and it's easy to find.
I dunno if M&A would add that, though -shrugs-

I agree on seperate sections for biographies and updates! It would make reading a lot easier. But what about fiction/other writing? Does it need it's own category? (well, art (pictures) have their own category...)
