Afternoon, After Rain

If you live in an area that frequently gets storms in the middle of the afternoon only to have the storms clear up by twilight, you may notice that the sun on the clouds gives off an odd yellowish-orange glow.

Technique Used: After I installed my graphics tablet, a thingie called "nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 Selective" popped up whenever I started photoshop. I played with some of the buttons, and I edited this screenshot with the Brilliance/Warmth settings.

so that's what that little box does.....I noticed it too when I got my tablet. I just thought it was some little annoying thing trying to get me to do something stupid XD

I used to live in an area like that. I remember one time the entire sky was a bright orange color. I miss that place :C

I know what that's like. The foothills around here are tinged a soft orange-like golden color, and the sky is a deep, yet soft, blue. Often, there are rainbows :3
