*refrains from making a lame joke about papercuts*
I should go holding crafting moments for grannies and kids, I've been crafting so much lately. Two b-day cards within two days and now this.
But I've been wanting to make one of these for a long while and now I did. Think I'll make one of Marrok as well as soon as I'll have the time. |B

Thank you so much for the
And for those curious of the construction part:
Basically I would just glue two duplicates together.
First I drew the first part on thick paper, colored it and cut it out.
Then I used this piece to trace a duplicate piece on another paper. In this piece I changed the position of the character's other hind leg, brought it more forward on the duplicate. I also left the neck/head and tail off just to save myself from the trouble of cutting the mane and mouth again, gahh. It would have been a trouble. Luckily Cut's neck stripe helped to make it look more seamless.
Then I just finished drawing and coloring the other side as well and glued the pieces together. I glued only the top parts together and left the legs and bottom parts open so I could smoothly bend the legs apart enough to make him stand.
Hope this makes any sense to you guys. :>

Ah, thank you. Glad you like
Aaand no, I drew him straight on white cardboard. But I believe regular paper is good as well if it's not overly thin. Depends on how big you're making it, really. This one turned out rather big so I'm glad I picked the sturdier option over a regular paper. Those long legs would have turned out noodles on thinner paper. But with smaller pieces normal paper should work just fine! (and I bet it would be easier to cut as well..)
Thanks for explaining, and
It looks cooler every time I view this topic. You could make a Cut army littering your home >8D haha.
Off topic, but manta-cut in your signature makes me smile.
