Time - All day (I'll try to log into the Forest around 7:00 AM CST, and will most likely log out around 8:00-10:00 PM CST)
Place - Run's memorial near the Ruins (see below for a few screenshots of where to sit) We prefer you sit around the light, and please do not stand/dance in the center.
No dress code, wear whatever you have on at the time.

Look for Quad, and please feel free to sit with him as long as you'd like. Please keep in mind that I will not be at my laptop the entire time, but just being there with Quad if only for a little while is all you need to do.
If you guys don't mind, please take screenshots for me. And if you can't make it, please don't feel bad, I understand completely.

It's amazing that it's been a year since Dad passed away from rectal and liver cancer. I can still remember last year very vividly, and since then, we've gotten to our 'new normal' as they say. There are still things that feel awkward, still things that remind us of Dad, still things we cry over from time to time. But it's over and we know he's at peace. Just knowing Dad isn't suffering the way he was is enough for us.
I wanted to thank you all for your support last year. I don't know where I would be - physically, emotionally, and mentally - without this community's love.
My brother made this video and posted it on Facebook this morning. I'm going to post it here but if for any reason he or my Mom don't want me to share it, I will remove it. I just thought it would be something you guys would like to see, and my brother makes wonderful videos.

I'm glad I was able to be here today for your dads remembrance, and thank you for dedicating it to Norway, too. My friend was caught in it, and I'm so glad he is alive; my thoughts are with him and the friends he has sadly lost.
At first I didn't know what the large circle of stags and fawns in the forest was meant for so I asked in the screenshot section. After realizing that it was a memorial I went over to where it was taking place and sat there for about an hour with everyone else. When I first saw the circle I didn't run around like it was a party. I'm glad that I didn't because I would've felt terrible if I did.
The peaceful atmosphere was great and I'm glad that I could be there to support those who became a victim in Norway and those who passed because of cancer. This is only the second event that I've been to in my couple of years of being a member and I'm glad that it was one of the first that I attended.
It was an honor to be able to sit with you all today in quiet repose. It does the old heart good to see everyone coming together. From the somber adults to the cheerful fawns that seemed determined to be happy and play (life goes on, hmm?) it was a lovely scene.
I think we need to have more organized events like this. I think they really bring us all together.
I wanted to ask if it's okay if I made a separate blog later and put all the screenshots and edits together so we can see all the variety? I'll credit each person for taking each one

I think this was a really successful event, and it could not have been possible if it wasn't for each and every one of you, even if you couldn't make it just keeping the people of Norway in your prayers was wonderful.
I wanted to thank you guys for such a wonderful day, I think taking the time to slow down and reflect was very beneficial.
Thanks to all of you for this nice day. I absolutely agree Sobek, I love this feeling of solidarity. One day to remember.

I don't think people mind if you log off now, Quad. It has been a really nice gathering, and that people show this kind of sympathy makes me admire our community even more.

I enjoyed being with the other deer in the forest, but it was a day to think about those who were lost so it wasn't something to be goofing around at. Plenty of deer came to show their respect and it made me happy to know that this community is that great.
I don't think he's in the screenshots, but I had Oliver sit in the circle for a while. He sang a lullaby to put everyone at ease, as he is wont to do. It was a lovely and emotional event, and I'm glad that I could be there for it. ♥
It shocked me when I heard about Norway, it's awful. I'm one of those people who wish they could be right there and help somebody, but haven't the slightly idea what they would do. And I really have nothing good and deep to say about your father. If I did it would seem empty. But I watched the video and he has a nice smile. He seems like a calm person. (: I never like talking about people who have passed away in past tense, I just don't, because they're never completely gone. ♥ So... Instead of me talking, here's music.
