(Below I've posted the first of a video diary type thing that I'm going to start for Tsudo. It's a test on quality/sound/ and other things. I will be videoing most of my days in the forest from here on out, and many deer will be in these future videos. This meant to show the things he sees, and how he sees them. He's a care free kind of guy and shrugs things off easily. He's optimistic and loves the ladies. If you're shown in this video or in future videos, please don't take offense to whats in them. I'm going to try to make these pretty humorous, because thats the kind of character I want Tsudo to be. A comic relief, because thats what he is to me. I need humor in my life, and I try to bring that out in Tsudo as much as I can. Now... after all thats been said xD Enjoy the short video.)
LOL I loved this~!! xD I actually thought about doing the same, but I think people prefer my writing. And what did you use to record this? The sound and quality was absolutely fantastic.
Thank you! I used Fraps, but I have a pretty large graphics card too, and I usually get about 40 frames per second while in the forest... if there are a lot of people then it goes down to around 25-30. So, that probably helped with the graphics.... Youtube kind of killed the graphics of it, I thought, but thats to be expected I guess. x)
I wasn't sure if it was Fraps because I didn't see the little www.fraps.com thing at the top. 40 FPS?!?!? WOW~!! The most mine has ever gotten to it 23, and it usually lingers around 16-21. But wow, yeah - whenever I record with Fraps, the fps go down to around 4 or 6 during the recording.
And, another question xD Is there a way to prolong the recording duration time while filming? Because every recording I do doesn't last very long at all, and I wasn't sure if there was a way to keep it going without having to press the record hotkey over and over again.
Well, when you buy fraps, the fraps logo no longer shows up on your screen and you can record for hours and hours until you have no more room on your computer. xD
I play a lot of games so I bought the parts to this computer and put it together. I made sure it was going to be a good gaming computer that would last me a while... But I probably spent a little too much on it x.x;
I think to buy fraps is 37 dollars but... I'm sure you can find the full version to download somewhere :X
xD It's funny because your character took a while to react to Tsudo's approach. Oh well, I guess he knows better the next time he see's your Corvus x)!
Lmao Thanks, today with around 40 people playing, and Fraps running I had around 30 frames. It played pretty well!
Yeah, all my details are pretty high, it's fun to turn everything off though, and get 60+ fps though xD
Opps. Approaching others is pretty much a trial and error type of thing. If Tsudo frightens others with his approach, he knows not to do that the next time he sees them. But not all deer in the forest are like that, so I'll keep making Tsudo do what he does xD If he continues to frighten others, in the future, then I'll probably have him come in with a more calm approach. He's more of a *BAM* IM HERE LETS GO, kind of guy. xD I really need to make a bio for him sometime >.>;
I have a video uploading to youtube, now. Just waiting for it to finish, and even after it finishes I still have to wait a bit for the quality to improve, because youtube slowly ups the quality for some reason?? I dunno.
Wow...that's amazing. I only get a max of about...13-15 fps, and that's only on really good days 8D
Before, I used to shrink the window manually, and I actually got as many as 25fps, but I stopped doing that when I realized that I couldn't see pictos anymore ._.
That's very true, and that's a good tactic to go by. Still, there aren't too many deer that are skiddish like that. Corvus, Talla, and Vangelo are really the only ones I can list off the top of my head that are very skiddish and don't react well to fast movements.
Yes, YouTube is pretty bad about it if you have an HQ video. I know for me, it can take almost half the night for a really high quality video to be able to be viewed in its full quality.
Ha! You caught my deer's son,
I liked your commentary. "oof!" hehe.
Haha Thanks n.n Maybe, Tsudo

I look forward to see more of these! I like watching videos of others playing the game (:
