Fallen back into thinking the world is against him, a thought he hasn't crossed in a while. Wonders if he's being punished for reasons unbeknownst to him or because he's different and he's not like other kids, what their suppose to be like, but these are just a few thoughts among many many others.

Barely moved from his tree since he found himself struggling to get around and breathe, mostly asleep due to the physical exhaustion and pain his body is going through.

Way sicker since his encounter with Aleta some days ago.

Had a conversation with Aleta when she found him that left him confused and a smidge insulted but more confused than anything.

"Do you need help?"

"What do you mean help?"

"Oh."
"I don't know. Some fruit? Or medicine?"
"Got some things from friends and my mama said to help others that might need it."

"Does it look like I need it?"

"I'm sorry."

Caught a glimpse of her watery eyes and was surprised to see her leave.

"Hey! Wait!"

Impulse drove him to follow after her. Probably too hastily as he was short of breath and almost stumbling when he stopped a few feets from where she was with Neli.

"Wait..."
"Why did... you run off?"

Didn't pay mind to two other kids who entered the scene, Leovys and Raenhaisaile, but left when Aleta didn't reply. Pagan walked in front of him shortly after, didn't hang around. Did try greeting her back and her company though, Sub.

Time with childhood mates Bhaelum and Seaglass, individually, after a long absence.

Pagan came in to check on him. Confused by her antics as she hopped around him with a red wool blanket in her mouth and all too happy as she cast it over him but left surprised to hear that it was a gift.

"This is for you."
"It will keep you warm this winter, when you need it, dear."

"Thanks."

Took a moment to inspect the blanket before pulling his attention back to Pagan.

"Seen Lemon around by chance?"

"I'm sorry, love."
"I miss her dearly, and I wish I knew where she was."

Knew the answer before it was said but still felt himself break inside. Suspicion confirmed, more terrified to ask his Father for the same result or maybe even worse. With a kiss to the forehead clenches his teeth. Pagan points towards a direction.

"You're welcome to spend some time with me tonight."
"I would be happy to have you."

Took up the offer and followed her. Went over to visit another lady, Uy. Greeted her after Pagan did. Three of them sat down together for a bit before Pagan started to do more of her crazy antics towards him.

"What are you doing?"

"If you have to ask you'll never know."

Resists the urge to stick his tongue out at her as she did to him. Eventually she stops. Simply watched her and Uy be crazy together for a bit. Sighs.

Then made their way to the pond to visit Nawfar after saying goodbye to Uy. Rested as the two messed around on and off. Even took a short nap.

Woke to noisy kids yelling. Initially irritated but lost it when one bumped into him. Batted at the kids who wouldn't fight back. Pagan came in to stop him a few times though that left him more frustrated. Ran off to bleurgh and cry.

Found by Pagan and Nawfar much later. Only really noticed them when Pagan tucked him more into the blanket. Fell asleep late in the night in their company.

[Christmas Day]
What is Christmas?
No but seriously he is oblivious to the holiday.

Replaced the old spider web with a fresh one. Instead of being wrapped around his head it's bundled up and stuck to his temple.

Spent some time with Aleta who was sitting right in front of him and he didn't even realize until moments later.

Went on a walk to stretch his legs and to shake the snow off along with Aleta.

Settled somewhere before she had to leave.

[Christmas Eve]
Picked a fight with a kid who bumped into him.

“Sorry.”

“Stop right there.”
“Running off after you knock into someone?”

But a friend of theirs came into the scene.

“Hey hey…”
“The mood here’s a little off.”

Stepping between them intimidatingly, facing him.

“If we need to discuss matters~”
“How about we do it much later?”
“What do you think?”

Backed off. Didn’t agree to what they said however about discussing matters later.

Unknowingly bypassed one of the kid’s friends. They looked back for a second to see him hit a tree he went around.

Soon learned of the kid’s name from someone, Zhan Zheng.

At one point walked passed the larger intimidating kid from earlier but pretended not to notice them. Learned of their name when quite a few other kids came by to interact with them, Moss.

Found the trio. Stood behind them before two of them turned around ready to depart. Glared at each other. Walked forward.

“Don’t be so nervous.”
“I’m only after this kid here.”

“Later isn’t even here yet.”
“What are you in such a hurry for…”

“I never agreed to wait until then.”

Pinned Zhan Zheng against the tree they were standing in front of by the throat. Immediately interrupted by their friend, the one he couldn’t put a name to, who sternly placed a tight hand on his forearm.

“You’ll have to beat me first…”

And with that ended up wrestling with this kid instead.

Fight was kept 1v1. Even though it didn’t last long, probably a minute or less, lost. Got a good whack to the temple which caused him to fall unconscious. Also vomited just before due to going a little nuts from the physical contact, the reason he got rekt. Yup. Had to sit up and go bleurgh when they got off of him.

There was something Zhan Zheng’s friend said before delivering the final blow.

“If you dare lay a hand on him…”
“I will never let you off…”

Hello darkness my old friend.

Finally woke after being out for some hours. Found a small candle beside him (thank you Aleta you sweet thing ;;). Picked up the lit candle and took his sorry ass over to the pond. Cold and stiff, not to mention still bleeding and a little groggy as well.

Wrapped a clean spider web around his head and went home.

Faced two strangers, Bishop and Sloane. Former joined him at one point and the latter approached momentarily at a later time.

Sulked with Pagan.

Tagged along when she decided to wander toward someone sleeping, Takato. Got a nuzzle or two from her before settling down. Shudders.

Bid her goodnight once it got too cold.

Aleta popped in briefly to say hi.

Attempted to join Seaglass at the pond but sat at a distance beside a stump. Only stayed for about a minute though.

Curled next to a tree by the 'plaats. Cried.

Pagan came by later resting next to a neighboring tree.

Wandered over towards Atiq. Didn't know what he wanted so left.
- - -
Got a visit from Atiq.

Removed himself once Nawfar made an appearance.

Went into a panic sometime later. Ran right into a curious bystander, Aleta, which caused him to snap out of it. In a daze quickly bowed and ran off.

Angry with himself with what transpired punched a tree and sobbed in a bush.

Soon rose to wash his face.

Traveled to his mother’s spot but along the way saw Aleta again and kinda just awkwardly stopped and stared at her for a sec before fast walking out of there screaming inside.

Confused to find Aleta approach but suspected she followed behind him. Sat together for a bit until another child came by, Neli, ended up sitting between them. Couldn’t stop thinking about accidently colliding with Aleta earlier which tore at him so plucked her a flower, something father taught him, put at ease when she accepted the apology. Rest of the time just sat there lost in thought, unaware of Pagans presence when she came by.

Eventually the area became too much so left the two girls there.

Pagan found him and led him over to Atiq and Nawfar, wanted to be alone but couldn’t refuse. Recoiled at Pagans touch, usually is able to control himself when being touched, but not right now, not like this.

Grew overwhelmed when his state contradicted from theirs. Moved away when he couldn’t stand being there anymore.

Worried sick and heavy hearted after spotting his mother in a distressed state which was also the last time he saw her before she left the forest. Wants to ask his father about it but is way too nervous to bring it up; afraid of what the answer will be or if he’s just being stupid and obsessively over thinking.
