Sososo lately, I had been thinking about the part of Jester I hadn’t really gotten to play about with as of yet-that is, the side of him that eavesdrops, stickybeaks, adores blackmail and scandal, and generally takes pleasure in the secrets and rumours of others. I had also been considering how this side of him could be represented in the most entertaining way not just for me, but for all of you, too. Whilst roleplaying upon livejournal for quite a few years in the past with my two main muses, Marluxia and Kuja, I was introduced during that time to a little something which allowed us all to express creativity, opinions, compliment and communicate with others, and inspire new plots and techniques of character expression that was not only effective, but very fun, as well. This wonderful phenomenon was known as ‘secrets’.

Thus, I presented to you all in this post the concept of ‘TEF Secrets’, asking for feedback and interest-and my gosh, did I get that and more~! And from the fabulousness of you all, TEF Secrets has been born ♥

Basically put, a 'secret' is an image that users make that act like an anonymous confession from their characters. Usually a secret will contain a relevant background image, and words that add to the meaning of this background image in a way that communicates a message, though the secret can be anything you like, from merely an image to a screenshot of a word document with some relevant words. Secrets usually contain ambiguous phrases, or confessions, that make plots and such more interesting, or even create them-these confessions will remain completely anonymous unless the creator admits to making it themselves. Secrets can concern and contain just about anything you like (as long as they comply with the rules, which are listed below in 'the process' section) so let your creative juicies flow~! ♥

TEF Secrets works in exactly the same way as any other secrets concept-everyone within the community submits their created secrets to the organizer (me, in this case), who then posts these secrets in a post where members of the community can view them (I’m aiming for around 10 secrets per post, one secrets post every week/fortnight, life happenings permitting), comment upon them, and spawn ideas/feel fluffy from. The twist with this version though is that these secret posts will be 'run' by Jester, who has supposedly ‘picked up’ these secrets from around the forest during his sneakysneaky wanderings, and now desires to stir things up a bit by revealing his ‘wisdom’ to others~

Before submitting a secret, please read and follow these simple rules:

Please refrain from using any sexual, inappropriate or otherwise disturbing images in your secrets. I’m yet to decide where the borderline lies upon this-suggestive images that are not blatantly inappropriate I may possibly consider accepting for a secrets post depending on what the image contains, but secrets of this nature will be placed as a link rather than an image in secrets posts if I feel it is not safe for minors in some way. Just send in all your secrets anyway and I’ll get back to you with my opinion if I think any of them are in any way questionable. I do want this to be fun for everyone of all ages though, so if you can help it, please do not use anything that could be seen as inappropriate ♥

Similarly, please refrain from using any offensive language/swearing in your secrets. I will deal with secrets containing this in the same manner as possible inappropriate images if the language used .

Do NOT, under any circumstances, use these secrets as a way to attack, harass, offend or generally hurt or upset anyone. This is something that is all for fun, so let’s keep it that way ♥

Please do not pose as someone else’s character by posting secrets from them unless you have talked it over with the player of the character first. The anonymity of this idea may tempt someone to do this and, whilst I doubt it will happen, I’m putting this in there anyway, just in case~

Make all submitted secrets less than 800x800 pixels in size each. Feel free to make them whatever shape, colour, etc you’d like otherwise-even just text on a plain background! But please, keep dimensions below 800x800.

A few extra notes I feel that I should add before all of this goes ahead *ahem*:

Now, I’m sure there will be a few of you that will pose the big question of ‘what about the use of copyrighted images?’-and of course, this is a relevant issue. My first point is this-if you use a copyrighted image, include a reference/link to where you found it or the person who created the original image, and I will include it below your secret as credit for the person who made the work. However, I think that this post sums up basically my view of this in most ways-basically, do not use copyrighted images unless you have permission to do so, but if you do use them otherwise, it is upon your head. In the end, this is all for fun, and unless someone has a severe problem with a secret containing the use of one of their images/a certain copyrighted image, then I am assuming that we can all take this as all in good fun and not a place for plagiarism of the work of others, and just enjoy the secrets and what enjoyment they can bring us :3
