Tablet

My birthday is coming soon, and I'm wanting a tablet as a present.
Problem is, I don't know what kind. D: Could you guys suggest me some good types of tablets? I really have no clue about which are good.
I have heard a lot of people use a bamboo one on here, I think. xD Help please?

If this is your first tablet,

If this is your first tablet, 1. congrats! and 2. I would start with a bamboo. They're great for starters. If you can, try and get the "medium" size. The small tablets are a little too small in my opinion |D

I used to use a tiny old

I used to use a tiny old graphire I don't think they make anymore, but now I use an intuos that I am utterly and completely in love with. Bamboo is good if you have a tighter budget, but I would definitely recommend the intuos if you can manage it.

Yeah this would be my first,

Yeah this would be my first, c:. I looked at some images of them on google, a lot of them do look really small! xD Good to know there are bigger sizes. Thanks!

I'll take a look at it Corg. Seems nice so far x3. Thanks guys. <3

For sort of a price

For sort of a price idea/heads up, like Corg I have an intuos (intuos4 to be exact) and it cost $200 on Amazon.

And it was totally worth it :'D

I have a Wacom Intuos or

I have a Wacom Intuos or something, works pretty well. Congrats Smiling

LolFled. When you say pen

LolFled. When you say pen are you talking about a pen...like with what you write with? I have limited knowledge about tablets. xD;

The intuos does seem a bit pricey. I'll try and persuade my parents to think about it, though. Is it good for beginners? o:

Thanks Deepwoods. c;

The intuos has about 2000+

The intuos has about 2000+ levels of pen pressure on it while the bamboo/graphire maybe only has 500. I think the reason the bamboo is good for beginners is because you aren't surprised at how hard you'd have to press to get a dark line.

The intuos will read every little whisper of your pen and may surprise beginners. But that's my opinion |D

Well the Bamboo line has 5(I

Well the Bamboo line has 5(I think) models, the Pen, Touch, and a couple others, depending on the advantages they have. The Pen model comes with a pen and will only work with that so you can't use your fingers or anything, like you can with the Touch.
