Due to the fact that I live in the boonies and my Internet is not very good, I have trouble logging in to the Forest most of the time. However, I will still do art requests!

Biography

Redkora was brought into being on March 14, 2007. This was long ago before the appearance of fawns, the creation of the Birch Forest, and the arrival of the Dark Lord/Big Zombie Deer. This is not to brag, for the Forest has become a much more interesting place since the time Redkora first appeared. The love and intentions of the Twin Gods settled upon the magical soil of the Forest, the divine energies condensed to form a stag from the dust. The Twin Gods still do this through many different, exciting, and beautiful ways.

Redkora is really myself operating in a virtual forest environment. I use my deer's pictogram, refer to my deer, and refer to myself interchanglibly, and I may use different references to suit the situation.

I majored in a social science, psychology, and I finished a Master's degree in applied cognitive psychology. Watching people interact is fascinating, and this program has provided me with many years of observation. Every day is like engaging in participant observation of a social experiment.

More Stuff

My deer will wear almost anything. He does have a couple of favorite pelts, though: The red pelt with the red stripe and the gold pelt with brown stripes. Antler decorations may vary (i.e. poppies, lilacs, candles, or bare).

First off, I want to thank

First off, I want to thank Michael and Auriea for their continued hard work to make The Endless Forest a great place in which people can peacefully interact. I also want to thank Margo for helping to make the new sets happen!

I hope everyone had a great Carnival! I was unfortunately unable to come in to the Forest. I hope everyone had a great time!

My older cat, Maxi, was put

My older cat, Maxi, was put to sleep today. My mom found her as a tiny kitten after rainstorm clinging for lift on a tree limb over a ditch of water. My mom got her down, tried to find the owner, and decided to bring her home. Coincidentally, that day was my 12th birthday.

Maxi with me for 18 years. She gave me so much love, companionship, and comfort over the years and it will be difficult getting used to the idea of her not being around anymore.

I know that this is not nearly as tragic as losing one's human family member, but it's hard nonetheless.

My deer will be sitting by the Memorial Spot (the large sunspot near the Ruins for a while. He might linger there for the next few days whenever he comes on.

Hello all. Long time no connect. My internet is still dodgy for logging in to the Forest proper, but I am happy to see that the community is flourishing more than ever.

Oh my goodness! I almost

Oh my goodness! I almost forgot to post about my deer's birthday! 10 years ago on March 14, I created my deer.

Thank you Michael and Auriea for such a great game! I really wish I could get back into the Forest. My internet connection isn't stable enough for me to stay in without being kicked off the server, but I love seeing what this piece of art has become.
