Pagans, report in?

A merry Yule to you, indeed.

Just curious as to how many followers of the winding paths there are amongst us. I figured it might be natural to run across some.

The game itself actually for me holds a lot of parallels to my own ideas about my spirituality, and hey, two gods!

Just a little curious shout out.

Uhh... sort of? Not that I want to get into a religious discussion. I've certainly had a lot of leanings that way though, and a strong interest in Celtic mythology ever since I can remember.

Very much Agnostic here ;3

I believe not in one god, nor two, nor many, but more of existance itself. If that is a religion, then so be it. Otherwise, I am a follower of nothing.

I do love to learn about religions other than Christianity (I am a deep non-believer of anything to do with that particular religion; I have no qualms against it, only that it conflicts with my feelings et cetera).

<3's you all.

Believe it or not, I have a lot of time for Christians. It's a good system, very peaceful. In the hands of politicians? not so great..

But in practice it works and that's all that one can ask for.

Spiritual follower of ideals

Spiritual follower of ideals from multiple religions here. My beliefs happen to coincide with Hinduism, so I suppose I could be called Hindu.

Happy holidays, everyone. <3

I.....I'm a mutt XD

I mix Christianity and Pagan beliefs together....along with some Islam for some odd reason.....but I try to keep it on the down low because of how my family feels, and I prefer to keep myself aloof. I don't give away a whole lot about me.

But I won't go any further than that...I recently got into a debate on Paganism and Pagan symbols with someone and it still has me feeling a little flighty, so I've been ignoring it for now x3

Except right here...I dunno, you shouted out, i wanted to shout back XD

Im a Christian myself but I

Im a Christian myself but I am interested in leaning other cultures and religions. I also respect them and the people who follow them.

Well since we're all laying

Well since we're all laying our cards on the table; Atheist...would that be considered pagan, I'd always assumed that just meant any religion other than Christianity but correct me if I'm wrong.

I always thought Pagan was a

I always thought Pagan was a "category" of sorts that holds Wiccan/Druid just abut anything that promotes more than one god, or a sort of "iconic/animalistic" worship. Much like Christian sums up Methodist, Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian and all that.

Makes sense to me, but I've

Makes sense to me, but I've also heard it refer to Islam and other non-Christian religions, which I didn't think made as much sense. Either way, doesn't really matter what you call it as long as it's important to you!

I'm agnostic but enjoy

I'm agnostic but enjoy visiting differint religion's 'churches' merely for learning and observation; not worship. Perhaps one day I may take a job in Theology. :3

Then again I celebrate Christmas. *sigh* I'm just really laid back I guess.

Pagan's a pretty broad term.

Pagan's a pretty broad term. Some people take it to mean anyone who worships multiple gods, others take it to mean anyone who isn't part of the Judeo-christian traditions. It can have several interpretations ;-; Atheist is pretty much someone who doesn't believe in deities at all.

I'm Christian, but I've come to know that there are many people out there who have equal respect for other religious traditions, and even mix them together. It's quite interesting Smiling

I tend to interpret Paganism

I tend to interpret Paganism as polytheistic, and figure Wicca and goddess worship fall under that heading. I go to a Universalist Unitarian church, which seems to be the church of 'whatever you feel like believing' with an underlying code of respect for all religions and all peoples. It's a little more activist than I have the energy for, but I haven't been going there long and I'm new to it. I was raised by New Agers, which is a just plain weird experience, but very open.

I'm a Nihilist. Yet I have deepest respect for other Heathens/Pagans/Satanists, since their theories/legends are what would lie me closest if I was to become religious.

Aye, see, I was refering to

Aye, see, I was refering to the definition of Paganism being the umbrella term for religions that follow earth-based mythos and generally have a pantheon of gods. So, not quite hinduism, though I love the tradition, and not quite shintoism, though I imagine to some they count.

Frankly calling the main world religions such as hinduism, budhism, shintoism and taoism 'Pagan' just because they aren't Judeo-Christian or Islam just a little... hrm.

So, yes. Wicca, Neo-paganism, Druidism, Celticism, Shamanism, Satanism, Sorceratic Practitioners, all that good stuff. =]

My mother is a solitary sorceratic practitioner. The house is so well spelled that our guests stop by for a coffee and end up telling their life stories because they feel so relaxed within the shield boundaries. We use it only for good, of course!! -gigglesnorts-
Me, I'm somewhere between Shamanism and a typical Wiccan solitary witch.. thing. I dunno. I'm walking my own path, at the moment. Well. Less a path and more a lay-by.

EDIT: Before anything else is said, Satanism is not 'devil worship' Satanism is thus named because of the hebrew word 'Satan' meaning 'enemy'. Nicked by Christians to name Lucifer, since he's the 'enemy' of God. However, the official Satanist practice, is very peaceful. It's about introspection, and being careful how you behave with others and yourself. For, they are so named, because the idea behind satanism is that your worst enemy is yourself- or rather the intrinsic evils of human-kind, and the religion is about bettering yourself constantly, battling your internal enemies to make a better world.

I wish I was a satanist but there aren't enough naked gods, fertility rituals, and wine drinking to keep me interested. =D

Oh~ But there are loads of

Oh~ But there are loads of rituals with all that goody stuff, heh? >D You must have searched in the wrong corner <.< -go hides in my blackmetal forest-
